The staff was very friendly and the beds comfortable. However, there were only plastic duvets which we did not use. We slept in our own sleeping bags. The owner talked to the guests right at arrival to sell various safari tours. Nevertheless, the safari tour booked through the hostel was ok for us in terms of price and well organized with an experienced guide. We paid about 90,- € for two persons and therefore we had 1 hour canoeing, 3 hours hiking in the jungle and 4 hours jeep safari in the national park. On the day of arrival we also had a nice walk together with the guide from the hostel where we saw a crocodile and peacocks. Other than announced (24h hot water) there is hot water for showering only in the evening when the day was sunny (solar energy). On request we were offered to prepare a bucket of hot water for washing. In the desktop version of Booking.com you can find a reference to solar energy in the small print at the bottom, but unfortunately not in the app. Moreover, the rooms are unheated, so that it can get quite uncomfortable in winter. The mosquito nets had big holes, fortunately there were not so many bloodsuckers in December. Like some visitors before us, we gave an honest rating (6.7 points out of 10, so it was quite good) at Booking.com, whereupon the owner immediately cancelled the booking. He boasts top ratings over 9 points, which in our opinion are not justified. It seems as if all ratings that are not in the TOP range are thus strategically prevented. We have been annoyed several times about bad accommodations, which had great ratings at Booking. Now we know how they come about...…
Had an amazing time staying at this place. Surely a more budget oriented place but all round clean and has everything you need. Slightly outside of the "city", short work but therefore a very quiet place at night. Outstanding workers that are doing their very best to make your stay as good as they can! They also offer tours for good prices and provide well educated guides. I can only recommend staying here!
Great place to relax and see the national park. They take care of everything for a very reasonable price. Everything was great. Highly recommended. Staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Only wish they had full day Jeep safari option for tours
We had a great time at the hotel National Park, and we liked IT that much that we already chose it for the second time :) The rooms were clean and with mosquito nets for the beds; they offer great an cheap food (local and Western style, If you can't handle spicy food) and arrange everything for you: Tours, Transport, Guides... Everything while being very kind and also able to react spontaneusly to any adjustments! Thanks a lot, it really felt familiar.
Hotel National Park is a must-stay when visiting Sauraha and Chitwan National Park. From the moment we arrived Su Raj was extremely welcoming & helpful. The homemade lemonade welcome drink is delicious, as is the food you can get in the restaurant. The Safari guides are the best of the best & with nearly 40 years experience they have amazing stories, and their knowledge of the park is exceptional. Thanks for a great stay! Hope to see you again in the future :)
