Keemala harnesses the history of fictitious ancient Phuket settlers and incorporates the story of four different clans within the resort. Keemala’s style blends the indigenous stories of the clans with the decadence of an upscale resort. The architecture is a stark contrast to most hotel accommodation. Keemala’s fantastic cottages, tree houses and pool villas are designed around the unique topographical conditions. Set into the hillside and making use of slopes offering sea views, streams, waterfalls and indigenous trees.
A significant part of the Keemala ethos is to celebrate and cultivate Thai culture. This is strongly perceived in the spa. Treatments and wellness programs are being meticulously designed to utilize bygone techniques, natural herbs used as medicinal remedies in conjunction with old-fashioned pampering. The eight treatment rooms will offer a haven of renewal and the spa will also offer a Thai massage pavilion, steam and sauna rooms along with a fitness room with views of the sea and lush topography, yoga and meditation spaces making Keemala an ideal destination for retreats.
As an extension of the wholesome spirit of Keemala, cuisine offered will also be organic and locally sourced and grown where possible. The menus will incorporate healthy, nutritious and above all delicious meals. Keemala will offer three outlets for dining, the main restaurant, a pool bar, a smaller wine cellar ideal for small parties and meetings and destination dining will be offered to those guests who would like to enjoy the ambience of somewhere distinct, perhaps beside the waterfall, in a separate sala in the grounds or in the comfort of the villa or cottage.
You have seen the photos but the reality is even better. This property is stunning. The way the rooms and facilities merge into the forest is fabulous. We are in a birds nest pool villa - huge room, huge deck and pool - great views but be aware you look down over Keemala town and the bay . They are far enough away but its not all nature. Resort pool and swim up bar and their main bar and pool are beautiful as well and all fit like a jigsaw into this architectural masterpiece. We loved it. They serve European food - average and Thai and Indian both good. Service willing and efficient and as expected. Excellent Spa All in all a perfect 3 night stay in a stunning resort. Thank you Nik and Abi
I had nothing to complain about as far as the resort quality and its service. The first impression started with the friendliness that all Keemala staffs had. For this trip, we stayed at the two storey tree-pool house (room 303). Apart from the stunning view from the pool and balcony, the room is immaculately clean (no dust at all). The breakfast was great and I could say that the taste was authentic, specifically their stirred-fried rice with wok hay.
We stayed for 3 nights at Keemala Phuket and it was by far one of our best experiences at a resort ever! The resort was magnificent, with beautiful villas overlooking the Kamala village and beach. We stayed in the tree house villa which I would definitely recommend cause of the views, upper and lower decks and outdoor shower! They served some of the best food we had in Thailand and accommodated our various requests. They were particularly friendly towards vegetarians. What stands out more than the above with Keemala is the hospitality they showed us. Our in villa host Mai Thai was a superstar and took care of us adhering to every request we had, even on her days off. She was constantly in touch with us and allowed us to have the best stay we possibly could at Keemala. Thank you very much to Mai, Keemala staff and management for making our holiday a memorable one.…
I’m blown away at the hospitality the beauty the luxury the staff the wellness and the courtesy of this top notch incredible resort . I chose to celebrate my 50th birthday here … stayed 6 nights and had the most amazing experience of my life !!!!!
Day3: Keemala: " The Bird nest paradise" Pro: 1. Manificent architecture and decoration, New experience for your stay 2. Large swimming pool to enjoy private swimming 3. Superb breakfast with variety of delicious food, and the dinner menu is not too expensive and has a good taste 4. Most of services are very good. esp. During breakfast time. Con: 1. Lack of privacy. Each hotel suite located too close to each other, you can see other couple swimming in their room. 2. Lack of beach, you can just see the beach far away from some of the hotel room. 3. The hotel located on the steep hill, so it need buggy car to transport withn the resort.
