Hotel Pider is a wonderful hotel in the middle of the beautiful Dolomites. Our 6 day hiking holiday was planned based on hotel Pider. The staff are very helpful, sweet and create a lovely atmosphere. Coming "home" after a wonderful hike in the beautiful, magnificent and fantastic mountains where the hotel's wellness area is ready to loosen up any sore muscles and then eating in the hotel's restaurant is a wonderful way to end a day full of experiences. Can warmly recommend hotel Pider. BR Ronnie

Property's Favorite Review
We stayed at Hotel Pider for 4 nights in July with friends for a 4 days hiking/biking trip. The hotel is comfortable and spacious and right in the middle of the village. The trails (biking and hiking) start practically at the front door, and there is also a bike rental shop right next to the hotel. It is run by the owners who are available every day and helped us to make the most of our stay in the Dolomites. In fact all the staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. We were on half board and found the breakfasts and dinners very good and generous. Also, their laundry service is great value and convenient. We highly recommend Hotel Pider for your stay in the Dolomites.

Excellent family-owned hotel!! Perfect location for a Dolimites hiking or biking trip - stunning scenery all around. Great breakfasts - which included a buffet and cooked to order eggs. Dinner was wonderful too and a welcome place to rest after outdoor activities all day. The owners were very kind and flexible. They let us keep our rooms for a night (instead of having to check out) when we had an out and back overnight hike. Going in October was perfect because it was less crowded than the summer.

We stayed for 10 days in the hotel. Location is good, and the nearby surroundings are pretty. Within 1 hour drive you can visit all the highlights of de dolomites. Perfect! Breakfast and Dinner are great. Lots of choice and the food is good. And more than enough. We liked the Ladinisch touch in the menu. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are great.

We stayed 9 people at the hotel for 7 nights. Our purpose of the stay was hiking. The hotel is located just meters from some very good hiking areas. The hotel is very nice with a friendly atmosphere, a fantastic setting in a small quite village. Very good breakfast. We had booked two suites and the AOIS penthouse apartment just next door (same owner). All very nice. This was our second stay at Hotel Pider.

Very nice family run hotel in quiet village of Wengen. Staff friendly. All rooms look to have balcony and mountain view. Good breakfast buffet. Set 4-course dinner with different options offered for all courses every day. Wengen is a good centre for hiking with several good routes starting from the hotel. Be aware that apart from the Church with its attractive and well cared for cemetery and a small general store there is little else in Wengen itself. We used the hotel as a hiking base for two 4-night stays with an intervening night at a remote refugio and managed without a car; there is a limited bus service from just outside the hotel which connects to other villages and the main bus route between Brumico and Corvara/Colfosco and we also made use of a local taxi service including for transfer to/from Brunico rail station. Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel a week. A group of 14 friends, couples and individuals. To dotrekking in the high Badia area of the Dolomites. There are single guest rooms, a spacious beautiful rooms overlooking the breathtaking scenery. The hotel provides breakfast and dinner, very nutritious and rich to those whose days are spent in sports, cycling and walking. A rich and varied selection, alongside with a staff very attentive to special requests. All smiling, good-natured, giving you the feeling your needs and wishes are important. And then, Zeta and Marco who run the hotel. Always available, friendly and professional. Including counseling about treks to go to match the changing weather and the difficulty of the routes. There is a beautiful, clean Spa. Good massage service. The Board's and staff's generosity is exceptional compared to other places. No doubt I"ll come again when back to this beautiful region.
