Was near the end of a long drive and picked this place at random for a bit of comfort food for the family. Ok so it's a bit dated but the food was fresh, cutlery clean and the staff extremely pleasant and efficient. If passing again I'd go again - can't say fairer than that really

Just left The Forge, having enjoyed a lovely lunch, en route to camping in Tenby. Food was fresh and tasty, my Husband and I enjoyed freshly made sandwiches of home cooked, hand carved ham and turkey. Our children enjoyed sausage, chips and peas, with 'proper' hand cut chips, good quality sausages, which they polished off. Staff really pleasant and welcoming.... More

Breakfast was excellent well cooked by very friendly staff and portions were very generous. We stopped in number seven lodge which was huge and had two king size beds, also a very nice bathroom shower etc., Only one very small not really complaint there was a slightly fusty smell in the entrance hall.

Having hit the road early in the morning, we reached St Clears mid morning and were looking for somewhere to eat. The Filling Station where we filled up had this restaurant across from its forecourt. We enjoyed a fantastic Traditional Breakfast which had the most lovely dry cured bacon, golden yolked eggs and other things that you could wish for.... More

I've been using the same garage for years and this restaurant is next door to it! But until now never even considered eating here. It is on a dual carriageway so you do need a car to get here. Very large car park and a long sweeping ramp for wheel chairs. There is a bar and they do have lodges... More

Had an early evening meal here for two . Very friendly and good service Menu was limited for the vegetarian . Food was acceptable but not top of the range , ok if trying to keep costs down. Close to A40 ,no problem with parking.

I stayed at The Forge for two nights. It was a perfect place to stay with the dogs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were good. The breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

A pleasingly unmodified restaurant with a menu bristling with sensibly-priced steaks, chops and gammon, plus fish, pies and the like. They're served with first-class chips and salad, and the service is worthy of a mention because of the very cheerful, attentive staff.

Stopped off here recently on our way home for a main meal. The food is always freshly cooked and the portions are generous sizes. A pot of tea for two is a big pot with extra hot water, so you get 3 cups of tea per person. We had the curry half and half and the steak and ale pie.... More
