The resort is located in a beautiful, green environment and offers total privacy. The architecture is stylish and blends harmoniously with nature. The whole complex is well maintained, quiet and ideal for those seeking relaxation who value luxury and exclusivity.
Accommodation – A dream of elegance and comfort
We had a pool villa with sea views and were overwhelmed. The villa was spacious, elegantly decorated and offered every conceivable comfort. Particularly impressive was the private infinity pool with spectacular views. The furnishings left nothing to be desired – from high-end furniture to luxurious linens and modern amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom with rain shower and freestanding bathtub.
Service – perfection in every detail
The service was simply spotless. The staff was always friendly, professional and incredibly attentive. Every wish was fulfilled immediately.
Culinary delights
The restaurant “SILK” offers an exquisite selection of Thai and international dishes. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh ingredients, homemade pastries and a wide range of hot and cold dishes. Especially recommended are the Thai specialties, which are authentically prepared.
Wellness & Leisure – relaxation and recreation at the highest level
The Andara Spa offers a selection of first-class treatments that ensure pure relaxation. The massages are excellent and the atmosphere absolutely calming. The modern gym is well equipped, and the large infinity pool invites you to linger. Guests can book private boat trips to explore the surrounding area in style.

Andara is one of our favorite resorts in Asia. We’ve been three times, each time being a great experience. The food is very good at the hotel which is a major plus of the resort in comparison to others in the area.
The spa is exceptional and I go back multiple times each time we visit. The gym is very good as well with good aircon, cleanliness and wide array of equipment.
The hotel has very good service all around and is helpful in booking local restaurants and activities. The location is central in Phuket which allows you to be relatively near to anything you may want to do while in the area (Patong, old town, etc)
The rooms are a good value and provide a large luxurious space when traveling with groups or a family. I would suggest the resort upgrade the TV and sound system in each villa as my one nitpick, these are very poor for entertaining purposes.

The room we rented was a two bedroom villa with a pool overlooking the bay. The villa cost was not cheap and therefore our expectations was high. The villa was spacious and equipped with a full kitchen. It is truly a villa to vacation in. While I was there I really felt like I was in a relaxing vacation. The villa and furniture is all of wood which is kept at high standard. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, and the bathrooms are of good size. The bathroom is also spacious and not fitted with a hose. The resort is big and on a hill so walking around is not an option and we reverted to using the buggy at most times. One could walk down but going back up to the villa via walking is a challenging task. The breakfast is good and the staff are very cooperative. My only comment is that they don't serve halal food. They resort offered us a complimentary dinner for me and my family which was a nice gesture. We also were able to hear the call for prayer athan while we were sitting in the balcony which was nice. The pool for the villa we were staying in was private and therefore my whole family could utilize it fully. The resort pool is huge and is nice and is located in the middle of the resort. The resort is close by to a local village with local shops and restaurants, and the resort provide free transportation. I would definitely consider coming back if they provide a halal chef and food, and install a hose in the bathroom. A reduction in the price per night would also be nice :)

This was our 5th visit to Andara, staying in a 4 bedroom pool villa.
This trip did not disappoint as Andara once again laid it on for us.
The location is ideal being just far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to the beach and into kamala itself where there is a vast array of shops, restaurants, and massage locations. And if you don't feel like walking then simply phone concierge who will pick you up and drop you off anywhere in Kamala. This is a lovely benefit for heading back at the end of the day or after dinner. Simply save the number for concierge in your phone and call when transport required.
The main resort has a huge spacious pool which never feels too busy, and the pool villas have their own huge pools.
We also made use of the partnership Andara has with one of the beach restaurants where towels and cold water are provided for guests. Just call a car to take you there (5 min ride), and they will have the loungers set up for you.
Food and beverages are good quality, and the service is excellent. It really is the staff who make it special though. Always there to assist, smiles, great service, nothing too much trouble.
Big shout out to the management also who are visible and very sociable, always keen to chat and help out.
Both restaurants, SILK, and La Seta, are both excellent and thoroughly recommended.
Andara is exclusive, high-end, but with a really relaxed, friendly vibe.
Hard to fault in any way.

My wife and I have traveled to Phuket 9 different times, and always try a new property...sometimes a resort and other times airbnb. Our hunt for the perfect property in Phuket is over. For the first time, we inquired about making a reservation for next year, BEFORE leaving the property this year.
It's not easy to achieve such a high level of service and luxury, but the Andara succeeds. And this starts with great leadership at the top. GM Daniel really sets the tone for the place, and he's assembled a great team. It's not one specific thing that they get right...it's just all of it added together equals a great stay. From the lovely service team at breakfast each morning, to the incredibly helpful security guards to the talented cooks who made each meal a treat...they made our stay fantastic.
The room/suite (Pool suite penthouse) was comfortable, private and had the right balance of luxury and practicality. Having a kitchen was such a treat, as we could stock up on a few favorites (drinks/fruits) to have each day while relaxing by the private pool.
The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable and we slept better there than we have in a long time. Having an extra bathroom (or two) is a huge benefit as well.
We rented a car as we enjoy having the flexibility to come and go as we please, and the location was perfect for us. You can walk to the beach if you want to venture out for a meal/drink, or get to other parts of Phuket with ease.
In summary, this is now our favorite property in Phuket, and we can't wait to return next year.

Our family was lucky enough to stay here for 12 nights in early April. We had a three bedroom suite which was tastefully finished with sculptures and comfortable beds, high ceilings with individual AC temperature setting in each room, a terrace overlooking the ocean and an infinity pool on a roof with the same view with loungers and a seating area. The kitchen facilities have a large fridge, a proper coffee maker and the housekeeping is exceptional and unobtrusive, coming in the morning and night for a turn down service- everything quickly was scrubbed and put away, and even the sandy floors from our trips to the beach magically disappeared. We feasted each morning at breakfast with dim sum offerings, a variety of fresh fruits and yogurts/muesli, noodle soup, pancakes and eggs, as well as freshly baked pastries and breads for children ( our children are their weight in donuts). I think what really sets and our apart is the service level. Staff are genuinely friendly, helpful, and every need (from being taken to the atm to the grocery store to the local market and numerous trips to the beach) we’re swiftly dealt with- even at hotel capacity if you walked down to the lobby and told them where you would like to go they would have someone drive you from their fleet of vehicles within minutes. Similarly if you need picking up you could just call the hotel and they would dispatch someone to pick you up within minutes. The gentleman at the gym took great care of us as well including a Thai boxing class, helping with that machines, and even setting out towels, cold water, racquets and balls fur us to play tennis. If you didn’t feel like walking to your room someone is always on hand to drive you there in one of their golf buggies. We very much enjoyed our trip to the spa with lovely massages as well. The staff at the restaurant, Silk, were similarly helpful and kind and the Thai food is some of the best I’ve ever had ( this is not my first trip to Thailand). Daniel and Christian are very visible taking time to chat to guests and see to our needs and clearly know what they’re doing. Andara, you did not disappoint! We stayed in a pool suite for ten of the most amazing days. We are a family of five and the suite was the perfect size for us with well appointed, spacious bedrooms and big bathrooms. They suite was cleaned and restocked daily. Room service were amazing, even when our kids called incessently and individually of an evening in rapid succession. Happy hour in the afternoons by the main pool offered yummo cocktails, amazing staff and views to kill for. The breakfast staff were always ready to help and teach us some Thai and the buffet was loaded with goodies for all kinds of breakfast needs. They have a very well appointed gym and they were always willing to take us back and froth to the beach and town. Book yourself into the spa while you are here. You will not regret it. The location of Andara is perfect for families. Just a short walk to Kamala Beach and the village, which was never too busy, and you can easily walk around with little kids. Honestly, the staff were some of the best I've encountered in my travels. Happy, and always, always willing to help. All-in-all, I have nothing but nice things to say. Traveled as a family (across 3 generations) and this hotel suited us extremely well. Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment style room that is huge, beautifully decorated and detailed in every way. No complaints about the quarantine time waiting for PCR results!
Each bedroom has en suite bathrooms and there is a kitchen area with cutlery, large fridge and usual minibar items. Room service is quick and of a high quality despite a bit of distance and the audio system is actually a great addition.
Note property has fewer common areas than the usual hotels (smaller pool, only 1 main restaurant) but what is there is of a very high quality with great service. No direct beach access as it is set in a hill for the views, but free 24hr buggy service takes care of any beach/restaurant/7-11 trips within the kamala area.
Note the property is set on a hillside so there are many steps+slopes, but buggies are available if needed.
Strongly recommended!

Stayed in a pool penthouse suite, which was huge and very clean. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary bottle of champagne and found the music playing in the living room to be nice and calming. Breakfast at Silk was very good as well, with the Thai food menu changing daily. We also enjoyed Thai massages at the spa, which was very clean and relaxing. The staff was excellent, and the room was maintained very well. Our only complaint was that the private chef in-room dining option was not available, as there were no available chefs for the nights we stayed there.

We liked Room 232 - exceptionally nice. A lot of space. Very well furnished and appointed. Great luxury. It's a shame that the swimming pool is on the roof and not on the ground floor but hey, that's the only thing we have to complain about the room! The bedding was great. The gym - very complete and very well equipped. The attentiveness and kindness of the staff. The overall layout of the resort which gives it a Phuket Hanging Gardens feel - a Thai marvel!
We liked it less The imposed and overpriced New Year's dinner - average entertainment, wine not included despite the exorbitant price... and the fact that everything was organized outdoors without a plan B while several showers of tropical rain fell on us this evening -there. Not only was it not up to par in a nominal scenario, we might as well tell you that we felt robbed in degraded conditions due to the organizers' lack of anticipation. We reported this but no discount was offered. Impossible to have Coke Zero or Diet Coke at the mini bar - only sweetened Red Coke… Cosmetics in the bathroom. Low-end bottles and not working well. Not crazy products. The wifi network which had a lower average speed. The fact that the hotel does not practice WhatsApp (or other) with customers for requests, information, etc.
Overall, we still loved our stay and we recommend this hotel 100%.
