This was one of our best stays in Nepal where we traveled for more than 2 months. We stayed even longer than was planned because the garden is a really piece of paradise. You can perfectly rest here after hiking, the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Top notch! Helpful staff and super room. Very close to everything in Sauraha. Got all we needed from the hotel! They had safari and jungle walk with the hotels staff. Also good breakfast. They picked us up from the bus station unexpectedly which was a nice surprise!
Honestly cannot recommend enough. Whole stay was flawless. Gave us recommendations on what to do and organised everything giving us an unforgettable safari experience. Unfortunately during my stay I got yet the staff couldn’t do enough for me and were beyond caring and catered to my every need even upgrading me for free. Would encourage everyone going to Chitwan to go here!
I am a single women traveller from Germany and arrived in the night after a long busride. Everything here makes me feeling that it was worth to come the long way. The rooms and the surrounding are relaxing quite and openfriendly, a peaceful athmosphere makes you feeling absulot hussle and stressfree on this place. Contact to owner and stuff is very easy, even if you are on a tourist spot where people over years come and go you have the feeling there is always someone to speak if you need any information. I needed a lot. They helped me effectiv with searching for informations in all my special belongings to get a quick pcr test and other things that i have to do special because of covid times. And then i had a supernice Jungle trip with watching a rino. I go with two guids, because its more save, for the price for one. Som, that is a person that is good for your heart, one of the guids has a lot experience including a tiger bite that he survives, so he takes double care. And they have house own Elefants. And the food is really delicious. Not anything to complaint. And suuper rooms, big, with light and soft matraces, i had such a good room. I do not want to write more, but belive a very experienced traveller women, if you like this country and want to know why, this is one of the good places that you are searching for. A place were you feel so very happy that traveling is possible again now.…
Had an amazing time here. Enjoyed staying here. Staff and owner are really friendly. Had an opportunity to experience Rhino near my room. So overall great facilities and services. Beautiful garden and hammock near garden let you enjoy bird singing. Excellent service.
Hi everyone, We were at the best place ever. This is not just a place where to stay, but a place that can organize every adventure you would like and where you can meet some new friends. Travellers Jungle camp has beautiful and cozy appartments, delicious meals, great tours. We went jungle walking, elephant riding, canuing, visited elephant breeding center and had a visit of a one horn rhino in the middle of the night. We learned a lot about Tharu people and their culture and traditions. We had a best guide ever, if you go to Chitwan go to Travellers Jungle camp and ask for Bishnu, he is the best guide ever. He is filled with positive energy and he radiates peace. This is the place I am deffinitely returning to and would like to meet Bishnu again :-) Zrinka, Croatia
Our second stay at this simple but lovely hotel in Sauraha, Chitwan. The price is reasonable, the location perfect (5 minutes walk to the main river viewpoint), the manager is friendly and professional and the garden is a jewel! A great place to chill out for a mini holiday when in Nepal. This time we booked a half day walk in the reserve with an hour's canoe trip. We went with the manager and his friend and professional guide Bishnu. Saw many birds, a stag, crocodiles, monkeys, mongoose and a rhino and we hadn't even started walking! Ideal stay for travellers on a budget that want to have a few days in relative "luxury" to chill out!
I had a room on the opposite side of town, but wanted to spend a night on the main street to maybe spot the rhino (which I unfortunately didn't that night), and the Travellers Jungle Camp's central location appealed to me. The staff are incredibly nice, and still chatted with or waved to me even after my stay whenever I'd walk past. The room is comfortable and peaceful, the grounds are beautiful and the beds are soft. Only downside was no water in the sink, but there was a tap with the shower, so that wasnt much of an issue. I'd recommend this place to people who want to both be in the centre of town but also want peace from the road noise.
Rooms are very good with air conditions. Facilities such as WIFI, TV and hot and cold water for shower are available. Food service is good. They serve local produced vegetables, meat, fish and fruits. Wild rhino visits around hotel surrounding specially night time , some times day time as well. Best place to stay for Safari activities.
What a wonderful place to spend Christmas. The staff went out of their way to make my stay memorable. The safari they organised was great and the early morning canoe trip. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable.. Being greeted on arrival by the resident Rhino was a great surprise. Would definitely stay here again.
