I wish I could give TEN STARS for this property!! We are discerning travelers the world over, and we have never experienced the level of service, quality of food, and attention to detail that Hotel Cristallo provided us. The property was so beautifully appointed, starting with the lobby and continuing to the bar/lounge. The accommodations were exemplary, clean and comfortable. Following stunning hikes in the mountains, we were indulged each afternoon with sweet and savory delights and a circuit of spa-like services. Everything from the warm water pool and steam/saunas, to infrared chairs and serene lounges. But wait, the food!! We usually enjoy dining out but decided to choose the 3/4 board option and are we ever glad we did! The breakfast was fit for a king…the freshest fruits, yogurts, juices, breads, pastries and a variety of egg selections made to order. For dinner we were offered a vast array of choices, with so many creative dishes, and a wine list that enticed even our jaded Napa Valley palates. Other enhancements were guided hikes, e-bike treks, grappa tastings and lunch on the mountain. Now you’d think that would be enough to prompt your booking…but the true highlight of this property was its people and their FIRST CLASS SERVICE. A huge shout out to front desk stars Marie and Vittoria; expert and fun mountain guide, Lucca; and the best waiter/sommelier ever, Raffaello. It’s this entire combination that makes for such a sublime experience and glorious memories. TEN STARS!

First time to the area and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel! Booked a junior suite for our family of four (which worked well with sliding door between). Food was amazing, sumptuously breakfast including juicer, fresh honeycomb, pancakes, omelettes and great coffee, and lots of choice. Afternoon tea was every day 3-5pm with soups, platters of ham, cheeses, salad and puddings. We really loved the wellness centre, particularly the different relaxation areas, outdoor pool which was amazing to swim in especially in the dark and snow falling! Two of the saunas are nudist but we just used towels! The wafting in the sauna was a highlight at 6pm every evening with different scents. Children spent many a happy hour in the indoor pool. No scrimping of money spent on this hotel. Only downside was the hard pillows! And we could hear some music in the evening as we were above the bar. Would have been great to have been in the bar ourselves but couldn’t leave the children. Grappa tasting we also enjoyed.. so much to mention really. Best food we have had and the staff really looked after you. The lady looking after the wellness centre literally never stopped, wiping, replenishing fruit etc. We will be back!

This has been my 3rd stay at this hotel. I was there 2 years ago for skiing in winter, later - for hiking in summer and now I participated in the hiking "Alpinista" week. The vacation experience in this place has always been great. The rooms are spacious and many of them are newly renovated in a very nice typical Apline design and kept really clean. The bed is large and wide and super comfortable. You also get a large number of pillows, so that you can make yourselves really comfortable. The fluffy bath robe, sets of cosmetics and other amenities add to the comfort feeling. The food in the restaurant is just great! It is an South Tyrolean unbeatable mix of Austrian and Italian food, there's a good selection of wines, as well as grappas and cocktails at the bar. The service is great. The reception stuff is very friendly, helpful and forthcoming. The spa, although relatively small, is nice, new and stylish. The infinity pool with the view over the mountains is fantastic, as well as the large relaxation rooms. There are only few saunas, all of them are not very hot. But there are also not many people using them apart of the infusion times. The cosmetics and massage service is very good too. The location on the main road between Corvara and LaVilla villages is good, if you're looking for a getaway, but suboptimal if you like to go out in the evening without driving your car. It can also be quite noisy in summer - so, ask for the room to the backyard. It would be much quieter at a trade off of a great view. The transfer to the ski lifts is organized by the hotel-owned minibus. You need to call the hotel to be picked up in the evening. They arrive quite fast though. Else, the hotel offers great sportive program with some ski tours in winter and great guided hiking tours in summer season. Can't wait to go there again!

We have been skiing in the Sella Ronda for 30 years and have stayed at many hotels in the region. This was our first stay at the Cristallo and it will not be our last. It is without question at the very top level of any four star hotel in the region and even better than some of the other five star hotels we have stayed. The facilities are excellent. We had two grandchildren 18 & 6 months old and we were a party of 8 in total and booked 3 rooms. All the rooms were well appointed with comfy beds. The rooms were 3 different levels and the family were all very pleased with each of the rooms. The hotel staff at every level were amazing including the family owners that run the hotel. They say lead by example and the owners do just that! The hotel caters for couples as well as families and we liked the fact that in the restaurant there is a family section which has the same service and standards but when kids scream it’s ok because you don’t feel you are disturbing other guests. The wine list is very good with an interesting selection of local wines and top Italian wines from other regions. Great job team Cristallo and thank you for helping us with transfers and our lunch bookings at our favourite mountain spots and going above and beyond our expectations looking after us all with our grandchildren. We hope to be back soon.

This place is awesome. Staff are super friendly and the huge breakfast and lovely coffee was the perfect way to start the day before a long hike. The rooms are well considered and certainly one of the nicest alpine hotels I've stayed in. The location is a bit out of town, but they have a great transport service and you are just a couple of minutes from some great hikes. The views are epic too!! Looking forward to coming back in the winter. Thank you to the lovely team who checked us in and kept us well fed.

We were so happy with the Hotel Cristallo that we have already informed for next year! A structure finely cared for and maintained in detail, a warm welcome but always respectful and polite, very careful in accepting our requests. The restaurant has always provided us with a lot of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a focus on gluten-free given the celiac disease of one of us. The wellness area is also well-kept and offers various activities where children and teenagers up to 16 years old are not allowed in and I think this is much appreciated by guests. Children still have the kids club as a viable alternative to entertain themselves. The location is really lovely, in the middle of a unique green, with a really beautiful view. The only sore note (but I think it depended on the location of our room) the noise that came from the road, the only way of communication between the different countries of the valley. For the next holiday we would take a room located in another wing of the hotel, we would enjoy a great view equally.

From the moment you check in to check out and during the stay, this hotel excels in luxury, care, quality, friendliness of employees. Everyone in check in is great, the font office has A+ in service, our rental car broke, and they did it all and much more to help us to deal with our car rental company. They even called a taxi to help us get a new car in Venice.
The rooms are great, we got the Cristallo suite, and it is superb, nice views. The restaurant is to die for, chef is excellent. Total luxury in rooms, the SPA, the pool seen in the picture is a true picture of it at night. Get the full course meal, is a bargain for what you get, Gourmet breakfast and Dinner, plus the hotel has a happy hour from 4 to 6pm or so with also great food and service.
The location is right in the middle of the best area to stay in the Dolomites.
We will return to this beautiful area of Italy, and when we do it, it will be here no questions. Make no mistake, this is a 5 STAR HOTEL.

I've visite several times in recent years the hotel and every year they offer something more and they add new facilities. The after ski meal is really appreciated as well as dining at La Gana. The kindness of the owner and of the personnel is a real plus. The hotel is not close to ski areas but the efficient shuttle service solve the problem

Enjoyed a superb time in a great location in the gorgeous Italian Dolomites, a few hundred metres from the hamlet of La Villa on one side and a couple of km outside of Corvara, both of which are easily reachable by free hotel shuttle service during several hours of the day. Booking direct with the hotel was great thanks to its super efficient booking system. The hotel itself has a nice reception area, great room choice, cool-chic lounge bar area (beautiful wine room), perfect spa-wellness area and a lovely outdoor heated pool. To top it all up, great staff that add to a feeling of warmth and a feel-good factor that takes you away from the trials and tribulations of daily life in today's world. Super getaway both for skiing and hiking enthusiasts!
