Thorrenc de Auberge is a hidden gem in the French cote du Rhone region. Whether you eat at the restaurant or you stay in the simple, yet very cosy rooms (we did both) I would highly recommend this family run establishment. Particularly loved the breakfast baskets waiting for you outside the door every morning.

We spent four enjoyable nights here. Very welcoming staff. Adequate room with a good breakfast in the room. The Ardeche area is dramatically beautiful. The highlight at the auberge was the locally renowned restaurant - we ate there every night! They supplied top class French cuisine, attractively served by an attractive waitress. We will happily return to this lovely auberge...

This is a small family owned Auberge with three rooms only. Our travelling group of friends had the other rooms. The rooms were simple, clean, spacious and in keeping with the country feel. The comfortable beds were on a mezzanine above a sitting area. At 75 euros including breakfast it was a real find. The best of our 4 night...

My husband is from this area of France and when we recently got married, we needed a perfect spot where our family and friends could stay. Thankfully the L'Auberge de Thorrenc was up for the challenge. The entire staff was wonderful, breakfast went above and beyond, the rooms were lovely and the scenery is perfection. Everything about our stay there...

We have stayed at this very special Auberge on a number of occasions and always love returning there as it is a very special place. It is situated in one of the prettiest villages in the Ardeche with a lovely Chateau at its core. The restaurant is exceptional - no-nonsense French cooking at its very best accompanied by the limited...

We were lost on our way from the airport last weekend and arrived very late (mid-night! we had called the chef) and Eric (chef & owner) & his wife were so kind and still gave us dinner, they kept some food for us, otherwise we would have gone hungry to bed. Both the food and hospitality were wonderful. Thorrenc is...
