We had around 70 guests. From the initial contract to execution of the event the team at the Tamaya did an amazing job. From food and beverage service to maid service it was exceptional. Everyone was pleasant, went the extra mile, and made our guest fell welcomed and appreciated. Jody and the Encore team have to be some of the best in the business and I wish I had them at all of our events.

Tamaya was a great choice for us, close to Santa Fe and to ABQ. We enjoyed the hiking trails, the wildlife along the trails and the view from the banks of the Rio Grande. After one hike we were greeted inside by a baker that had just finished baking Pueblo Bread for the guests. We accepted a loaf and listened to the baker's explanation of the origins of Pueblo Bread. The bread was perfect after our long hike - especially with the various flavored butters (cinnamon, green chile, red chile, honey). Be sure to eat breakfast at this Hyatt - try the blue corn pancakes and the french toast, you won't need the syrup, just the cherry compote and the orange sauces respectively. The rooms were very spacious, modern, comfortable and quiet. The bathrooms had two nice showerhead options (one would have been sufficient). We'll be back the next time we need to split time between Santa Fe & Albuquerque.

I stayed 130 nights last year at Marriott's and needed a place for a 4 month work assignment in Albuquerque. Not enjoying any of Marriott's offerings, I decided to give Hyatt and The Tamaya Report a try last month. In a month of staying here 5 days a week, I would rate the resort a 10 if possible. It's easy to pass by the hotel as it's a few miles from the road driving into Albuquerque - but so worth the turn off of the main road and onto the winding road that leads to the resort. Given the challenges of the Covid pandemic this hotel is doing everything right. The staff are wonderful, polite and incredibly honest - special thanks to Vicky from housekeeping who discovered a roll of cash I'd forgotten that I'd left behind last week, only to check in today and have the front desk hand it to me ! The rooms are spotless, the beds incredibly comfortable and the mountain views are unbelievable. The hot tub and main pol are open and heated and perfect for a late night soak. The grounds are incredibly peaceful and ideal for short or longer hikes every day. I've seen deer, coyotes, turkeys and who knows what else along the way. Food service considering the pandemic has been great. After staying at all of the Marriott properties in and around Albuquerque I am so grateful to have found The Tamaya and Hyatt to call home base over the next 3 months.

Excellent resort - the property has many daily activities for adults and children, hiking trails to the Rio Grande, and even had a well heated pool during cold weather. The breakfast choices were excellent and the food was amazing. We stayed here 4 nights with our 5 children and had a fantastic time.
