Was served by Elly upon our arrival. She’s so pro-active, sincere and friendly!! She asked if it was our first visit to Taichung and when we said yes, she immediately took initiative to share with us what we could explore in the vicinity. In fact, every staff we interacted with at the reception and restaurant were friendly and provided service from the heart.
Room was small but cosy. No problem fitting in two 28” luggages. Basic amenities provided - toothbrush, toothpaste, hairdryer, dental floss, razor, cotton swabs, comb, shower cap, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, moisture cream lotion, kettle, 2 bottles of water and even a small packet of doritos! Comfy king sized bed with 4 pillows provided in the room we booked. USB ports available in the room. Quite challenging to toggle between the shower head and rain shower. Great selection of blue-ray movies available!
Breakfast is located in the basement. No lift access to basement. You need to climb the stairs. Variety is limited but tasty. Love the 卤肉饭!!! We had 3 breakfast there and the spread varied across the 3 days.
Laundry room located at level 1. There are 4 washing machines and 4 dryers for guests to use for free. Washing powder is available at no charge as well. Steam iron and flat iron are available for use in the laundry room.
The hotel is located just beside Taichung station and is relatively near Taichung bus terminal (where u can take a bus fm Taoyuan international airport to Taichung). There are bus stops in the area with buses that bring u to dakeng hiking trails, yizhong night market, fengjia night market, parkland by cmp etc. Taroko mall is just 5mins walk fm the hotel and there’s a 24hr carrefour located at the basement. Daiso and poya also available in the mall. Family mart is nearby. There’s a taxi line just outside the family mart nearest to the hotel.
Definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to our family and friends!

I had a memorable 3 nights stay in this hotel from 17th to 20th in room 1005. Everything from arrival to departure was well taken care of.
1) Front office staffs were extremely helpful and they were attentive to my doubts. At the lobby, there's complimentary coffee, milk tea and snacks.
There's even a business centre, kids area, washing machine and dryer which suits all kinds of travellers.
2) Upon request, I was assigned to the room with a high floor and city view. It was amazing. Housekeeping staffs did an extremely good job in tidying up our room and even tied up our cables neatly.
3) I wrote a feedback before checking out and the duty manager spoke to me about it personally. I feel touched and valued. As I'm a hotelier, I'm sincerely grateful to all staffs who went the extra mile to cater to my needs. A 5 star service indeed!!
I will definitely choose to stay here again if I'm visiting Taichung again!

Wife and I were here for 2 nights in Dec.
This hotel was located right next to the train station. So convinient. The bus right outside the hotel basictly takes you to everything Taichung also.
Our check in was perfect. The ladies were friendly and helpful. We were given a room facing the street, yet there was no noise at all from outside or people in the hallway all 2 nights. Our room was clean and comfortable. WiFi worked great throughout our stay. One star short of 5 because there was no where to put our luggages and stuff. I think they need some space utilizations at least have a luggages area. Thankfully we travel light so we sort of convert the table into our luggage rack.
We didn't get their breakfast but there are plenty of breakfast places near by such as 三佳早點 next to Park City Hotel. They had a free laundry room which we fully utilized. At the lobby, they also have free milk tea, chocolate or coffee with some cookies and snacks.
Overall it was a great place, and we will be back.

Nice, modern, bright ambiance.
Each floor has a unique design/theme creating a pleasant mood.
Staff are attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous.
Though room though is not that huge but it is well equipped with light switch touch panel, writing table, chair, kettle, full length mirror and open concept clothes hanger.
Smart TV so sound and picture is crystal clear, with many English channels.
Room and toilet are super clean, no mold or dark spots, complete toiletries are provided.
Another plus for me since I stayed almost a month, they provide self-service laundry, dryer and ironing facilities, use of water dispenser, wet pantry, microwave, coffee machine and cold tea dispenser all for free and located at the ground floor.
Convenient walk to Taichung railway station, Taroko Mall (they have McDonald’s, supermarket, Daiso) and many more shops.

We stayed for 1 and 2 nights separately at this hotel in November. We stayed one night here and then left our luggage to visit Sun Moon Lakes for 2 days and then came back and stayed for 2 more nights. The staff were really nice and held our luggage for us for two nights. The front desk is usually manned by 3-4 people and they are so friendly and helpful. Even if you call the front desk from the room, they always pick up at the first ring.
The front staff will organize taxis and book them for you. The hotel has a lounge area, small kitchen and a library area and we saw people making their dinner noodles and working on laptops there. They have free washer dryers which is a big plus and we did use them on two occasions.
The location of the hotel is great, just 2 minutes from the train station and you can walk with your luggage to the hotel. It was very helpful for us to catch the morning trains. It is close to the Miyahara Ice Cream Shop and Zhongxiao Night Market. We also walked to Chun Shui Tang, the restaurant where boba tea was invented.
It has grocery stores nearby and a mall too, which we did go to. The neighborhood around the hotel is not fancy though and after 8 almost all the stores were shut down and though it was perfectly safe, I was a bit uncomfortable walking alone back from the night market at 9.30pm because everything was closed down in the side streets and it was deserted. It is an area with a lot of contrasts. We did drive thru the Xitun area of Taichung and definitely the vibe there and here seemed different.
The rooms itself were pretty small and a little hard to open two big suitcases, but we managed. The beds were fine. Breakfast is ok, but not too many options for vegetarians. The kitchen staff are really friendly though.

I stayed for one night on 7 Feb. After I left Taichung on 8 Feb, I noticed there was a missed call in my hand phone. Later I found out that the hotel staff was trying to contact me as they had found a pair of earphones in my room. Although the earphones didn’t belong to me, I’m still impressed by their professionalism in taking the trouble to make an international call to contact me.

The location is excellent. There is a parking lot. Although it is next to the station, the sound insulation is very good. You can sleep comfortably at night without hearing the sound of the train.
The price is economical and affordable. You can't find anything with such perfect service near Taichung Station at the same price.
The breakfast is exquisite and diverse (coffee, fresh milk, bread, vegetables, fruits, porridge, soup, and many hot foods)
The lounge area in the lobby is clean and bright (with free coffee, tea, sink, and microwave)
The room is spacious for business people (can accommodate a large suitcase)
Snacks are provided in the room (potato chips, caramel biscuits, tea bags, canned water)
Bathroom equipment and utensils are also very clean (no mold)

I cannot praise the staff enough. They are helpful, proactive, perky, courteous, and multilingual. They make this cute hotel a 5 star. The facility is compact and economical, but the other major draw of this stay was its proximity to the TRA... literally walk 20 meters and hang a left. There are plenty of places to grab a bite.
Breakfast was included with our stay. The spread had enough variety. Although the public elevator doesn't reach the dining area, the staff took it upon themselves to offer the staff elevator to ferry my elderly mom. (They made an observation about my mom's mobility and were so attentive!)
On the 1st floor, there are free full-sized laundy machines and detergent, self service kitchen area with coffee, tea, and dish detergent, computer access, and magazine nook. The walls are brightly painted and fun (reminds me of Ren and Stimpy). Each floor has a decor theme. Our bathroom had natural light and the sleep area was efficiently windowless. The front desk offered concierge service for a tour to Rainbow Village, Miyahara, National Theater, shopping Village, Gomei Wetlands, and the cultural village. I highly recommend this tour. It will drop you off at the Feng jia night market or back at the hotel. This is a Taipei based chain and I would definitely stay here or try one of their other facilities based on this experience.

Really near to the train station, and the staff service is outstanding. Ruby warmly recommended us a number of places to visit on our first day at TaiChung. Had an incident with the toilet not flushing well, but that was because we flushed toilet paper down when we were not supposed to. Linda promptly assisted us and even gave us the option of changing rooms! (Take note that the building does not support flushing of TP). Housekeeping staff Wanling and Mengying were super meticulous and exceeded our expectations in tidying our room during our stay.
The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel has a laundry and dryers as well (4 of each), which is greatly appreciated. At the lobby there are drinks to be had and also a weighing scale for the luggage, for those interested.

1st:
1. Using the escalator of No.5、6 exit on High Speed Rail Taichung Station Lobby Floor to Bus Transfer
Station on 1st floor.
2. Toward No. 6 exit and take City Bus on No. 18~20 platform.
3. Bus comes approximately every 10 minutes and spends nearly 50 minutes to reach Taichung Train (rail)
Station.
1.Towards No. 3 exit on High Speed Rail Taichung Station Lobby Floor to Taiwan railway Xinwuri train station.
2. Take shuttle train to reach Taichung Train Station.
3. Spend nearly 10 minutes by train to Taichung Train Station 70 shuttles per day.
