On arrival we were offered a choice between a room with morning sun or afternoon sun. Both rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. A short walk into town found us a restaurant and in the morning the breakfast was great. The landlady is friendly and helpful so I recommend this hotel and would willingly return.

Located a 5 minute walk from the center of town, this is a little gem hiding in the Spanish countryside. With hammocks and wine a plenty, you can sit in the garden area and enjoy the weather, or walk into the town to enjoy the local scene. I would go out of my way again just to stay in this...

It isn't fair to grade this charming, family run hotel as a 2 star but it doesn't offer some of the services that would get a much higher rating such as a pool or staffed bar. What it did offer was a peaceful location, delightful rooms and clean and well kept bathroom We had a marvellous view from our balcony...

Service really friendly & helpful. To my shame I spilt nailvarnish on the bath mat. I was told "these things happen" & was not allowed to pay for it. Our room & bathroom were smallish but fine. The beds soooo comfy that we slept really well. We had a front 1st floor room with balcony & chairs. There was little...

A clean, friendly hotel, family business that makes you feel at home. If you travel to Covarrubias, this is the place to stay. While you're there, ask Alberto (owner/manager) about his winery. (He'll probably invite you to visit.)

We stayed at Hotel Dona Sancha for one night in June while travelling from Salamanca to the Rioja area and wished we had stayed longer. It is a quiet, friendly hotel in lovely gardens 10 minutes walk from the historic town. The family were celebrating at a family party in town when we arrived but we were given a warm...

We stayed for two nights at Hotel Dona Sancha in the Autumn. The location, some 10 minutes walk from the town centre, was very convenient. Our second floor room was very clean and decorated in a traditional Spanish style. It was also very quiet. Some rooms at the front have a balcony. The owners are charming and very helpful. Breakfast...

A very lovely hotel, in the very lovely little town Covarrubias. The service was perfect, the breakfast perfect (warm bread from the nearest bakery every morning!), the rooms were perfect, and for me it was the perfect place to be after having walked the Camino De San Olav from Burgus!

The hotel, located in a beautiful building, fully deserves its great reputation. The owners, a nice and friendly Spanish family, do everything they can to make you feel welcome and at home. The garden in front of the hotel, full of flowers and hammocks, is a fantastic place to relax and hide from the heat. Breakfast are fine, especially for...
