We could enter the room a hour before the actual check-in time. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed.
They provide shampoo and body wash in big bottles, so they don't spill lots of plastic and the products itself.
We got a room without a window, not a problem but it made the air a bit stuffy and it looks like the air circulation could fix that problem enough. But it is clean and I have seen no problems caused by it or any mold or so.
On the first floor they provide coffee out of a coffee bean machine, for free! No charge at all, but notice it is just for inside use. They also have three washers and dryers you can use, guess what.. for free!
If you have any questions about whatsoever, they are really eager to help you. I had a withdraw money problem at the ATM and they called the bank for me, came to our room for extra information and helped me with a right solution. But they also helped with questions in the restaurants and to do's in the neighborhood. A special thanks to Ores for all her help.
The hotel is on a nice spot. You can walk to the nightmarket Ningxia, KFC is right on the other side of the street, metro/train is nearby and easy accessible.
If I go to Taipei again, this will be the place to sleep at.
There's a kitchen on the first floor which has a great coffee machine and snacks throughout the day, and instant ramen during the evenings. The location is second to none (5 min walk from Taipei Main Station and 10 mins from Zhongshan shopping district) and you're spoiled for choice if you want to order food.
Overall it's great value for the price and I have to say I was really surprised by how good the facilities and quality of my stay were, esp since it was so cheap.
Special shout out to Lily who checked me in and helped me out with all my misc requests during my first few days. Also Sam, Jay, Joanne, Emma, Julia and the team for making my stay in TPE a memorable and fond one.
Everything at the hotel is of top standard, clean and well-maintained. They did few renovations and made the hotel looked even wider and cozy. Staff there are well-trained with top service. Greeting each time when we pass by, reminding the weather changes and provided us umbrella before the rain pour down. I love the free laundry downstair and we don't need to bring that many clothes and we can wash our clothes anytime during the trip. The staffs even helped us putting clothes to dryer when we forgot to do so.
Kitchen area is one of our favorites as well. They offer free cookies, coffee, tea and cold drinks from the machines. Even the instant noodles for night snacks if you feel hungry during the night. So lovely and yummy. There is microwave, toaster oven and they also prepare reusable plates, cuttery and cups in case you like to heat up foods or fruits.
The hotel location is great! Walking distance to Taipei Main Station, that can get you almost any places by MRT, HSR, Train, bus and taxi as well. You don't hear much noisy in the room, even the hotel is on a busy street.
Special thank you shoutout to Sam Chen! We met Sam 4 years ago when we stayed at CityInn. I am so glad he is still there when we came back this time. The moment I confirmed my flight going back to Taiwan, I shared the info. with Sam. He reminded me when the online booking for our trip open and also gave us the early bird booking code to get more discount. Sam kept updating me the booking status and asking if any further assistant we need during our trip. He even prepared gifts for my son. That's really sweet of him.
Though I have choice to stay at my brother or sister's house every time when we travel back to Taiwan, we still decide to stay at CityInn as it make us feel more like home during our trip in Taiwan. We will definitely come back again in the near future. Thank you all for the amazing hospitality and made our stay a pleasant trip.!!
Choose the cheapest bedroom without windows, clean and clean, reasonable size, can open the two of the 28 inch luggage at the same time, the room has all the basic equipment, laundry supplies, towels, coffee tea bags, two packs of small snacks added daily.
In the public areas there are coffee machines, i.e. water heater, stove, microwave, washing machine, dryer, and after 10 p.m. there are also free cups of bread for the night
Finally, my most appreciated attitude to the staff of the hotel was to answer about Taipei tourism information. Two nights too late to the hotel to wash clothes, the staff actively helped dry clothes, let's rest early and continue the journey tomorrow, very careful!
Stayed 8 nights, 2 weekends included Average HK$800 per night High overall price ratio Very recommended!
The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room surprisingly quiet being as it fronts onto a major road.
It was an easy walk to the metro and to several restaurants as well as the Ningxia night market.
The hotel transfers were well priced and very comfortable-much easier than lugging your bags through the streets to the airport express which we originally planned to do. We had a great stay!
Staff at the hotel is very friendly. Gave me advice on where to watch countdown and even gave me warm packs.
Room is very cosy for 1 pax with free video on demand. However changing need to be done outside e shower area hence it May be a problem for 2 Travelers. Cup noodles are provided after 10pm and there is free self- service laundry! Even tho hotel does not provide breakfast, feel free to approach the staff to ask for breakfast recommendation. They gave me a very good recommendation.
Overall I highly recommend this hotel for solo travellers.
In a hotel in Taiwan, I experienced excellent arrangements and service. From the moment I entered the hotel lobby, I felt a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff greeted me and directed me to the check-in desk, they greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome.
Upon entering my guest room, I was immediately struck by its comfort and thoughtful furnishings. The room had a large comfortable bed with soft pillows and high quality sheets which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The furniture and decorations in the room display exquisite design and taste. The scenery outside the window is also very pleasant. I can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the city or the natural scenery.
The hotel also provided me with a range of amenities and services. They provided fast wifi which made it easy for me to get online in the room. I also enjoyed the full bathroom facilities, including a spacious shower, fluffy bath towels and high quality toiletries.
The hotel's food and beverage service is also excellent. Breakfast provided a variety of delicious choices, from traditional Taiwanese specialties to international buffets, which satisfied my taste. Their restaurant has an elegant environment and attentive service, which made me feel happy and satisfied during my meal.
In addition, the hotel also provides facilities such as fitness center, swimming pool, business center, etc., so that I can fully enjoy my stay. The staff was always ready to help and I was impressed with their professionalism and friendly manner.
Overall, I had a very pleasant and memorable stay at this hotel in Taiwan. Their elegant setting, attentive service and comfortable rooms made me feel right at home. This experience left me with a very positive impression of this hotel and I look forward to staying again in the future.
