We stayed just one night at La Treille Muscate for the first stop of our mini-moon trip. We had chosen room number 8 specifically because it had a private terrace. After a walk around the tiny but beautiful village of Cliousclat we asked whether we could order some drinks to have outside on our terrace while we watched the sun...

A delightful hotel in a beautiful unspoilt village perched in the hills above the Rhone valley. We received a very warm friendly welcome and our room was bright, light and airy, recently decorated with a lovely terrace overlooking the river valley, the surrounding fields and the hills. We felt the photos on the hotel's website did not do it justice....

Lovely menu. Huge bed. Peaceful surroundings and dog friendly. Really enjoyed our stay. Only downside is that breakfast is extra and fairly expensive by our standards. Two shady terraces to choose from.

Popped up to the local Sunday eclectic market (some really interesting stuff), and stopped here for lunch. Sunday menu, 3 courses, great quality, really fresh and tasty, nothing overpowering. Loved the monkfish .... Staff were really attentive, great service. Highly recommended.

The hotel is a jewel at the top of an enchanted track to nowhere. Comfortable room in a traditional setting. Great views across the valley below, from the restaurant garden, you can see the power station cooling towers 2-3 kilometers away but it is part of the landscape of modern France and is not too obvious. Whilst the staff were...

Room fantastic with large balcony. Really lovely village. Chimneys in distance a shame but not a problem. Food really nice and menu good value. Staff work hard and keep a good atmosphere. Room 11 a must and make time for evening sundowner on balcony. For a genuine Provençal village hotel this is it. As others said a must on the...

Traditional French Hotel tucked away in a quiet hillside village. First impressions were excellent. The room (10) was spacious and comfortable with a sunny balcony and distant views down the Rhone and across the valley. The distant cooling towers of the power station are a surprise but no fault of the hotel. The disappointing aspect was the absence of any...

There is no doubt that the TM is situated in a lovely peaceful village with views of the R Rhone. And it would be difficult to be critical of the service offered. However in my opinion it is adequate as opposed to very good, and, frankly, 25 to 30 % overpriced for what it is. The rooms are absolutely tiny,...

On our way to Spain we stopped in this lovely little village, just of the A7 motorway, to stay in this wonderful hotel full of medieval charm and southern-France hospitality. Despite being late we still got a table in the restaurant, which offers great value dishes. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is top. We'll come back!
