Location is very good. 2-3mins walk from Ximending, exit 3. There's escalator up and down at exit 3, don't need to worry about carrying your luggage up the stairs.
Staffs are extremely friendly and thoughtful. Frontdesk staffs are very courteous and helpful. Stayed over New Year period and was surprised that they actually hang 2 cup noodles outside every guest room with the thoughts that we may get hungry & tired after coming back from the countdown party.
Housekeeping staff, Sakura is very thoughtful to use a velcro strap to tie up our hp charging cable neatly.
These thoughtful little acts from staffs of Cityinn Hotel plus Ximending really WOW-ed my stay experience. Will definately come back to this hotel if I come to Taipei again.

The location was perfect; close to the MRT, lots of breakfast eateries and restaurants, convenience stores and shops. Complimentary use of washing machine, dryer and laundry powder available 24/7 was very convenient, especially since I suffered from jetlag and could do some washing at 3 am. The espresso machine ground fresh coffee beans which made one of the most delicious coffees I have ever tasted. The interior decoration was interesting and funky. Our family room was spacious despite us having 8 suitcases (we used the huge bathroom as storage). We slept very well on the comfortable beds. The only windows were in the bathroom, but they were obscure (to allow for privacy). There are signs in the hallway asking guests to keep their voices down and it must have worked because we heard no noise.
The staff was superb! We have stayed in a vast range of accommodations – from Airbnbs to 5 star hotels – but we have never, ever encountered such excellent, warm and friendly hospitality as we experienced from the ladies at CityInn Plus. Victoria, Bonnie, Aileen and Amber. You made our stay delightful! We miss you all so much!
We were 10 in our group so can be quite hectic trying to organise everything and everybody from the ages of 10 to 83. The ladies were proactive, reminding us to borrow umbrellas, asking what our plans were for the day, giving suggestions, happily booked our transports, etc. We were so well taken care of! On our day of check out, when our vehicle arrived, I ran in to the reception to say good bye to Victoria. She asked me to wait while she quickly finished her duties. I didn’t know what for, but she came out to say good bye and didn’t leave until our vehicle had taken off. We were so touched; it was like saying good bye to a close friend.

The biggest plus point for this hotel is its location. Other than that we didn't enjoy our stay at this hotel as the room is very small and not suitable for young kids even though we booked a family room that suppose to be "bigger" than usual. The only space thats spacious is the bathroom. Also, There is only 1 elevator in the building and it is a very small lift. We wasted lots of time waiting for the lift which is also shared with the hotel staff (like house keeping, staff moving things up and down the hotel, etc) during our stay. We also didn't like this aspect when traveling with young kids that making noise seeing the lift up and down and always full. The other aspect that we didn't like is the sound proof is weak that we can hear loads of noises from outside or the rooms next to us or above us. also, when we travel with young kids, we usually have more baggages. Mind you that there is no bell boy service to bring the baggages up to the room and down to the lobby during check out. Overall, we didnt enjoy the stay as we can hardly have a good rest.

To prevent the spread of covid-19, hotel takes precaution such as taking temperature and cleaning our hands with sanitizer before returning to our room.
Seeing us going out for our wedding photoshoot in Taipei, the staff offered to take photo of us and wrote us cards/ letters. They spent every effort to give us little surprises such as small decorations in the room. Greatly appreciate all the effort to make us have an enjoyable trip.

This hotel essentially checks all the boxes for everything you ever wanted in a hotel. Good service, clean rooms and convenient location. It is only 2-3 minutes away from Ximen station and it's right next to a Family Mart too! Special shoutout to Amber and Doris for the amazing hospitality. Stayed for 8 nights over the new year, and genuinely wowed by the hospitality and standard of service. The staff realised we were celebrating a birthday and brought cake after we returned from dinner, and a card! They hung pot noodles at our door for a snack after returning from countdown parties and went beyond expectation with helping us research on hot springs.
The hotel is small and functional. The room was very clean. The room was small, however, and would’ve been perfect for one and was a little tight for two with a ton of shopping.
The location is excellent. It is right across the road from Ximen MRT Exit 3. In close proximity (easy walk across a big junction) to Ximending but away from the noise.
All in all really happy with the hotel. I would most definitely stay there again if travelling alone, and may consider a larger room (Maybe with a window?) if travelling with company.

Location: located right in front of Ximending and between Exit 3 and 4 of Ximen Station. 7-11/Familymart and pharmacies available within a 1 min walking radius.
Check in: check in was done under 5 minutes, special shoutout to Elaine for the quick check in and explain to me the check in details.
Room: Room is great, stayed at the same room type (different floor this time) twice. room cleaning is done daily (Normal Cleaning/Eco Cleaning/No cleaning) unlike other hotels in Taiwan which they will only do cleaning once every 3 days and only do minimal housekeeping (exchanging of towels and trash cleaning) once a day. The room also provides various one time use and disposable toiletries. Hot kettle, fridge and tea bags are available in the room. The toilet also has a bathtub!
Amenities: hotel has a small dining and sofa area at B1. Also has a laundry room with 3 dryer and 3 washing machine free of charge for hotel guests! Coffee machine also available t B1. Instant cup noodles available for hotel guests after 10pm.
Service: Hotel staff is very friendly, they greet every single guest entering and exiting the hotel lifts and hotel entrance, made me feel very welcome.
Airport transfer: the hotel also provides two-way airport transfer from NT1000 per person.
Others: Hotel is very detail oriented, they update the daily weather forecast in the lift and highlight the expected temperature of the day for Taipei and even as far as Jiufen where alot of travellers love to visit.
Hotel also provides an advance order list for selected Taiwan snacks to be delivered to the hotel. They also provide advance order for Fu Hang Soy Milk too!
Will definitely come back here again if I visit Taipei.

We stayed in room 512 for 4nights (2pax) Overall Excellent experience in this hotel 10/10. Will surely book here when we comeback to Taiwan because of this:
Location: easy to find as its building is just few steps away in Ximen station exit 1. Near Ximending, Family Mart, 7/11 and Carrefour Gillin Store (Pasalubong hub :D)
Room: Is very clean; the bathroom and bed (NO bed bugs and cockroaches) Suited for 2pax with 1hand carry and checked in luggages. They do room cleaning when requested, ours we requested it to be cleaned once we’re out everyday and they replenish the toiletries as well. The building looks new and well-maintained. Hallway is quiet quiet and well-lit. Good deal for its price. We book it in Klook. Smooth transaction and confirmation upon arrival.
Amenities: Have Lounge with free milk tea, ice tea, coffee, Tea, water and snacks/candies, Free use of microwave n tableware, Extra good deal for me is the availability of Flat Iron and they also have free self service use of washing machine and dryer for our laundry which is a SUPER +++😍 free cup noodles every night starting 10pm Weighing scale is available too in the front door. After we checked out n still have some time they store and keep our luggages safe first so we can still freely roam around after out checked out time. The best!
Staff: The front desk staffs have very good communication skills, has staff to assist in day and night. They are helpful and accommodating. We appreciate the effort in sending cards every morning to notify us of the weather forecast and the food recommendation letter made by Gina is very helpful and we appreciate it. Thank you. Also shout out to the cleaning lady and other staff who made our room neat and clean whenever we return. Great Job guys! Much appreciated:) Thank you very much.

Staff remembers that I need extra pillow, goes the extra mile to introduce places of interest and where to find my favourite food.
