Made a booking for my trip in Feb this year after attending a friend's Wedding. Very convenient location and friendly staff, they even have a their own bath house at the top floor of this hotel. Gym - Can skip.. They should feel embarassed they even call it a gym Bath house - Nt bad, they split the bath house for different genders on diff days and it is quite decent but they should have some music or a TV. Might get a bit quiet at night .. Breakfast - Good variety but small area so you might need to wait for a seat. Room is spacious and clean but the toilets are disappointing. For the price paid, I expect probably a bathtub. Location - Very convenient, walking distance to train station, shopping malls, 24 hrs restaurants, convenient shops.

This hotel is located on one of the main roads in downtown Taipei. It is within a 5 minute walking distance to the Metro Station and Plenty of Taxi or bus service available on the Fuxing Road. The lobby, elevator, hallway and room is small, but, very clean. The room I had was narrow, barely enough width to fit 2 night stands on each side of the bed. The bed, linen, and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, but, decent. Overall, clean, and offers the traveller a comfortable environment to sleep in. Breakfast area is quite small, offering mostly local breakfast selections. The best selling point for this hotel is its location and convenience accessing most of Taipei's main commercial districts and attractions. It's a decent choice for business and leisure travellers that wants a piece of quietness in mid-price range hotel choice in the downtown area.

First time to stay in this hotel. It’s better than expected. The rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hard to find a nice comfy bed in a hotel. The hotel rate included breakfast - which wasn’t bad. It would be better if have some other choices each day - same dishes for the 4 days stay there. The hotel was situated in a good location. Not far from Mrt station and a lot of nice local restaurants nearby. I arrived before 12pm and they allowed me to check in and have a room ready.. which was fantastic.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. I have been to Taipei several times but decided to stay nearer to the East District this time. I booked this hotel primarily for its proximity to Da An station and also for the ease in booking as the room rate offered is a flexi rate. I would have picked Park Hotel Taipei but the room rates on its official website were all prepaid rates. Taipei Fullerton may be a little pricey but it is a very short walk to Da An station. Breakfast was also included. The executive room that I had stayed for three nights was spacious, clean and bright. It was on the eight floor and had been refurbished less than a year ago. The carpet, wallpaper, curtains and furniture were new and I liked that the huge Sony TV in the room came with all HD channels! I had stayed at 君品 before but didn’t like it as it was very dark inside the room. It’s a pity that the bathroom wasn’t renovated but then it was functional. The water pressure was excellent so showering there was always a pleasure. The mattress and the pillows were firm so I always slept well. I enjoyed my stay as there were plenty of food options in the hotel vicinity and I could even walk to the Tong Hua night market every evening (Wellcome supermarket was also nearby). Breakfast spread wasn’t fantastic but it was good enough for me. I liked that I could enjoy a good cup of Americano at their lounge any time of the day. I almost forgot to mention that I was able to check in before 12 pm. That’s quite rare for Taipei hotels!

I have a business trip extended to 12 days in Taipei. This one is less than n5 mins walk to Metro station Da'an, metro is the best commute choice to my destination, save so much time during traffic hours. The hotel has free breakfast on the 2nd floor, different dishes every day and they are indeed better than Marriott or Hyatt in many US locations. Rooms are very clean, I like firm bed they have, and sheets are very white and clean. There are no smell, or smell of Clorox. I literally have to ask front desk for recommendation of dinner choice since hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner or lunch. I did stay long enough for one weekends. Staff are super helpful for me, have to give a shout-out to Ivy, Cherry, Carol and Clara, who helped me a lot. This trip is long, but out of surprise, hotel actually makes this particular business trip enjoyable. It rains a lot during the stay, damp air and humidity bothers a lot, services from hotel does make this strip rather enjoyable, hence the title. Hope this helps when you choose the hotel next time in Taipei.

Nice clean and comfortable room with large double bed, aircon, wall-mounted large flatscreen TV, tea/coffee, minibar (a couple of soft drinks for free), robes, safe, large walk-in shower. We stayed on the 7th floor at the rear side of the hotel, it was very quiet and we got good sleep. Breakfast is 6.30-10.00 and adequate with a variety of western and Asian choices. Staff and welcoming and helpful. Very close to Daan MRT station makes a great hotel location.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Taipei including the excellent Les Suites and the perfectly acceptable Tango. This falls far below the latter unfortunately. Starting with the room, there was almost no daylight at all. One window which looked almost directly on to a brick wall. Acceptable in Hong Kong perhaps, but not Taipei. Perhaps way have been fact that I was in a x12 room - do not accept being placed in any room ending in 12. The shower floor easily overflowed on first use into the bathroom. On inspection, I found that the plug hole was full of (someone else’s) hair. It’s easy to clean, which I reluctantly did myself, I’m not sure why the cleaners didn’t. The bed - “two single beds doth not a double-bed make”, it might work sometimes, but with each single individually being so lumpy and a clear divide felt between, I had an awful night’s sleep. Breakfast - now to be fair most Taiwan hotel breakfasts aren’t too western-friendly, but this was poor even with that in mind. The coffee was a lukewarm brew pot, the toasters didn’t work (3 out of 4 days), baked beans usually aren’t served (intentionally) cold guys. On a positive, the staff are nice and it’s less than 5 mins walk to Da-an station.

We stayed at Fullerton South twice. We had a great experience the first time and decided to stay there again. Our second time was okay. In general, the room was clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. The only complaint we had was the business room at the corner on the seventh floor. The shower head was designed/installed directly facing the shower door. Every time after showering the floor would be soaking wet because of the gap between the glass door. Not sure if this would ever be fixed but we told the manager and there was nothing they could do about at the time besides giving us a bunch of towels to soak up the floor. Breakfast selection was okay but it gets a bit old if you stayed there for several days. We did not care much about the minibar (soda, crackers etc.) that came with but it was nice they have complementary water bottles every day. Overall we were satisfied for this being a 4-star hotel due to location, cleanliness and complementary breakfast.

Arrived a day earlier than booked and the staff very obligingly gave me a room for the additional night (not free - but hoped they would have charged the same rate I paid for the rest of the 10 nights - not the case). Buffet Breakfast, room bar (one coke, one sprite, 3 packets of snacks), two bottles of drinking water all included in the cost, as well as a 24/7 cafe in the lobby with coffee and biscuits all included free of cost. Top floor gym and sauna included free of cost - unfortunately no swimming pool. Staff were very friendly, spoke english reasonably well. The rooms were not overly spacious, but comfy, very clean, modern with modern gadgets. In house laundry avoidable, and luckily there is a coin operated laundry facility within ten mins walking - staff willing to give you the address. Convenient to use the MRT. Take the MRT from the airport to Daan (suggest purchase an "Easy Card" at the airport, put some cash on it to travel and pay for groceries at 7/11. Keep topping it up at 7/11 - best way to travel, and claim a refund of unused value at the airport on departure, but you do not get a refund of the cost of the card - NTD 100. On arrival at Daan, make your way to Exit 4, from there exit from 5,(because there are escalators to exit 4, useful if lugging suitcases) and keep walking for 3 mins to the hotel. Convenient eating places around the hotel. The 7/11 just opposite (eleven oclosck), will heat your frozen meals at no cost. Just around the corner towards the left of the hotel, walk around 7-10 mins past Siwei road to find a grocery supermarket - "Welcome" - for additional requirements. Catholic church - Holy Family, within walking distance (20 mins) - just across Daan Park, with english masses on Sunday 0945.

Our last hotel for our two week Taiwan trip was Fullerton in Daan District. It's my personal favorite because it has a beautiful and extremely comfortable sitting lounge in the lobby where we enjoyed a cup of good coffee and some cookies. This was a huge plus because this compensated the small room that we had. The mattress is a bit hard for us but when we asked reception to do something about it, they immediately attended to our needs. The staff here are extremely nice and helpful especially the gentleman in the reception who speaks English, the lady at the buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor and the lady at the lobby who replenishes the coffee supplies. Even if she can't speak English, she always smile graciously. The staff here can speak better English. Their international spread for breakfast is excellent and I really enjoyed their salads. The hotel is just 200 meters away from Daan mrt so it's super convenient. Our three day stay was very pleasant and we're planning to go back again.
