In the centre of Kamala but not my favourite hotel by any stretch. Beds far too hard to get a good sleep. Breakfast certainly not the best for what they are charging, Drinks and cocktails a good price though. Pool pictures are very deceiving, There are better hotels to stay in for similar price.

I have stayed at this property a few years ago and I really like the Kamala area - it isn't too busy, friendly locals, great massages and food nearby. I had booked to stay up at Khao Lak this time but the Monsoon rains were strong there. I travelled back down to the friendly Palms and Kamala area as I... More

We recently stayed at The Palms on a short notice booking as the beachside hotel we were due to stay in had trouble with their pool. On arriving we were a little apprehensive as the front of the hotel was a little underwhelming but upon entering the reception our minds were quickly changed. The front section of the hotel consists... More

We stayed in the low season for 13 days, clean accommodation, great food, awesome pool for our 2 girls. The apartment had everything we needed, a/c worked well, and the on site kitchen cooked delicious Thai meals and brilliant pizzas too. Staff were friendly and Non (reception/Manager)was very helpful. Thanks very much

The Palms Resort is a solid choice for families who wish to stay in the Kamala Beach area, a quieter, more family-friendly alternative to Patong Beach. The resort is quiet, clean, reasonably priced, with spacious rooms. It is also ideally located, mere steps from restaurants, shopping, and spas and only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. We stayed in... More

My husband and I stayed in a resort nearby to Kamala Beach and ended up becoming regulars to the Al Fresco restaurant adjoining the Palms Resort. With 99 Baht cocktails on offer, they quite literally had the cheapest cocktail prices around the whole area - it's a small strip of restaurants and we checked the prices everywhere before we ate....
