My partner and I cannot get over how good the Sunday roast was yesterday. We both agreed it's the best we've ever eaten, anywhere. Also the pub is classy without being even a smidgen pretentious and this is to the lovely staff and manager's credit. Unreal. Loved it.

Had a lovely couple of night at this charming inn. The staff are all lovely and nothing is to much trouble. Our suite was perfect with lovely gardens to chill out in. We had a amazing stay with good food too top it all . Will definitely be going back.

Visited for lunch as we were staying nearby. Delicious Sunday lunch, the best ever. Generous portions and beautifully cooked, absolutely faultless. We plan to visit again during our week's holiday. Can't recommend this place highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable and charming, characterful inn. The hosts and staff were all extremely kind, welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was of a very high standard, both the evening meals and breakfasts. The room was very clean and well stocked with tea/coffee/biscuits etc and bathroom essentials and were replenished on a daily basis. Thank... More

The room was fine and the location in a quiet village within a short distance of all that the Cotswolds has to offer was perfect. The bar area was pleasant and the 'leaping lamb' ale was moorish. The highlight of our visit however was the food which was outstanding. The quality of the produce is excellent and the chef is... More

We have stayed here three times previously although not admittedly for 21 years but felt it was an ideal location to stop over on our trip from the South Coast back home to Yorkshire. We have very happy memories of our previous visits and we were a little nervous. We needn't have been - The Lamb is still excellent, the... More

We had the last room available and it was fine, it suited our needs for a special anniversary weekend. Clean and comfortable, tea/coffee available in room and water. . Staff very friendly and the food was superb. Ideal for visiting the stunning Cotswold area of very pretty villages.

Don't stay in room 2, cannot speak for the remainder of the inn but room 2 is "the pits". We asked to be moved, but another room was not available. Very small room; need to be a contortionist to get up the spiraly, narrow stairs; concussions possible on low door openings; the one "comfortable chair" was missing the main cushion;... More

Dear Bob W, it appears that you want to make somewhat of a statement as we have already responded to this same review on other review sites. As we mentioned, whilst we respect your right to make comments we totally disagree with them & find them quite offensive. Room 2 has exposed Cotswold stone walls, a small ornamental fireplace &... Recently visited with my closest friends and my fiancée, who was a regular in this pub when he lived here. Have a real affection for this pub. It is warm and inviting and the locals are very welcoming. Plenty of choices to drink and a menu that caters for the bar or restaurant. The staff are second to non and... More

Stayed for one night in this quaint inn whilst visiting Bourton on the water. Very comfortable room, friendly staff and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast included a good choice of continental and full English.
