Le Sentier des Arches is the perfect place if you want a peacefull holiday in a magnificant region such as the Ardeche. Xavier and Charlotte are very friendly hosts and always willing to help or advise. Together with their two great sons, Antoinne and Benoit, they are running a very nice hotel in the middle of a Chesnut orchard. Would...

We wanted to find calm and nature. We found it! We walked for hours without meeting anybody. And in the evening when we came tired back again, Charlotte and Xavier served us a delightful meal. Very good home-made kitchen which you can accompagny by very good wines, if you like.. The setting is beautiful. A river, la Beaume with limpid...

We had an excellent week at Le sentier des Arches! Nathalie and Xavier are the most friendly hosts and do their absolutte best to ensure that the customers have a perfect holiday. The food deserves its own chapter. Breakfast is tradisjonal french; croissents and white bread with jam of different kinds. Try the chesnut, it's quite something. Dinner is just...

A perfect place to stay, with lovely hosts and amazing food. On a side note, you will need a car to reach the place. We flew from Luton to Nimés and hired a vehicle for the week - all very simple and my first time driving on the Continent so don't let this put you off! Location: Peaceful and beautiful....

This was our second visit, which must tell something. It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life, in such a beautiful, tranquil location. Our room was fairly simple, but perfectly adequate - after all, it's a rustic auberge, not a swanky jet-set Paris hotel. Sitting on our balcony was so relaxing, watching butterflies...

After a quick an easy flight to Nimes we hired a car and drove to this beautiful location. We were welcomed by the hosts who made our stay very comfortable. There is plenty to do for those "out-doorsy" people and there is nothing better than a home cooked meal to end the day nicely. We would highly recommend Le Sentiers...
