The Riverside Huts are small huts with an attached bathroom. However, they do not have a place to cook and are a little dark. The first night we rented two huts. There is a communal bbq and picnic area outside across a road next to the river. The huts are a steep hike from

The Huts are standard very suitable for backpacking types, but would be a better experience with a tv and heaters, they are very cold so one is forced to make a fire every night. The roads to the hut also need more improvement else guests must be notified that they need a 4x4.

What is the road to the park like - do we need a 4x4
Good day The road to the park is tarred up until the gates, after which the road is gravel for about 3km and is maintained by the lodge, so it is usually not a problem for normal vehicles. Kind regards, Maliba Lodge
