We stayed overnight en route to Oudtshoorn. The host, Kenneth is very friendly and made us feel at home. Rooms are spacious and have good character. Guesthouse unfortunately do not serve dinner but there a alot of restaurants within walking distance. Overall we had a good stay.

After a very long and tiring road trip from Cape Town, the Nanna Rous was a welcome sight ! Highway traffic had been mayhem but the staff very kindly waited for us and even came to fetch / direct us from the local Caltex at 22h00 that evening ! The room was only our home for one night but what... More

We stayed here for one night on our way back from Storms River. Built in the 1830s, this charming B&B was nice, comfortable and close to the town centre and restaurants. The owner was warm and friendly and ensured we were comfortable settled in with our dog. Our room was called the Cattle post, located adjacent to the dining room... More

I Booked a Night there as a Half way stop over from CT to PMB. After a Very long trip we were met by the Owner and shown around. The Room is simple, Clean with all the things we needed, fan, soaps and soft towels for a nice clean up shower. We sat under a very Quaint Vine and had... More

The rooms had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Within walking distance of all the restaurants in Colesberg. Only thing missing in the room was an aircon. Thank you, we will definitely return!

We booked and paid in full (as requested when the booking was made) in August 2014 for December 2014. We arrived in Colesberg at 2:30pm on the day of our booking, only to find that our booking was nowhere on record& the guesthouse was now full. Kenneth, who we presume is the owner, said he'd make a plan. We were... More

We had our first experience at a "pet-friendly" guest house on our way from Johannesburg to Cape Town recently with our Bullmastiff puppy. Nanna Rous Town House was recommended to us by Colesberg tourism service. When we arrived at the guest house we were apprehensive to say the least. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find a very friendly owner... More

Arriving at 19h00 exhausted after 9 hours on the road , the girls and i were looking forward to relax and a good nights sleep. Kenneth welcomed us and took us to our quint room dating back to 1820! I had the luxury of a comfortable double bed and the girls shared single beds in the adjacent room. the luxurious... More

Stopped over in Colesberg for the night and stayed at Nana Rous town House. Certainly enjoyed the old day environment, check in was quick and easy. The place was well kept and peaceful. The visit was definitely going back in time in a good way. Life is certainly on the quieter side in this town. We all had a good... More
