I did a lot of research to find a great Dolomites accommodation in a convenient location. La Ciasota could not be better. The family who runs La Ciasota is lovely, friendly and helpful. You feel a sense of warmth here. Our rooms overlook the most gorgeous mountains and have decks adorned with flower boxes. The breakfast room is also beautiful, and serves scrambled eggs, croissants and jams, meats, cheeses, fruit, heart-shaped Nutella doughnuts, fresh squeezed orange juice, cappuccino, hot chocolate and much more. There is even a beautiful spa with saunas and areas to relax, and a hot tub outside. The hotel is a short drive from Lagazuoi, Sass de Stria and other hiking locations and walking distance to great restaurants, a grocery store, and a sporting goods shop. La Ciasota is a special place and a great value for all it offers.

Excellent location, few steps away from the ski slopes...The room was spacious, with a nice bathroom and a huge shower box...Also good spa area, with sauna and turkish bath...The service also was excellent, very kind and helpful personnel...The only "minus" side is the little selection at the breakfast buffet, but overall it was a great stay and would definetely go back there

We stayed at La Ciasota for 4 nights, using it as a base for our walking holiday. This B&B is so pretty, situated on the edge of the village just below the castle but within easy walking distance of lifts, shops & restaurants. The owners and staff are very welcoming and Rimona in particular was very helpful, due to her excellent English. She provided specialist advice on suitable hiking routes and recommended lovely places to eat. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and breakfast plentiful. We really couldn't fault our stay at La Ciasota and would love to return - maybe in the winter next time!

Everyone here was super kind and hospitable, they made our stay very enjoyable and made us feel welcome. The laundry service here was very convenient and my family and I really enjoyed the spa. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I found that they were cleaned each time I came back to them. The breakfast was also very good, so overall I highly recommend this hotel!

This was an exceptionally good stay - a perfect privately-owned small hotel, with a luxury spa area. A newly-refurbished contemporary alpine property, with a very welcoming host family. Our apartment for 4 people was perfect, and the daily servicing was much appreciated, as was the amazing breakfast. It's around a 10-minute walk to the nearest gondola to access the slopes, and the main town, but skiing back to the property was possible. There's a small honesty bar and lounge on site, and the staff are very willing to recommend restaurants. We would love to visit again.

We were only 4 nights in Garni Ciasota, in the beginning of September and the only negative thing that we can think about is that our stay was too short. The place is immaculately clean, traditional, but modern, have everything you need for comfort and good vacation. The young generation of hosts, especially Romina, is extremely helpful, you will get complete information about the best hiking, places to eat etc. By the way, the breakfast was excellent.
We wish we can stay more in this wonderful area.
Only take into account that La Villa Stern is not a big city and if you are looking for the night life, it is not the place. It is for sport and relaxation!

This was my first time to South Tyrol. This place has a great location. It is within walking distance of the main lift in the area. The place is run by a family. Pietro, his wife and daughter Romina, make your stay very pleasant. The rooms are extremely clean. There is a nice sauna and steam room and the breakfast is good enough to keep you going. There’s a good selection of fruit, cereal, cold meat, cheese, local bread and great coffee. They will even make you a cappuccino if you ask.

Romina’s English is very good. She is very helpful to ensure you have a great stay.

If you are looking for a place to hire ski equipment and/or book lessons make sure you ask Romina.

I will definitely go back. I have already booked for next year.

I’m always complaining about how cold it feels in restaurants, hotels, etc in the U.K. Well, this place is so warm you can wear a tshirt and flip flops.

We spent a week here skiing with the whole family. The B&B is within walking distance from the slopes. The rooms are beautifully furnished. It is very useful that the breakfast room can be used also at other times with a sort of self service with drinks, so you have an extra space. It has a practical ski room and a spa area: a lot of amenities and services for such a small family place, with a good price.

We used La Ciasota as a base for a September walking holiday and it was ideal. Contact was easy and questions quickly answered via e-mail. Our room was large and well-equipped as was the bathroom. We also had a large balcony with beautiful views.
The house as a whole is finished to a high standard and is spotlessly clean.
Breakfasts are outstanding using top quality local products.
Staff are invariably helpful and Rimona is able to offer useful advice on all aspects of the area.
The house is two minutes walk from a summer ski lift to take you up into the mountains. It is about ten miutes walk to the popular La Berca restaurant.
We would certainly return.
