Take away the location which is excellent and the lake facilities and it is a two star site No shop worth talking about No waste grey water disposal for motorhome Toilets only cold water for 3 nights Washing up facilities likewise We got a high up pitch on the sloping site Far from flat..told it was full up but could not be reallocated another pitch despite others arriving much later..not with pre booked pitches Pitches small Nice view of toilet blocks from ours Investigated area..there are better sites very nearby with even more lakeside access than this one Brilliant area for walking and sailing..redeems this to a three rather than two it deserves
Quiet campside with basic clean sanitary. Not much shade, fixed places. I liked the place, although the host (especially the woman) was really unfriendly at times (she accused us of driving too fast on the roundabout, while it was someone else... she excused herself later) and also we let the tent and some things to dry on the camping spot next to us, and she was really strict that we had to put our things back on our own spot, because we only paid for 1(the tent and everything was soaked because it rained badly that night and our tent couldnt stand the rain so much...).
Just returned after an 11 night stay from this jewel in the Alps. We were camping with our 2 teenage sons aged 18 and 14 who also found this campsite amazing. The views are breath taking and the campsite at Camping De La Plage is among the best we've stayed at over our 17 years of camping. Pitch sizes are really good with loads of room for our VW Camper and 4 man Awning tent. Facilities are brilliant and no matter what time of day or night, they were spotless. The hosts Gaëlle et Loïc, we're so helpful with any quiries we had and always made sure that are stay was perfect. I don't have anything negative about this site (very rare for me as I am a 5* camper and always find something to moan about) One thing I would advise if you're planning on camping and want electrical hook up, make sure you have an extra long connector lead as unlike the UK your electrical hook up point might not be the nearest one to your pitch. If your staying for a few nights, I would highly recommend hiring one of their fridges as we found due to how hot it got in the day, our little camper fridge struggled to keep things cool.…
We stayed here for five days with our 27' twin axle caravan. The husband and wife, Gaelle and Loic, and their team are attentive to ensure our stay was perfect. We stayed on one of the largest pitches on the site, which was ideal. Both the toilet and shower areas are spotless. Gaelle's english is great and she is able to offer good advice about local attractions and things to do in the locality. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and our meal in The Spot, both of which are good value. The beef was superb. The area is outstandingly beautiful and the lake is amazing. We would definitely recommend this site and would return again.
we only had a one night stay on our way through France in September so wish we could have stayed longer. Nearing the end of the season it was so quiet and peaceful with such beutiful views over the lake. we were travelling in a motorhome the pitches are of a good size and well spaced on tiers. the facilities were excellent and expectionally clean . it was a bit of a drive from our intended route but very glad that we decided to go. we arrived quite late but were made very welcome by the owners . will most defintely be visiting again hopefully for a much longer stay
