This hotel is great location you can take a walk from ximen station exit 6 around 400 m. and the hotel located near NET store that you can buy a cheap cloth. Good location, friendly staffs and a pantry at lobby area to fill your teas and coffees needs. It helps to have free croissants in the mornings and a dining table at the pantry area. I booked a room for 3pax, and the room is nice and comfy. However, the room layout has the attached bathroom door facing the bed, instead of facing the corridor. The bathroom door is made of frosted glass, so if anyone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night & switches on d bathroom lights, the bedroom becomes very bright and may affect light sleepers. I had a pleasant stay at the hotel! It wasn't perfect but there were no major inconveniences. Free water water, coffee, and tea were nice (located at reception floor). In the room, the refridgerator, aircon, and dehumidifier were all working.
The hanging rack for clothes could have been placed somewhere else as to not block the TV. However, I had been out for most of my stay anyway and didn't use the TV at all.
The staff were patient with me as I spoke none of the local languages. I arrived quite early (11 am) and check in time was at 3 pm. They let me leave my luggage at reception which gave me some time to stroll around Ximending while waiting.
The shower head holder in my room was a little loose but wasn't really a problem.
Overall, it was a nice and convenient spot for me. Ximending was right around the corner. Sanrio themed 7 eleven was across the street. The metro station was a short walk away.

Sadly I cannot give a glowing review of this hotel. In a word - disappointing
Previously stayed at a nearby location of Muzik and its sister hotel click multiple times in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and reviewed them. Excellent hotels
The level of cleanliness and general condition of the hotel is mediocre at best. I suspect Covid has forced them to postpone proper maintenance. Bathroom was in desperate need of attention.
You should also be aware they DO NOT clean the rooms or provide extra towels or amenities. Again this is due to covid but you do need to be AWARE of this
On the positive side location is great right up the street from the #6 exit from the Ximen Station on the Blue line of the Metro and is one stop from the Taipei Central station which takes you to the airport

Overall accurate to descriptions on the web. Shower is heated with good water pressure. Cleaning is not daily if not staying over a week. One staff out of about 10 we met was a bit grumpy during night shifts. Not cheap but mostly worth it for its location

Musik hotel is just minutes away from Ximen walking street and very convenient to shopping and eateries. However there is construction going on within the building. The hotel rooms are all on level 6, and the noise from level 2 construction is very audible, and will go on from 9am - 6pm. Aircon doesn’t work well and room can get stuffy.

It's a very good hotel. The front desk service is very good and any problems can be solved quickly. I have stayed here many times and have been satisfied with the service every time. Take airport train to Taipei Main Station for 150 NTD equal to around US$5. 40 mins train ride. Transfer to Blue Line MRT one stop to Ximen. Hotel is 5 mins walk from Ximen station.

I hope it won’t be too late to reply you.
There is no direct transportation you can take from TY airport to hotel unless you can the airport express to Taipei city station and the metro from Beimen to Ximen. It takes around 1 hr 15 mins, vice versa for hotel to airport. The fare is around 200NT for each if I didn’t rmb it wrong.
You can ask the hotel to prepare car for you from hotel to airport which I think is quite convenience as it can directly door to door for you to go to airport. The cost depends on the number of passengers and the size of the cars you choose.
