Wow, such an incredible experience! Sweet family run business who genuinely care about their customers. Every time we arrived from an excursion we were greeted with fresh juice and smiles. We were originally quoted by a different company with a different hotel $675 for 3 days. When we saw this in booking we decided to try to go at it without a guide and have the hotel help. And it was such a great choice! In the end we stayed 4 days, and for the same itinerary we ended up saving over $200! Right when you arrive they help you to your room, offer juice and let your know they can help you schedule everything. When ready, you go to their office and they will walk you through all of the options and help you plan your perfect adventure. We did canoeing, a jungle walk, jeep safari with a stop at the gharial breeding center, a bike ride through the village and the Tharu dance! The food there was always made fresh and they were so organized in making sure we knew exactly where we needed to be and when so we didn't miss anything. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality, we had such a wonderful stay!

The owner, Suraj made us feel like home from the first minute. They also offer free pickup and free dropoff from/to the bus station to everyone. The location is perfect for those who like quiet areas but it’s still 5 minutes of walking from the riverbank. They organized great safaris for us on a fair price with an expert guide. All-in-all, great experience.

I ended up extending my stay by 3 nights just because I really liked this hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just a 7 minute walk to the main bustling town. Trust me, you are probably coming from Kathmandu so the location where the hotel is situated has no honking taxi horns, just peace and quiet! It overlooks large fields of birds, twice I saw hornbills and once I saw a jackal. Their food was so good, I ordered the majority of my food from them, it was very affordable and delicious! They are also knowledgeable about tours and I booked one day trip with them, the guide was great and really knew his birds. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Hotel National Park! It’s such a welcoming environment with service and facilities also being exceptional. The location is perfect for safaris into Chitwan and the packages they offer are a very reasonable price. If you’re in Sauraha area make sure to book here!

We family of 4 pax booked 2 rooms. Hotel National Park is very nice hotel at peaceful location with a beautiful rice field view. The hotel is run by a helpful and friendly family. We couldn’t get the transportation to our hometown due to peak season but they helped us to extend our stay even at the last hour and I highly appreciate them. We got some side attraction packages from them and it was very convenient, they pick you up and drop you off at hotel. The hotel food daal, bhat tarkari was freshly made and also other breakfast items. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Don’t miss it when you are at Sauraha. Suraj, his family, and the staff really made my stay exceptional. Suraj picked me up from the bus station, helped me arrange all sorts of safaris (for better prices than I was quoted at agencies), took me to the safari starting points, and always made sure everything was okay. He made me feel like family, and I'm really sad to be leaving.
Additionally, the hotel was great. Big rooms, balconies with nice views, hot water, good WiFi, universal electrical outlets, an on-site restaurant with room service, etc. It had everything I needed, and I was very comfortable for my week in Chitwan.

A must stay if doing safari in chitwan. The host and his family were incredibly welcoming and essentially you just need to sit back and relax and they will handle everything for you. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the main town and perfectly located to get to the river, where we were taken on a sunset walk the first night and saw a rhino right away.
I prefer reading honest reviews about hotels so I am going to provide the same to other travelers. The rooms are extremely basic and the beds are fairly hard. There is hot water but it is intermittent. I say this only so other travelers are informed of what to expect and maybe not disappointed by the high rating. This is a 1 star.
Having said that, none of these things bothered us at all because we were there to safari, not be in a room. There are many hotels in the area, and I suspect they are the same standard, but what differentiates this place from the rest was how kind and helpful the hosts were.
Again, I could not recommend this place any more. When we return to chitwan, we will be staying here again!

The room was comfortable, but what we appreciated most was the lovely staff - the hotel owner even invited us to a family celebration dinner that took place while we stayed.
The hotel offers trips to the National park for a reasonable price - we chose to do the safari walk and jeep tour and did them with experienced guides, who were very knowledgeable on the animals and plants. We also appreciated the balconies - just a nice area to relax. The food provided by the hotel's restaurant was also good.

Hotel National Park is simple accommodation run by a beautiful family. They made me feel instantly at home from the moment I got there. They organises my safari activities, Chitwan Park ticket and took me to see a traditional dance of people from this area. They have a restaurant that makes delicious food for a good price - the vegetables curry was super yummy!

Good hotel for tourists in Sauraha. I think that the safari packages they offer are somewhat cheaper than what comparable hotels offer, but it is even cheaper when you just arrange it with the manager when you arrive. The manager is very helpful, cheerful and enthusiastic. Location is a little away from the tourist centre and river, but this is only about a 10/15min walk. And as a bonus, one morning a rhino was chilling out just in front of the hotel.
