Great hotel for passing through to the south. The rooms are clean. No noise from the outside. Excellent breakfast. You can hire a private parking place. It's an excellent hotel for an overnight during your travel to the south.

This compact hotel with a Michelin Star restaurant is located in a fairly uninteresting village. The stylish bedroom was excellent with a high degree of attention to detail. The very high quality restaurant offers a very "top end" dining experience. My wife liked it but it's not the style of eating I like. Top end dining comes with top end... More

We enjoyed the exquise dinner, the comfortable rooms and good breakfast! We stayed at Le Carre dÁlthius during our journey to the south of France. Perfect place to relax during our voyage. Hope to stay again in the near future.

This review is of the hotel. See my separate review of the restaurant. Very modern rooms with excellent design making the best use of the available space. Breakfast was dusappointing with staff on duty not being at all switched on. Just like the restaurant staff - dour. May be it the Ardeche? Burgundy people are much more welcoming!

We recently visited Le Carre d'Alerhuis heading down to see a friend. This place is a hidden gem. Only in a small town but by far the best hotel, the hotel only has a couple of rooms. We stayed in a family room which had a large double bed and 2x single beds were made up for my two young... More

The hotel is lying in a small village on the west side of Rhone. Little difficult to find without a gps, since it was lying in a narrow side road. The hotel reception was very modern and so was the rooms. My room had a view to the dining area. This is not a cheap hotel, but fair priced comparing... More

We stayed her for one night enroute to Spain. I chose this hotel as it had a restaurant. What a treat. It has several different fixed price menus starting from 39 euros up to 80 euros. The food was excellent with an amuse bouche and great home made bread included. Ou glass of champagne apertif came with more little treats... More

My wife & I stayed a couple of nights at this great little hotel. The room was tastefully decorated & clean. The continental breakfast was excellent. We had booked for 3 nights but had to return home a day early due to a sick pet but we were not charged for the third day.
