Exclusive. Private. Beautiful villas. Spectacular views. Well appointed. Silk restaurant was fantastic! Spa was gorgeous! Treatment was heavenly! Beach is close enough to walk to but they have a free shuttle. No airport shuttle. Staff was kind but not overly friendly engaged or interested in setting up any excursions or suggesting anything in the area. This is a place you come to hide out in complete privacy, luxury & unplug! Our private penthouse rooftop infinity pool was a definite must do. There are a few upgrades that could be had- a few items that may have been helpful in the kitchen- but overall amazing place & I’d come again. The hotel pool is gorgeous much like the entire property. The beach wasn’t very clean and there were a lot of vendors and non hotel affiliated chair rentals- it did not match the resort aesthetic but was nice enough. Iconic. This is my 6th trip to Phuket - and Andara is the ultimate Thai experience. The photos do no justice to just how beautiful the space is. We booked the 2 bedroom penthouse suite, and as a family of 4 this was extremely spacious. The pool is huge, and deeper than expected. The beds were super comfortable, towels were super lush - and you need to try the bath…wow Kamala itself is perfectly quiet for that time out holiday, and close enough to Patong for shopping, markets and night life. All of our meals were delicious, and I’m fairly sure between my kids and I - we ate thousands of pancakes! The dinners were exceptional too. The staff - so beautiful. Everyone was super helpful, kind, caring and happy to go the extra mile. It was sad to see a few families behaving in a entitled manner speaking badly to the staff - yet, the staff continued to provide a high level of service and not be flustered by them. The manager took his time to say hello everyday, I think this is a special touch to feel welcomed and for the staff to know they have a leader that works ‘on the ground’ with them. A few notes I’d love to see for our next trip, the TV’s to have the ability to cast Netflix etc. it rained a few days we were there, so to watch movies would have been great. Also, not sure if this was lost in translation - but there was no milk in the fridge for morning tea/coffee. There was a 7/11 close by (free local transport provided) so I was able to buy some! We went to the restaurant SILK for dinner and it was wonderful. The service was outstanding and the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. Special mention to Wara for taking such good care of us. Will be back if we return to Phuket.

An absolutely incredible property. One of the nicest resorts I have ever seen, and its in a great location. From the staff, to the pool, to the gym, and the food. A flawless resort experience. The location is well suited to be secluded, yet close enough to reach the popular areas.

After the most wonderful stay at Andara Resort and Villas several years ago, my husband and I returned for a much anticipated second time. Thank you Andara, again, we enjoyed every moment! All the pros of staying at this stunning resort have been mentioned in other reviews including: THE RESORT - phenomenal 5+ stars; THE ROOM - large, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, clean and well equipped; THE PRIVATE POOL - we stayed in a Penthouse Pool Suite and savoured our regular swims looking out at the beautiful view; THE FOOD - ample delicious breakfasts and our meals from Silk Restaurant some of the best Thai we have ever eaten. Room service was so convenient and prompt; THE SPA - another world; THE GYM - large, spacious and very well equipped; THE SHUTTLE BUS - convenient and always readily available; THE LOCATION - close to Kamala beach and the convenience of supermarkets and amenities. However, in this review I would like to highlight and thank the wonderful STAFF at Andara who made our holiday extra special and memorable. Without fail, all staff members are friendly, courteous and excellent in their roles. There are too many to name, but we would like to highlight just a few. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Pool Suite for 5 nights, accompanied by seniors and an infant. The rooms, bathrooms, living room, kitchen and pool were all clean, spacious and luxurious. One of the best villa experiences we have had. The master bedroom/bathroom is larger, but all rooms were nice. The restaurant was also great. Thai, Italian and stakes were all delicious, also plenty of vegetarian options. They also had enough to eat for our infant. The breakfast buffet spread was not huge but had all the essentials. They even served us breakfast in our room on a couple of days. The hotel is located 5 mins from Kamala beach and the free hotel shuttle will take you to the beach and all the shops around the area (7/11, big c mart, and beach shops etc). They will wait or you can call them to come get you when you are done. It’s about 20 mins to patong beach where all the nightlife and crowd is, we preferred our location. Kamla beach was much nicer and cleaner. The view from our pool was stunning, overlooking kamala beach and the mountains. We spent most of our morning in the pool. The minibar is reasonably priced but you can get all the beer and liquor you need from 7/11 which is 2 mins away. They also have a nice coffee machine, full size fridge and all kitchen utensils. The staff and hospitality was top notch which is what you can expect in Thailand and most of Asia. Very polite and helpful staff always smiling. Their service really made our holiday perfect! One important point. The hotel is located on hills/ cliffs so it’s quite a rigorous walk from the reception/ restaurant to the rooms. They do have a buggy service that will take you to and from your room. Of all the hotels that I used the buggy service, this was by far the best. We never had to wait more than 5 mins for a buggy even when calling from our room. This was never an issue for us. Would definitely recommend to groups of families or friends. They have larger villas as well. This will be our hotel of choice for future holidays to Phuket!…

What an amazing time at Andara! We spent 4 days and got upgraded to the 3 bedroom penthouse villa, more than enough space for the 3 of us. Checking in was quick and we were walked to our penthouse while our luggage were taken there separately. After a short tour and walk, we were golf carted to our bldg. As soon as Emily opened the door and walked us in, it’s like MTV Cribs, long walkway in to a huge living room/kitchen with a balcony with a view of the ocean. Simply amazing. The rooms have vaulted ceilings with fans. Bathrooms are even bigger. There’s a walkway that led us up to our private infinity pool. It’s more than enough for us to enjoy. We are quite happy with the space and will not leave the resort the days we are here. Service - over the top perfect. Everyone is extremely nice, kind and beyond willing to help. Penthouse - extremely clean. It’s a tad older here and there but overall perfect. Relaxing - we really didn’t see other patrons most of the time. We ordered food delivery for all our dinners and only saw ppl when we went to breakfast. It’s nice not to hear families and kids crying and screaming. Most of the times we felt we owned the resort as there’s minimal ppl Food - amazing! Everything we ate was the best we’ve had. Their chicken Caesar salad is a must. Will not disappoint. Free breakfast was included. It’s sooo good. You get the buffet spread with high end food but you can also order items on their breakfast a la carte menu. Their juice bar, a must stop. We were always full until dinner each day. Their cocktails are just like how we like it. Most places in Phuket did not do a good job even with a mojito. Order a lychee daiquiri, it will NOT disappoint. Cannot rave enough about this place. They definitely go above and beyond to be at service to you. Really wished I booked more days. We spent five days in the Andara Resort in April. We booked a 2 bedroom penthouse pool suite and we were offered an alternative for the first day as there was no availability for this type of suite. The hotel is amazing perched on a cliff over the ocean, offering amazing views from everywhere. The first day we stayed in a villa with private pool. I have never been in a place so tastefully decorated, including access to our very private living dining area. Huge dressing room. Bathroom with a huge bathtub with direct views to the ocean. Huge pool. Media system to allow listening to music in the outdoor area. Amazing in a word. The two bedroom suite that we moved to the second day still had a huge dining/ living area including a complete kitchen, with coffee machine for my first morning coffees. The penthouse pool was also of a good size and the views from the roof extraordinary. Nice bathrooms. Vey confortable beds with choice of pillows. Breakfast offered a good choice of western / thai dishes , freshly made fruit juices / smoothies in a restaurant overlooking the pool. Staff very attentive, remembering my coffee choice everyday before I opened my mouth. I was travelling with kids and the hotel has a small kids club offering some activities like batik painting, pizza making etc. Don’t expect anything for all day entertainment but it is a good place for an hour activity after breakfast. Restaurant offers thai and Italian food. Good place for dinner with kids after a full day of sun and water. Main pool is very big and with very few people using it during our stay, so almost as a private pool. General Manager of the hotel Daniel is constantly liaising with guests, very accessible and very attentive to details. One night having dinner in the restaurant, service was very late with one of our dishes due to a misunderstanding. When we asked for the bill, the staff told us the General Manager have told them to invite us to dinner because of the lateness in the service. I thought it was an outstanding detail. Spa has very nice rooms and facilities and the massages were great. Obviously the prices are not the ones you find in a town massage parlour but neither is the experience. I loved it and I will return if I can. If I have to say a but, would be distance to the beach. As it is in a hill, you can walk to the beach but it at least 10 min walking along the edge of a road. It is great to hear that you were able to experience our luxurious villa with a private pool and found it to be tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We are also glad that you enjoyed our two-bedroom Penthouse Pool Suite with its large dining/living area, complete kitchen, and good-sized pool with extraordinary views from the roof. We appreciate your positive feedback about our breakfast offerings, our attentive staff, and the activities we offer at the kids club. We are happy that you found our main pool to be almost like a private pool, and we are thrilled that you enjoyed your dining experience at our restaurant, where we offer a range of Thai and Italian food. We are pleased to hear that our General Manager, Daniel, was able to make a positive impression on you and that he was attentive to details during your stay.
