Hideaway Villas are a set of quaint Private Villas that offer a relaxing place of stay for the on the go Traveler . We are a family of three traveling back to Australia from Two Months in a European winter staying in Bali for 6 nights. We found The Villas Modern clean & present an outlook into the Balinese Jungle with Ocean views in the distance away from the noise of traffic great to relax & unwind . The Private pool to all Villas is Great, Spa Massage for 2hrs is reasonably priced at $180 Aud for 3 . We used the in house Transportation (Modern ,Air Con, SUV ) to Ubud /Jimbaran / & around Ulawatu all though slightly more costly then local taxi services ,at $12Aud an hr with a private Chauffeur . We found the security & freedom of having a Friendly Chauffeur driver taking us around very relaxing ( Ask for Regi ) & avoiding the stress of dealing with Bali's hectic traffic. Be Sure not to get trapped into a Minimum of 4hr service at 121Rup an Hr. If you are clear that you only wish to have the transportation for 1-2hrs to explore other areas at the beginning of your stay they will honor that request & you will not be charged the Minimum of 4hrs. The Staff are All Friendly & will do there utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible . Dining menu is limited & is fine for your first night. Suggest exploring other options on a nightly Basis. Overall Experience was what we where after , Somewhere Quite Modern Clean with all the Mod Cons & Very Friendly staff after living out of a suitcase for 2 months.

We stayed for 8 days with an infant, the people and facilities were exceptional. We employed the services of Regi, a driver, for two days and he was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help! The chefs prepared a meal based on our request and the staff were accommodating to our every need.
I'll also quickly address some of the critical reviews I have noted on Google/trip advisor, with what the villas have done to enhance the service. Breakfast was really good, I found the variety perfect, the driveway was a standard Bali road until the property, then it was amazing! Lined with bamboo trees and well maintained. The staff were very prompt in cleaning after meals (if informed of meal service being finished) and other amenities (including repairs etc).
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Hideaway Villas and will stay there again if I return to Bali!

We stayed here 4 nights. The rooms have excellent views and the property is quiet and peaceful. Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating towards any needs. We really enjoyed getting to know Ari, Pandi, Regi throughout our stay.
As for the villa itself, (ours was in the main building where reception/restaurant/spa are located) it was amazing to have the pool with the views I just wish there was a small balcony or outdoor space to sit without having to be inside the pool. Alternatively, having complimentary floaties available could help that situation so you could sunbathe without being completely inside the pool. (right now they are available but you have to pay for them).
Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Hideaway. We would definitely recommend it and would also return. We rented a Moto to get to the beach and to the supermarket quickly- would also highly recommend doing that as well.

It is a good hotel with nice rooms but not the best food, we have a driver from the hotel called Aka, he was the best, he drove us everywhere we wanted and he also came up with ideas, really nice, polite and very honest person, he was just the best, in the end it was like we wouldn't bother going out if he wasn't at work. If any of you need a driver from the hotel, then I think you should say AKA that's his name. We had paid for breakfast when we booked the hotel, when we saw one day eating breakfast, we get to decide we have to pay after the first plate, apparently it is just one plate that is free, it was just rubbish.

For all you world travelers out there, I'll make an analogy that hopefully everyone can relate to. Hideaway Villas Bali is like the budget airline of Villas, but with better customer service. Everything seems great at first. The villas are modern, clean, and literally hidden away from everything. The staff is very friendly and attentive. However, something seems not quite right and you quickly realize that everything comes with a cost.
Want to get some nasi goreng from the restaurant? It's at least triple the cost of anywhere else and will only be half as tasty. Need a ride to the main road on their golf cart? That'll be 100k rupiah for a 2 min ride. Want an airport transfer? It's going to cost you 300k rupiah. For comparison, we got a separate ride from the property to the airport at the end of our stay for 80k rupiah. They were literally trying to charge us more than that for a quick ride to the end of the road. These are just a few of the examples.
The whole thing had a very western, capitalistic, resort feel. Maybe that's what you're looking for and, if so, then this place might be just right. You can pay for airport pickup/drop off, have your meals made on property, get a spa, hang out at your villa pool, and generally have everything taken care of without leaving. For us, we visited Bali to experience a different culture, not a Balinese take on an all-inclusive resort, so we were a little underwhelmed.
It all depends on what you're looking for, so hopefully this helps a few fellow travelers with their decision to stay or not to stay at this property.

According to the name, the location is pretty far from the main road. Which is good. Making the resort quiet and comfortable.
The living room is an open space giving a good breathing room to relax.
The kitchen is pretty well equipped. The cutleries and cookwares are on request. Surprisingly they provide espresso machine as well.
The bedroom have a very big and comfortable bed. Sleeping two adults and a toddler still leave you some space to roll around. Safe deposit box also provided.
The bathroom is pretty spacious with big bathtub and separate shower. The toiletries awe me as they used the branded one. Instead of the usual cheap ones.
The pool is pretty big, just the downside is the water sometimes flow to the entrance stair when the drainage flooded. No shower outside. So you have to go back to the bathroom to shower yourself after swimming.
The breakfast are delicious. Haven't tried the restaurant menu. But it seems good as well.
Last but not the least. The staff are warm and welcoming. Everyone greets us with a big smile. They happily help us with any request, even on our prearrival.

Amazing villas with pool and sea view, very near to OMNIA. Staff are very friendly and professional.
Cleanliness is amazing and the maintenance of poll also includes.

The photos are very impressive, and so it is easy to be drawn into thinking that this is a luxurious resort worth staying at (as we were!), It is not.
The rooms are tired and dated. Admittedly, with gorgeous views. The 2 bedroom villa adopts a wonderful inside outside feel - but note that this means nothing locks. The sitting room and kitchen are completely open (no doors between them and the garden). The sliding door out to the garden from the master bedroom has no lock, and we were not initially provided with keys for the master bedroom. When we went to bed, therefore, we found that the entire villa was completely open to the garden - which made us feel most uncomfortable and unsafe. Whilst I’m sure it was a very safe area, we still wanted to be able to lock the door at night. We went to reception to request a key for the master bedroom, only to find that there was no one at reception. This was a common theme. The place is ridiculously understaffed. There was no one at reception when we arrived. It took us asking the chef and about 15 minutes for someone to arrive to check us in. Admittedly, the receptionist was absolutely amazing. He was the only reason that I will rate Hideaway two, and not one stars. He was what held the place together. He acted as a receptionist, a waiter, a barman, I even saw him help out in the kitchen. When we started wondering around late at night to try and find someone at reception about finding a key to lock the master bedroom (note, we were given the key to lock the door, but not the sliding door) he came out from what I believe must have been his room in the basement to help us. He was fabulous - but a hotel of this size should not rely on one individual. It is a hotel that has a lot of potential, but it is so poorly managed that it is a wasted property that is disappointing to its customers.

I live in Bali 6 months a year. I recently stayed at Hideaway in Uluwatu, and this has by far been the best place I have stayed at by far.
We booked the 1 bedroom deluxe pool suite for 1 night. I can’t even explain how nicely set up the room is, how you can literally jump into the infinity pool from your bathroom or living room, and how relaxing the views are with the valley into the ocean.
When we arrived, they were still preparing the room for us. So they offered us a complimentary 15-minute massage which was amazing, and a really nice gesture.
We had a slight hiccup with the air-conditioning (not abnormal in Bali). As soon as I let the team know, they were at the room within 20 minutes and had resolved it for us, and also offered us a later checkout as compensation. It wasn’t needed, but it was extremely appreciated.
Whenever we wanted food or amenities, they were at our door within minutes. However, they also respected our space, and we didn’t see them apart from when we asked for them.
I also accidentally left my pillow at the resort. I sent a gojek there to pick it up, and Hideaway had already double-wrapped it in plastic to protect it on the trip home.
I can honestly say that the customer service given by this team lead by Diasta was the best I’ve had in Bali.
We will definitely be returning again, and I strongly recommend you stay there if you get a chance.

I also went through the same process, did seem odd but after staying at the hotel nothing is unusual about the place. In saying that I did not make the payment due to the link not working at the time, so I paid on arrival.
yes there is. as AlexYap01 mentioned. u have to get a transport out. easier to book a grab/gojek as it is quite affordable unless you have booked a private hire. the villas in uluwatu are usually deep inside which have security checks.
I don’t have th exact sizing but it’s quite comfortable swimable size. There is a difference between two bedroom suite and one bedroom villas. Two bedroom pool size is abt 20-30%bigger.

We have gym area together with our Spa suites and equipped by treadmill, spin bike, abdominal bench, and dumbbells.
The hotel provides chauffeur service at additional cost to escort you anywhere on island. There are some good restaurants near by the property that we can recommend however if you wish to visit Kuta or Seminyak which provides extensive options, there will be about USD 28 per car per way.
