We ended up going to this place twice asking for availability. The owner said there was nothing available. Our friends who asked 5 minutes later did get a chalet. When I asked why we couldn't stay the guy just turned his back to us. Also the rates that are given to people if they are allowed to stay vary from...

The good thing is i got them for a good price and it looks up long beach! the beautiful blue water can be seen thoroughly from my balcony. My room is the attached-bathroom type of room so it is a little bit pricey than the shared-bathroom. No aircond, no tv, no fridge, and there is a specific time where they...

Cheap, super basic bungalows! They only had a fan so first night I had problem getting to sleep. A tip is to buy a cold water and sleep with it close to you, made it so much easier for me. Nice location, as every other hotel on the beach. Would recommend this place! If you're looking for a place to...

Lemongrass contains many basic bungalows with a bed and fan inside, a hammock and small porch. The shared bathroom facilities are very basic, so don't expect a fancy toilet that flushes by itself. The location is perfect, just away from the music during the night and only ten steps away from Longbeach. The owner is very friendly and extremely well...

We stayed here for around 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The ocean view bungalows were basic but clean and the balconies with hammocks gave a great vista over the entire beach. The owner doesn't take bookings but also doesn't take bookings. He will also apparently take people out to see the baby sharks a stones throw away but...

Very basic bungalows, shared bathroom facilities. Not fancy at all, but well-priced. Wifi doesn't work very well, but you're on the island to disconnect from the world anyway, right? Owner/manager is awesome, will lead guests on snorkeling tours to Shark Point. Masks/snorkels for rent are cheap and fairly new. Only steps to lovely Long Beach! Electric is on a generator,...

Great location on long beach. Small basic huts. Could do with some new matresses. Shared toilet and bathrooms, that were okay although never any toilet roll. Currently extending/building so lots of noise. Also the showers also run out into the sand (although this is slightly covered up) which is why we rated it lower than we would otherwise.

What can I say, this is a wonderful restaurant, the food is great, real Thai flavours as I live in Phuket Thailand I know Thai food, my Thai girlfriend and myself ate here every day sometimes twice or three times a day. The service is next to none, and they have a good selection of wine and beer. The owners...

A friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in early October after staying elsewhere on the island for a previous night. First of all the huts are very basic but ideal for what you need, two clean beds good large mosquito net and a good fan, as well as a nice decking area with chairs and hammock. The location...

Very surprised to read some of these reviews here on tripadvisor. I must say we had a very pleasant stay at lemon grass. Though you have to keep in mind that the hostel requires you to stay at least two nights and you need to pay in advance (we paid 50RM a night for one room). The chalets are basic...
