We stayed here overnight last night and had a great time - our weekend was cut short only by the likelihood of bad weather. We were greeted by friendly staff at the entrance kiosk and then allowed to pick a space to pitch our tent. The site is HUGE and made up of many fields, all of which had a... More

We stayed Friday - Sunday, we were a group of 8 adults and 9 kids. This site might not be for everyone as it is quite loud but it was fine for us. We all managed to pitch together, got logs from the guy that drives around and had a campfire every night, people do play music sometimes a bit... More

We arrived on Friday afternoon. It was very busy but we had pre booked for electric hook up. Site was clean and tidy. Seemed to be a bit of a mixture of campers and permanent pitches. Evening was great with the option to purchase logs for a camp fire. Friendly and helpful staff, we hired an extension lead and refroze... More

We have just returned from 5 nights camping here. Arrived on the Sunday morning and was busy but lots of people were packing up. It's a large site with a choice of fields. By Monday morning we pretty much had our chosen area of the cornfield to ourselves. We had none of the problems experienced by earlier reviewers regarding hot... More

Would thoroughly recommend for families and pretty much everyone. The site is so big there is as much peace and quiet as you desire. We have been touring in our VW camper van for 6 years and have never been to a more relaxed site. The kids had a great time, beautiful walk along the river to Bodian castle and... More

We arrived on Saturday night & it was heaving...by sunday morning it had emptied out so my advice would be start your week on a Sunday so you have more choice over space and location. There were no signage to direct you to anything so on arrival can be quite difficult however easily remedied as there's not actually a lot... More

This is a fantastic, child friendly camp site with a well kept childrens play area. Camp fires are allowed and bags of wood are sold on site. Very clean and well looked after camp site. Very helpful staff. Can't recommend enough. We will definitely go back.

Told off for arriving at 10.30pm, despite having phoned ahead and been told it would be ok. Very big site but no map so difficulty finding our way around on arrival in the dark 1 toilet block for a massive campsite - 5 min. Walk from our pitch, not great in the night. Also only one water tap for the... More

It's very easy to be all negative and just complain. You need to ask yourself a question. Do you like quiet, relaxing sites, or loud multi person groups consisting of feral off spring, thumping music, and general loud mouth's? It certainly wasn't what we expected. Facilities were a little scarce for the amount of people camping at the time we... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our daughter. The campsite is very clean and well maintained and offers very great views towards Manorbier beach, which is lovely. The pitches are well spaced so you don't feel crammed in, having said that we noticed that those who were on pitches with electric hook up looked a little... More
