Howard Beach Resort delivers excellent service from assisting us with our booking ( we had a problem with our online booking), providing our dogs with a nice place to rest (too small though, I would suggest a bigger room for big dogs like ours), excellent...More
We have been staying in Howard Beach Ressort three days and we really liked it. Yes, this hotel has seen better days and especially the outside area of the hotel needs some maintenance. Some of the outside areas seem to be not in use anymore...More
Location is great. Room is fine, I slept well. Staff are nice. However, overall, this place is a perfect case study for what happens if you do not constantly invest in your product. What was probably palatial at one time, is simply run down. The...More

Right after I replied your question, a question of mine came to me. I wonder if you are aware that this hotel is on the bay side but not right on the ocean. it takes a short walk through a tunnel under the main street to reach the beach. It should not spoil your fun after all. For that being said, a suite with ocean view is important. In additions, I would not chose a villa with a play pool if I had a 1 year old with me for the safety reason.
