My husband and I started our Honeymoon at Boho Bingin Beach. We spent 4 nights here and could easily have stayed longer. With the loveliest, kindest staff, we felt so welcome and relaxed. Our room was spacious, clean, cool and wonderfully designed with modern and traditional Balinese touches. My favourite aspect was the window over the pool with vines draping outside, creating a jungle like feel.

The shared dining and pool area was always so peaceful. Each day started with a delicious, colourful and tasty breakfast. Lounging by the pool could easily take up the whole day. We rented a scooter from Boho and spent the afternoons cruising around to local beaches.

Dinner menu is awesome with local and international delights. Recommend the jack fruit curry with chicken.

Loved our stay. Couldn’t be happier. Thankyou so much Boho!

The hotel had lots of sitting areas, unique furniture, and felt like Bali. Yoga class was a 5 minute walk and was a fantastic class. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable and assisted us in booking a trip to see the Komodo Dragons. The Bin Gin beach which is the closest beach could use a few more sun umbrellas and chairs. If you like funky you will enjoy this hotel.

The hotel is cleaned and the staff is very friendly.
It has a good location and atmosphere.
The swimming pool area is very pleasant.

The downside was that we needed some help at night, 10pm, there is no one at the reception to help us to get a taxi to the hospital ( my wife got Bali belly). We counted on the help of a guest that appeared…

We move to Boho to live for one month for a expensive rate consider that we are in Covid times and most of the properties around has very cheap rates. The second night we slept in the flat inside the hotel there was water coming from all the roof above all the beds in the flat. I had to invade one of the rooms downstairs to be able to have a dry bed to sleep. We requested our money back to be able to move out but the owner said it was out of his policy. He offered us an extra week instead but the construction noises and men in our room was there almost every single day throughout a month. We had to keep on leaving and paying other places to be able to be at peace.
The whole place is pretty much run down!
I would not recommend this hotel!

Response from Casaviva Bali, Owner at BoHo Bingin Beach Bali
Responded Feb 17, 2021
Dear Beta, You are absolutely correct that we offered you an extra one week of free rent for the fact that there were some leaks in the roof due to the violence caused by one of the worst storms in recent history (anyone reading this review please Google: Bali urgent weather warning). Such extreme weather conditions fall within "force majeure" and are out of our control. Therefore we actually resisted pressure from other property owners who asked us NOT to give any compensation so that they would not be pressured to do so as well. Literally every property we knew had leaking roofs and some were even flooded! The only reason we offered you 7 free nights was because these are hard times and we thought it would help your finances. Oh, and we fixed the leaks in less than 4 days despite the risks of doing so on a slippery roof during crazy rains! We had no surprises upon reading your piece of creative writing posing as a review because during these five weeks we got to know you as the most petty and capricious guest we ever hosted...Thankfully, you are the exception to the rule and we are delighted to host a super friendly and positive community of long-term guests who have made BoHo their home during these COVID times.

Could’ve been amazing, in a lovely spot but needs a massive makeover. Our bedroom door didn’t lock, we were greeted by multiple frogs, lizards, spiders in our room, paid for an extra bed which was a crusty old mattress put on the floor. When moved room (due to the wild life and the mattress on the floor) I was put into a suite up the stairs, which used a plank of wood across the doors to “lock” it. This is expensive accommodation and certainly not worth it. The breakfast was ok, we checked out early and were refunded easily enough. The pool looks beautiful, but is very green/unclean. I don’t know if covid is maybe to blame for the hotel but it’s a shame to see such a property with so much potential be in such a state.

In it's heyday this must have been a wonderful place but it's clearly struggling.
The pool was green, the bar sold only small Bintang beers, toilet rolls were in short supply, the sliding doors onto our patio were broken, there was no kettle and no restaurant, not even breakfast, and worst of all, no bumgun. The hotel and its guests deserve better, but for now it's not recommended.

Deluxe room with a sea view that was so tiny in the far distance between the trees. Shared amenities area, power points didn't work, coffee percolation, no plunger, no cups and $200 a night!!! Cleanliness also poor. Not at all as advertised on Booking.Com including poor quality towels and no TV

We tried 3 rooms amongst our family. One was great the others were a nightmare! Humide, problems with ac, no hot water.
They have a well rounded scam so you don’t comment on bookings… and we got done with thinking the place is ok.
Stay away from it if you can! Manager ( Mateo) pushes air around to look busy but is totally inefficient beside maybe chatting to young ( female) travelers. Didn’t bother introducing himself to us even though we were staying for a week…
Rather cheap, that’s about the only good thing the place has going for itself.

We had the most incredible stay at Boho. We were a family of 7 and stayed for 9 full days. It became a home. Baku, the manager, Indra, the owner and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay one to remember. Clean, beautiful decor and plenty of space to relax. Breakfast also 10/10!! We will definitely be back!
