Park Safari Resort is a real gem. The view from the outside is not particularly inviting, but on stepping through the main doors, I am immediately stuck by the beautiful, marbled reception area. Light, airy, very specious & very welcoming. The staff of the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfasts were amazing, a wonderful selection, and again, the young staff were very efficient and helpful in making the breakfast times fun and enjoyable. The location of the hotel is great - right in the middle of most attraction Rapti River, which are within walking distance. The room I had was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and the view of Pool beside the Rapti river from my room was so majestic which I loved so much. So, I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to visitors to Prague. Thank you very much Park Safari Resort for making my stay so special.

I booked this via hotels.com for my family of 3, two adults and one teenager. My hotels.com booking showed 3 people in a double room. When we arrived we were informed that we need to pay $25.00 per night for an extra bed. After showing our booking for three and explaining all 7 of our other hotels.com bookings accommodated our entire family the property refused to provide an extra cot without the additional nightly fee. It was not in our budget to pay an additional 45% above our room cost. They agreed to move us to a room with two twin beds that we pushed together and that is how we spent our three nights. The property is blaming hotels.com for advertising that a double room can accommodate three people. When I questioned why management hasn't worked with Hotel.com about the mistake they claimed they have brought the problem to hotels.com but it was never updated. Also the air conditioning is not powerful enough to keep the room cool and when you leave the room all power is lost including power to the fridge which means no cool drinks when you return from a hot safari. On a positive note, the hotel is located perfectly on the river with lovely views on the Chitwan National Park. We also loved the Paneer Lababdar in the hotel restaurant, one of the best meals of our month long trip. Overall disappointing, we would not return to this property.

My daughter and I had a wonderful 2 night stay in this hotel. We booked a twin Riverview room, bathroom with " jetted bath"..........room was perfect except...... no bath. The manager was apologetic and transferred us to a suite as it was the only place there was a bath! There were no jets in this bath however or anywhere in the Hotel, so we advised that the Hotel remove that information from hotels.com . They kindly put a most comfortable roll out bed in the separate sitting room as suite only had one enormous bed. Air con was excellent and suite was gloriously spacious, in effect 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On our departure the Hotel organised a very comfortable, reasonably priced, motorised Tuk Tuk to the airport as there was a transport strike. Breakfast both days was wonderful, the staff were extremely considerate to 1 vegan and 1 vegetarian guest. Our only quibble was that the pool closed for chemical treatment for the only full day that we had to lie around......& didn't reopen "later" as we were told. If we had been given notice we could have had an earlier swim etc. Overall however we thoroughly enjoyed our short luxury break. Thank you Park Safari Resort for providing an oasis to 2 weary Irish tourists.

I was there for attending a seminar followed by dinner. The seminar hall was average in that only 2 out of 4 A/Cs were working. The room was over packed. The peak summer in Sauraha really drains your body fluid and the seminar room full of people was not comfy at all. The cocktail dinner after that was refreshing though. The setup was awesome and the food was really good.

Staff untrained , no English speakers. Restaurant is awful, what you order is not what you get they might change your food at the end and hope you won’t notice. Breakfast they manage to have no eggs available. Coffee available is some kind of instant coffee powder that you should mix with water. Once you arrive they will rush to sell you their “Tours”. You will spend most of your day waiting under the sun while the actual visit of park is very short. This also includes an elephant breeding center which is actually an elephant jail with electrified walls where adults are chained with 1 meter lengths. Heartbreaking !
