Having stayed in hotels around the world for mandatory Covid quarantine, I found the Tango Taipei Changan among the best of them. The hotel does everything possible to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible within the quarantine regulations. An espresso coffee machine and microwave oven is provided and, to my surprise I even found a washing machine / drier combination installed in the room. Ample amounts of coffee, tea and bottled mineral water. The room is comfortable and very clean with free high speed wifi, flatscreen TV and a private balcony. The bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and separate large shower. Large amount of towels and toiletries available. Tasty meals are provided by the many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel with mostly a soup starter, mixed fruit desert and a drink. I was surprised with a text message that an afternoon snack/drink was delivered at my door. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. My choice for the future visits to Taipei.…

If you are required to quarantine at a hotel in Taipei; do NOT select this hotel. The room is, dark, no view, refrigerator (even after being replaced) does not cool the contents. The food is by far the worse I have ever had and the portions are not enough for an adult. The food is brought up and placed at the door and you retrieve it. You never have face to face with anyone so no way to complain and you wouldn't get any results because it is a group deal. Their meals are poor box lunch quality. Tough meat, greasy and cold. Good things about the room: great coffee, microwave, clothes washer and the bed is comfortable. Everything else is poor at best. Moving is NOT an option so we have to bear with it.

In the middle of all the Taipeh bustle, THE Tango hotel is an oasis of quiet. The Wonderful Suite was luxurous. Surprisingly, the bath turned out to be a jacuzzi and the mirror a tv, and both could be enjoyed simultaneously!! The fully automated toilet is a hilarious delight for us Westerners! Use of the underground parking is free (!) and the minibar was complementary. Service in the Tango hotels is great and all your needs will be catered to. A nice and comfortable place to take a breather in an remarkably easy-going city.

Rooms are very modern equipped, decorative and comfortable. Bed is very comfortable,the bathroom have tv, comfort toilet seat(automatic cleaning,ect.) Whirlpool and separate shower. Service crew is very helpful and try really their best efforts to make me as a frequently customer a comfortable stay everytime. Breakfast is not western but up to request they offer some cheese slights. Anyway,I visit this hotel already since about 5 years frequently, I will be back again and again.

This was our second visit to Taipei to attend a Concert and we booked this hotel due to the location that was perfect for our venue, In general the location is great for any traveler, just few steps to the MRT line, close to most of the tourist destinations in Taipei, The staff is very polite and helpful, always smiling, the rooms are extremely clean and they kept everything in order We are pretty disappointed with the hotel for many reasons , they offer a complementary mini bar and literally what they have in the minibar is 1 coke, 1 soda, and 1 sprite per a double bedroom, what if we both want a coke?......... seriously I'd rather have a normal minibar with charge than this STINGY promotion that make the hotel looks like cheap...... or even a real complementary minibar as many other hotel we've been, Breakfast is just ok, poor fruit's offer and sadly poor local dishes offer, again we've been in another hotel in the same price range in Taipei and has been thousand times better than this, The hotel design in general is great, with high tech amenities everywhere, nice beds and linen , nice toilette design, but there are few design issues that make your stay really uncomfortable, First of all, the lack of light in the toilette, I know it is a Design trend to minimize the lighting in order to create a cozy atmosphere, but getting shaved was awful, The second is the lift, I'm not sure what is the ratio of lift per room, but this seems to be wrong, because the waiting time was crazy, because there is just one lift for Guests,…

I liked the Tango Hotel. Location is good. Pretty close to various metro lines. About 8 min walks to the Bannan line and similarly to the red and green lines. I also walked to Taipei Main Station in about 12 minutes... So pretty convenient. The area feels quiet but there are lots of restaurants around. I paid about £110 and I had a massive room which came equipped with all possible gizmos known to the hotel world. Electronic controls for the lights (app and telly remote could also control the lights), electric blinds, toto top of the range toilet, jacuzzi, dolby 5.1, 4 TVs including one in front of the bath... All the tech mostly worked well and everything was top brands. The bed super comfy. The not so perfect bits: this is a small hotel... So don't expect big gym... Or big common areas etc. In the room... Well it is quiet enough but we were on the top floor and you could hear some fan equipment. Also I like a dark room and this was not... The bathroom door was glass... And the bathroom has a window which means a lot of light comes into the room... Would be better if the glass door had a dark film on it. The room that they gave me on the top floor did have a City view, but the room itself was relatively small even for one person. No way 2 people could be comfortable. The breakfast buffet was average with a fairly limited selection. Housekeeping kept missing some items when they did the daily cleaning (e.g. slippers one day, laundry bag the next....). The gym is very small, probably 10ft x 12 ft and could only fit 1 treadmill, a bicycle and some dumbells. The equipment looks like it is not wiped down regularly. When I stayed at this hotel couple years ago, the service and housekeeping seemed better, the buffet had more selection, and the rooms were in better condition. Probably time to move on and try a newer hotel or the renovated ones like the Grand Sheraton.

We have stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The room and the bathroom were modern, clean and spacious, good wifi. They offered a hot breakfast buffet (was included in the rate for us) which wasn't large but decent and tasty to fill up your tummy :-) There are also many cafes and restaurants in a walking distance, including shops and stores so good for lunch/dinner. The staff was very helpful, we had questions on how to get somewhere or find a night market and they provided clear instructions in a fine English. In fact, Ningxia Night Market is about 20-25min walk from the hotel. Also we had no problems holding the luggage after we check-out as our flight was much later. The only downside was both metro stations were a bit far, 10 or 15 min from the hotel. So it is not easy to haul luggage from/to there, and considering Taipei metro doesn't have many escalators, a lot of stairs... Note we took a taxi from the airport to get here which wasn't expensive (I'd certainly recommend it), make sure you specifically show a taxi driver the hotel address as there are more than one Tango Hotels in the vicinity.…

I love this hotel! I would've given this 5 stars if not for the super long walk to the nearest train station (which is at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi mall - not 10 minutes away, more like 20 to 25 by foot if you're on a leisurely walk). There is a nearer bus stop but Taiwan's transport system is not as easy to navigate as Hong Kong or Singapore so we end up using a cab most of the time. The hotel itself is fabulous! It's a business hotel so don't expect a grand lobby with multiple staff waiting on you. Exteriors are very simple and sleek and the rooms are very modern. Rooms come with a handyphone which is now a must for me when I travel. Saves on having to rent wifi or buy a sim. Breakfast is cheap and simple, no frills, but good and filling. Mini bar is free - Evian water, Illy coffee, tea, sodas. If you plan to take a cab to the airport, the hotel will arrange it for you at no additional cost. The staff are friendly and efficient but not all well versed in English, which is manageable. I not suggest asking for directions tho, better to use google maps. Would definitely try other Tango hotels when I visit Taiwan again. …

Tango hotel looks modern and when you get to your room you will enjoy all kinds of amenities (pineapple cakes, great selection of teas, greatest sleepers...) and a comfortable bed. Room decoration is great and cool and the bathroom is clean and has a superb bath. Further, in your room you have a cell phone with free wifi to walk along the city. A hidden jewel in Taipei.
