Parkside hotel is a great place. If you plan to come to Chitwan, stay here! We thouroughly enjoyed our stay: Nice food, adventurous elephant ride, fun elephant shower, peaceful canoë ride with lots of explanations and exciting jungle walk.

Yes but it's theough the community forest and not the national park. You will only see deer, other tourists and elephants. Also the elephants are not well looked after. The walking tour they provide is excellent and in the... More
Yes but it's theough the community forest and not the national park. You will only see deer, other tourists and elephants. Also the elephants are not well looked after. The walking tour they provide is excellent and in the national park. Your best option is to take a walk to the conservation centre and talk to the government guides there. Parkside is a nice plase to stay but you only get one chance to enter the national park.
