The room we stayed in this hotel was the triple sharing room which we felt very comfortable to rest after the long day of tripping in Taiwan. The bed, pillow and comforter are very soft that you want to stay all day in the bed he he he. The staff are very kind, accommodating and easy to communicate with because of their fluency in english. They not only answer our queries but also give advice on what is the better option. Regarding the comfort room, I must say that the CR is perfect because of its cleanliness and structure (separate CR for boys and girls, separate shower and toilet room, and the shower rooms have extra space for our toiletries). The use of ecards for the lock of the room is very convenient and safe. The location of the hotel, for me, is the best because it is very near the Exit 6 of Taipei Metro Green i.e. after the long tour in the city you can easily go to the hotel after hopping the MRT and no need to walk long. The amenities mentioned in the booking.com were all found in the hotel. Over all, this hotel satisfied us that is why we highly recommend this to the readers. Not so expensive but very satisfying. The only thing we want to remark was the aircon in Room 110 was not so cold during our stay and the fact that the room has no cabinet to hang on our clothes but I think this can be improved by the hotel management. Other than those, we are really satisfied on our stay in the houze hotel.

We stayed for one night in the Deluxe Double Room. The room itself is clean and can stay up to 4 people at a time. The bed is spacious for one and big enough for two. Pillows and comforters are really comfy. They also offer indoor slippers if you don't have any with you. The staff is friendly and helpful. The common area isn't too big tho. It gets full pretty easily if there's a group of people using it. The soundproof between rooms is not very well designed. So please beware of controlling your volume if you want to stay here, otherwise you'll disturb your neighbors pretty easily, cause the people next door can hear you pretty well. As our neighbor woke up at 8.30am started chatting and playing music... You'll need ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The draining system doesn't seem to be functioning very well. A couple of female shower rooms got flooded during showering, and the drainer of the basin in front of the bathroom was also kinda blocked. It's either the drainers need to be cleaned up somehow or they just don't work very well since it's in the basement (?). Overall, I still think it's a quite decent place to stay in Taipei if you're looking into a budget stay. The location is decent and convenient, gets you pretty much everywhere. The bar next door looks pretty nice, too.

We stayed at this hostel twice during our visit to Taipei, as it was located in a great loation. The metro is located a short walk from the hostel which makes it very easy to get all around Taipei. From the airport we took the Evergreen bus 5201 and got off at stop 9 (Songjiang Chanchun Rd. Intersection) and it is a 10 min from where the bus drops you off to the hostel. At the airport, you will need to follow the signs for the bus station and buy a ticket from the Evergreen office before boarding the bus. The rooms are a little small but ok for 2 people and they have very comfortable beds and the rooms are clean. The toilets and showers are kept separate which wasn't a problem as this was kept clean. I liked how the showers had a separate compartment which locked so you could keep your stuff dry while having a shower. There is also cheap laundry facilities if you need to do any washing and luggage storage. In the reception area there is a kitchen/ dining area if you want to make your own food or just eat in the hostel. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly during our stays. We decided to take to take the metro outside the hostel (Songjiang Nanjing exit 6) to the airport so the quickest way to get the airport train is to take a metro to Beimen and walk to the airport train platform. Its worth noting that Exit 6 only has stairs so if you don't want to carry your luggage up the stairs I suggest you take exit 7 which is round the corner from exit 6 but still only a 10 min walk to the hostel. I would definately recommend staying here if you are visiting Taipei.

Location, location, location! This place is only few steps away from Songjiang Nanjing MRT station. You can use either Exit 6 or 7 to reach the hostel. There are lots of restaurants nearby. If you use the back alley, there's a 7-Eleven and lots of hawker food stalls. The place is clean in general. We booked a quadroom - though it's a bit small, the bed is comfy. The only downside is of sleeping on the top deck of a bunk bed is that I can hear some noise from the top floor. The pipes are also exposed so it makes me uncomfortable at times. Other than that, the room is superb as it has enough electric sockets which travelers like myself need due to the number of gadgets that I usually bring. The bathroom is shared but I'm telling you that it is well maintained and beautifully designed and well lit for a hostel. It also has basic amenities like soap, shampoo and hair dryer too. I would recommend this hotel for budget travelers who wants a nice and decent place to stay while exploring the streets of Taipei! Taiwanese people are generally helpful so if you get lost, you can always ask them for directions. :-)

The room is not big, but comfortable enough for 2 people. The beds are comfy, although the pillow is too soft for my liking. The shared toilets weren't a problem for me since it was kept really clean. I loved that the showers had a partition for a dry part, so your stuffs can be left there without getting wet. The staffs were really helpful and friendly too. The hostel is located just right next to the entrance of Exit 6 of Songjiang Nanjing MRT station. Do note that there are no escalators to this exit, and down to the hostel as well. So that's 2 times of hording your own luggage up and down the stairs. Other than that, I loved this place!
