I was there for a business meeting however I'm bringing my family to this resort. I'd recommend anyone looking for business meetings and retreats to use Tamaya. Their catering staff, Alan, Kyle, and Miguel went above and beyond. Their friendly demeanor was amazing. Food and organization of the events were also on point. Traveling most of the year and staying at so many different hotels, Tamaya is a rare gem I look forward to visiting every year.

I love the facilities. This time my husband and I used the available bikes to ride around the property. It was a lovely relaxing time. The facilities were clean and the staff was eager to help when asked. I love the views from the rooms. The only issue was that we had some noisy neighbors which was more noticeable because there was a connecting door (which remain locked) between the rooms. So it was not as quiet as it has been in the past.

We have visited Tayama before, and choose to return for many reasons including the serenity, the natural setting, being set on Native American land, offering MANY sports and activities including S'mores and Stories under the Stars. But supporting a rescue horse operation is pretty near the top of admiration we have the resort. This will NOT be our last visit. Kudos, Tamaya!!

Driving to the resort is interesting. Lots of signs directing you there, but no sight of the resort itself. Then you top a rise, turn a corner and there it is. An oasis in the desert. Stayed here for a conference and enjoyed every second of it. When I told my wife about the resort, she said she was coming with me next year.

Great stay with nice staff and beautiful scenery! The pools are nice, the trails are stunning and the horses are very friendly. This hotel is nestled in between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, native owned on recognized indigenous lands.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend together and we were disappointed. We booked a couples massage at the spa. We were bummed we could not sit together in the jacuzzi or sauna because they are gender specific in the spa. After the massage we hoped to go back to our room for a nap. The walls are paper thin, we couldn't sleep because we could hear every single person walk down the hallway and the screaming baby in the room next to us cried for hours. We also struggled to sleep at night because of the same issues. Additionally, we did not feel like the price we paid was worth the experience because the property definitely needs an upgrade. We would much rather spend a relaxing weekend at Ojo Santa Fe.

Hotel was amazing. Beautiful scenery and the property has gorgeous walking/biking/exercise trails, lots of activities, great food and drinks. Room service arrived on time and was delicious. Beds were comfy, AC worked well and we had everything we needed. The different pool options was nice but the hot tub is rather small for such a large property so if you're with kids, it's hard to get in when it's not full of people, but if you do (I suggest in the morning) it feels great! Breakfast was delicious and stores had good items to browse through. Best part by far were the walking trails!!!!!

Tamaya is a beautiful place to get away from all the stresses of life. Their beds were super comfortable and the staff was excellent with customer service. They were happy and friendly and very respectful.

The staff are generally friendly and helpful. The hotel itself, however, is starting to show its age and wear-and-tear. The restaurant food is fair, but not for the price that is charged. Had a bad experience one time with stale bread and moldy cheese being served in the bar. It's a nice place to relax, but it's not as nice as it used to be years ago. The use of the spa used to be included in the resort fee at one time, now you either have to sign up for a spa service or pay around $50 to use the spa. The quality of the food has gone downhill as well. I recommend eating somewhere else in nearby Bernalillo or Albuquerque. Finally, you don't get much for the resort fee your charged automatically that you don't get for free at other hotels (use of swimming pool, hot tub, wifi, etc.)

A beautiful, restful place with very professional, friendly staff. Transportation was a factor, so you need to plan ahead unless you are bringing a car. Seems to be several outdoor activities for families until about 5:30-6p.
