From the reservation team to the front service team, they all worked accordingly and professionally as a good team. The service was outstanding and indeed helpful. This is not to mention about the state-of-the-art design of the hotel; minimal but luxurious. We stayed at a deluxe one-bedroom pool villa. Even it rains almost throughout our stay, the view was still breathtaking. We will definitely go back to the Naka Phuket.
Stayed here during the COVID-19 era of domestic-only travel. The resort is designed by renowned Thai architect Duangrit Bunnag in his trademark raw concrete minimalist style, consisting of over 90 cantilevered villas crammed onto a steep slope. Steep is the key word because due to the steep road gradient everybody relies on a fleet of songtaew mini-trucks to move around. Fortunately these shuttle mini-trucks are very efficient & are very quick to arrive once you call for one. The resort is located in its own secluded bay with a beachfront with a coral reef but the sea was too rough to swim in while we were there. It’s about 45 min drive from the airport, but about 10 min to Patong. Parking is valet only. We stayed in a One Bedroom High Bay Pool villa, higher up the hillside with better views. Pool is bigger than a plunge pool but still too small to swim. (For serious swimming use the 50 m common infinity pool by the beach.) The villas are spacious with a huge sofa. The door between the room & pool area locks automatically so need to bring the keycard out. Privacy is lacking since other villas can look into our pool area, and the rooms have only floor-to-ceiling glass walls. We could look into our neighbor villa and see someone lying in bed. The resort is in need of repairs, seeing from the stained concrete, peeling wood & loose/missing tiles in the pool. Service was excellent, all staff were friendly & very helpful.…
We live in Bangkok and frequently travel around the country. The Naka Phuket was a nice break. The views from the hotel and especially our room, were beautiful. Even though it was technically rainy season, the view was still stunning. The hotel had just reopened after the COVID scaredemic shut down, so there were a couple of issues, but the staff and management were absolutely responsive in every way. The food was tasty and there was a nice variety. There were plenty of things to do around the hotel so if you travel with kids, they would have something to do. The room (1BR Pool Villa) was smallish, but the private pool and balcony more than made up for it. We will definitely return on one of our next outings to Phuket.
We stayed on the highest villa with Professional service from all staffs. The villa so stunning with Phuket bay almost panoramic view if u want to stay with stunning view and contemporary chic stay we highly recommended love it
Great Example of Good Hotel and Good Staff. The front desk has been incredibly nice and helpful and was very helpful in advice on what to do in the city. Parking is adequate. Hotel was very clean as well as the room. I am impressed with double times make-up room daily. During my stay only two broken things in the rooms are Hair dryer with unsupported input at the closet zone and the brightness of the lightbulb in the living room that is too dark. They should have one brighter bulb on .
