Alamanda offers great accommodation for a great price. The villas are basic and the outdoor bathrooms are done very well. I found our villa clean and dry. We liked the gardens. It's very green and it was always nice walking into the villas after a day out. Bingin Beach is a 5min walk from the villas. Bingin Beach has a... More

If you are looking for somewhere cheap and sleep is all you really care about, then this is the place. Close to the beach, fantastic hospitality and quiet. I found the owners of this cute place to be so sweet. Don't expect as 24/7 hour service but they serve great banana pancakes, clean swimming pool and quiet sleep. Very trustworthy... More

Bungalow is really well located, right next to the path that leads down to the beach. Also close to rend cafe/hangout the Cashew tree. Bungalow is not super cheap but good value for location and you get aircon and wifi. Would recommend this bungalow to someone on a budget but looking for pleasant accommodation near the beach. Booked through Bali... More

We stayed here two years ago (via Bali Retreats) and were happy with the location and price and so booked again. We were travelling as 2 families of 2 adults and 2 kids each and so we had booked both family bungalows. Our rooms were clean and comfy. The air con was great and we didn't have any problems with... We stayed at Alamanda for 6 nights, never again, could not wait for the six days to pass.We booked through Bali Retreats, paid up front, however our flights were delayed and we missed a day, Bali Retreats were not willing to refund us either. The rooms are dark, they did not change our bath towels for the entire stay, breakfast... More

We booked to stay here over Christmas 2013 and new years 2014. Part of our group arrived before Christmas and couldn't even stay there until Christmas due to the lack of internet and unhygienic nature of the rooms. Both would have been acceptable if we had truly paid a budget price, but for exactly the same price there were many... More

I don't usually leave reviews and am only doing so in the hope others won't stay here. We paid $50 a night and prepaid for two weeks. We moved out after two nights and forfeited our stay as we weren't going to get any refund or relocated. There was a group of us (7) here and we all felt the... More

Alamanda is a pleasant little compound above the cliffs of Bingin Beach. I did a bit of research and this place for $50 AUD is very good. I love this beach. Alamanda really is very close to the beach. Up the steep steps, past the warungs, over the garbage... turn left and it's just there on the right. It is... More

At the price-point, this place delivers exactly what you would expect - no less, and no more. Our room was mostly clean, airy (though a bit dark - bring a head torch if you want to read in bed at night) and the air-conditioning and hot water were in working order. The outdoor bathroom design is a great feature, showering... More
