Had some hiccups during my first night but was solved on the following day. Got a room with bath tub. Appreciate the help from the kind staffs. Room size is just nice for 2 guests with 2 cabin luggages. Toothpaste sets , soap, shower caps & paper type of disposable bedroom slippers provided. Combs & razors provided upon request.
24 hr snack bar ( titbits, biscuits & candies ) with free flow of beverages ( flavored packet drinks, instant coffee & milk tea, mineral water & sodas ) Free instant noodles per guest from 8pm-12mn ( Sweet thoughts from the hotel management )
There is a weighing scale at the lobby. Free laundry at level 9. Guests can also enjoy special discounts from certain restaurants & bubble tea outlets.
Location is good. Close to Ximending but around 10mins walk to ximen station.
Check in time @ 3pm & checkouts at 12pm. Extension of room will be charged at TW$300 per hour.

The hotel is very nice and the location is in the center of ximending lots of eateries just below the hotel, night market downstairs, malls and the mrt is just walking distance! The hotel is clean and modern design.. The receptionist is very friendly to us, assist us very well in our needs.. The room is very spacious and the bathroom is very clean. They have free foods like breads, juices, coffee and snacks available at the counter. A very friendly hotel! Highly recommended!! Will comeback again in this hotel whenever will visit taiwan again.. Good 3 nights stay at Muzik Hotel. Although hotel size is a little but it’s good for two. Comfortable clean beds and toilet. Surprised by their hospitality for their guests, with free Taiwanese snacks and packet drinks available 24-hours and instant noodles were provided at night for supper too! Very thoughtful for hungry guests.. also love their helpful Receptionists and I will recommend this hotel!

I chose Muzik Hotel because it was one of my best stays during my trip to Taipei in 2019. I usually stick to the same hotel if it meets my needs, so I decided to return for a second visit after five years. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of my expectations.
From the moment I stepped into the lift, I was disappointed—it was dusty and unkempt. The hotel lobby is located on Level 3 and operates only from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., which is quite inconvenient. Thankfully, I arrived before the reception closed. However, I met a couple the next evening who arrived at 8 p.m. and found themselves stranded. Without service staff, they couldn’t access the lobby or retrieve their room key unless someone let them in to use the self-help check-in kiosk.
This limited reception service posed additional challenges, such as when we needed extra toiletries at night. We had to make an external call to their main branch for assistance. Moreover, as the reception doesn’t open until 10 a.m., the breakfast service at the Xining branch was non-existent. I had to collect breakfast from the Ximending branch, which offers 24-hour reception services.
The moment I entered my room, I was shocked. The room was much more smaller than before, had a musty smell, and the wallpaper and paint were noticeably worn out. It felt more like a budget hotel, than a three star hotel. To make matters worse, the hotel doesn’t change bed linens unless the stay exceeds five or six nights, and the towels provided were stained.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t cancel the booking as it was non-refundable.
I gave 2 stars solely because of the friendly staff and the hotel’s proximity to Ximending. However, I will not return for a third stay.

The hotel is fine, definitely dated looking. The lobby on the main floor is rundown, elevators are running, but possibly under construction? (Or at least look that way, plywood floors, plastic walls) The rooms do not look anything like the pictures and are very tired. There was trash (and a fair bit of it) under our beds. The room was ample for a family of 4, bathroom was ok. The snacks and drinks mentioned in other reviews were some chips and water in the room on the first day. No foot spa, noodles, soft drinks etc as other reviewers said. There is NOT 24 hour desk service and if you booked a taxi through them at an early time, you will have to walk to another branch for pick up. You will then find you definitely booked the wrong location, as everything about the lobby area of the other location is better. The area felt safe, but is not very convenient to MRT lines. I would not book again.

For its low cost, this hotel is decent. Good location in walking distance to metro and Ximending walking area.
The rooms are small. I think I paid a little extra to get a larger room, which was definitely worth it, though the room was still not huge. My parents’ room barely had any floor space around the bed, which made opening suitcases difficult. They also paid more for a room with a window...which turned out to look two feet to another wall. The advertised rooms and photos were definitely deceptive. When we arrived, the hot water didn’t work. The technician who fixed it left muddy footprints all over the bathroom, which wouldn’t have been cleaned up if I hadn’t called back and mentioned it. The maid then just wiped it up with a dry paper towel, which didn’t really do much. This all made me doubt the quality of all the cleaning... Beds were ok but pillows were basically flat. The “free breakfast” was a couple tiny rolls that might run out quickly.
But...the front desk staff were great! So helpful in getting us info, talking on the phone with our next hotel, translating for us. They were really friendly and kind!
Bottles of water were provided daily in the rooms. There was always free snacks and drinks in the lobby, even a free cup of noodles at night (helpful after restaurants closed). Very few seats by the checkin desk, but on the ninth floor there was a common area with tables.

it wouldn't be what is considered a traditional hotel since they are only one floor of the building. Not fully staffed at times and if it isn't you can go-to the other branch in Xinending area. I appreciate the location price and nice room but not huge room. I got a window view and a bathtub. clean and very friendly to work with and responded to my emails quickly especially I was worried my reservation might get cancelled because of the typhoon delay. Overall great value and location for the money.

Nice decoration by the hotel staff as it’s our anniversary. They also meet our request for bath tub room, which they did mention upon availability and prior to guest who book directly. Great hotel, the staff are extremely helpful and kind. Very well manner. It’s definitely worth staying. However the only con is this hotel doesn’t have the whole building by themself. So locating the hotel is kinda challenging.

Muzik Hotel locates at Ximending which is nearest to MRT Ximen Station, Exit 6.
There are several ways to get there from Taoyuan airport:
1. You can take bus, #1819, from airport to Taipei Main Station, and take the MRT to Ximen station.
2. You can also take the MRT directly from airport to Taipei Main Station, and transfer from Taipei Main Station to Bannan line (blue line), then take one more station to Ximen station.
The cost for public bus for each is around NTD$125, and for MRT is around NTD$160.
The traveling time from Airport to Taipei Ximending for public bus takes about 1 hour, and for MRT takes about 45 mins.
For travelers with large amount of luggage, you can also take a taxi to hotel when you arrive Taipei Main station, and the cost is approximately NTD$100.
