The best place to stay when visiting Chitwan. Excellent staff and owner. We booked our guided jungle walk and canoe trip with the hotel and got an amazing guide and saw so much wildlife. Highly recommend staying and booking tours with Hotel Rhino Land
We stayed at Hotel Rhino Land for three nights in an upstairs room with a lovely deck to sit out and relax on. They picked us up and dropped us to the bus station and organised a safari in the park, which we really enjoyed. The room was big and comfortable and we were able to walk to the river, restaurants and shops easily from the hotel. It was very good value for money.
My friends and I stayed at Hotel Rhino Land for jungle safari. The room was clean, the shower was hot and the hosts were great! Excellent recommendations for activities, booking the bus, and the food was good too! Come stay here!
spent 5 days and we’ve had one of our best experience ever. Such a nice family who makes you feel home from the start. Sow we put some ratings below. All of them are 10 out off 10 -Food -Jeep Safari -Walking safari -Friendly hospitality All this make it more than worth fore us. Must go!
I had a blast staying at Hotel Rhino Land. The souvenir shops and restaurants were within walking distance. If you walk closer to the major streets near Chitwan National Park, you will get better deals for where to eat or just shopping. The staff were very attentive and friendly. He even offered to pick me up when I arrived at the local bus station. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished. The only downside was the padlock-type lock that made leaving and returning slightly a hassle. But that doesn't affect the rating at all. They even let us borrow their bicycle for free to get around the neighborhood and perhaps go and grab a bite. They also offer tours and laundry service on their premises. You get more than what you pay for when you book a room here! Definitely recommended!
I loved staying here for its location and beautiful garden, also Raj and Kirin were so kind and helpful. On my last night I saw a rhino wandering through the paddy fields next to the gueshouse, I can't describe how excited I was to spontaneously see a wild animal like that!. If you stay in the A/C rooms on the top floor you can look out over the canopy of the garden and watch such an abundance of birdlife. Would definitely recommend.
We felt like home in this beautiful property of Rajubhai. He is a gem of a person & took care of the guest all by himself. The room was very nice, aesthetically decorated & spacious with nice view. Location was very good, away from the hustle & bustle of the market. Rajubhai arranged our jungle walk & jeep safari in a reasonable price, dropped & picked us up from the river bank in his jeep. His children & wife were also very interactive & gave us good company. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
My friend and I spent two nights at Hotel Rhino Land and we really liked it. Raj is a really good host and helps where he can. Free rides from and to the bus stop are included. The rooms are comfortable, the showers warm and the mosquito nets over the beds very helpful. We also booked a one day walking safari tour through him with the guides Binot and Kiran. I loved the safari. Binot and Kiran are very kind, know a lot and were always on the hunt for the best places to spot animals. We saw a lot of rhinos (even a baby :), birds, deer and a mama bear with two babies. Thanks a lot again for this experience! :) Natalia and Reena from Germany
To start things off I want to say that the room me and my friend got was very nice, spacious, clean and with hot water. The staff and the owner are the nicest people. The room and the food is also very cheap! Me and my friend went on a two-day jungle walk with the guides Kiran and Binod, we would soon find out that their experience in the jungle would give great result. Both of them are born and raised very close to the jungle and knows it like the inside of their own pocket. Binod has been a guide for 12 years, and Kiran 7 years. Both Kiran and Binod are very friendly and likeable guys, always sharing food and other goods, Definitely the guys you wanna go on a long hike with. The first thing we did before entering the jungle was having a safety instruction wich made everything feel a lot more safe. Without going into all the details in our trip i will try to summarise what we experienced. In total for the Two days we saw 13 rhinos(some closer than 50m), 1 tiger( we saw the same tiger 3 times because of Binod and Kirans excellent tracking skills), 1 elefant( called ronaldo, one of the largest males in the park), 4 bears ( one bear we saw around 40m away), countless crocodiles (both the marsh mugger and gharial. We saw the mugger mating in the water), 1 giant hornbill (probably the rarest bird of the bunch), 1 black stork, all the different types of deer( hundreds of them and sometimes at a really close range), 20-30 wild boar, many different bird species in all the colours of the rainbow, 10-20 peacocks ( both female and femal, males showing off their feathers whilst dancing), different types of monkeys(in total close to 100 monkeys), wild chickens and probably some more! In addition to all this I want to point out that both Binod and Kiran’s knowledge about the jungle was impressive in many ways. For instance I had gotten food poisoned on my way to chitwan. When I told them about this they started looking for a plant they knew would help cure my stomach. They found it and i ate it, and the next day i was cured. They also managed to differentiate between a lot of different pee and tell sich was a tigers or leopard and so on, and then use it to track the predators route. If you want for travel to Chitwan from kathmandu and stay at Rhino Land, it is a very easy trip. You can take the bus from many different places in kathmandu, and when you arrive in chitwan the hotel owner or one of the staff will happily pick you up at the bus stop wich is about 15 minutes walking or 5 minutes by car. All in all this was one of the most exciting experiences in our lives. We will come back cheers from two young men at 23 and 20…
