This mountain retreat is perfect for the land lovers. The sceneries are breathtaking. So much forest therapy and nature all around. Plus the rooms are very clean, the staff is friendly and the locals are knowledgeable. If you are looking for a retreat in nature to experience the Pura Vida life, I highly recommend Vida Mountain. Beautiful Resort, transportation from and to airport is on a high level. The place is perfect for surrendering to the nature and complete relaxation. Location has a marvelous view and impresses with its beauty throughout the day. Friendly and open working personal, takes care of every need. Flexibility and resilience of the staff impresses with professionalism. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. I would love to come back again.

I led a spiritual retreat in April 2021. I have facilitated and co-facilitated numerous retreats, and Vida Mountain was by far my favorite place. The staff is incredible (Kari, Lucas, Gustavo, Leandro to name a few)- they are so attentive and their customer service is second to none. The food was divine, the spa was amazing, and the views out of this world. I also loved all the activities that added on- the forest therapy with Leandro is. MUST. The sound bowl healing with Jose was wonderful, and the zip-lining tour was so much fun. I loved that we had the same person for our shuttle driver as well- it made me fell comfortable and safe. If you're wanting to host a retreat- definitely book with Vida Mountain. I can't wait to go back

Vida Mountain Resort -- Incredible views, attentive and kind staff (Kari, Lucas, Gustavo, everyone), amazing food, thoughtful details throughout and an overall awe inspiring experience. The location is phenomenal -- surrounded by the mountains, looking out onto the jungle and the Pacific Ocean. And once you arrive, stunning views that are well worth the drive -- from the delicious fresh food, attentive staff, restorative activities (e.g., yoga, sound healing, forest bathing), and don't forget the spa, and so much more. I was blessed to be there on a full moon which only further enhanced the beauty and deepened my spiritual experience. I plan to come back again and highly recommend if you are looking for a magical experience! Tip: regardless of where you are coming from, be sure to drive up the San Ramon side of Route 742 (there are portion that are unpaved on this route, but this is the very best option to get to paradise). The drive to Vida Mountain is well worth it!! A must see / experience!…

Simply put, Vida Mountain Resort and Spa has earned five stars across all of the review sites for good reason. Tucked away in the mountains above San Ramon, this remarkable property blends its host of modern amenities with the beauty of its natural surrounding in such a way that gives the impression it was designed to be a resort of the mountain rather than a resort on the mountain. However, what really makes this place so special -- and why we came back for another couple nights just a week later -- is its staff and the outstanding quality of service that they provide. Lucas, Kari, Gustavo, Yasmin, and everyone else at Vida Mountain go out of their way to somehow make you feel like it's your own private resort. They even packed us a picnic when we told them we were going to drive down to the river (complete with picnic baskets and a tapestry to sit on)! The quality of service you will experience at Vida Mountain Resort is hard to find and will typically involve an additional decimal place on your bill. I know this has been long winded, but one final note for those in the market for adventure, who want to catch some amazing views, and are driving a 4x4: check out the Carrt. 4x4 "shortcut" to the resort. A word of caution, though, you will need 4 wheel and if your clearance is anything less than a full size SUV, there are a few spots that will require picking good lines. The residents along the road seem to get a kick out of seeing tourists come through in rentals, so be courteous and careful as you pass them!…

I co- lead a yoga retreat here with a dear friend/ colleague in March this year. We are absolutely in love with the place, the yoga shala is a dream, the staff was amazingly kind, attentive, friendly and accommodating, the food was beyond delicious! Everything was perfect!! The place is absolutely beautiful !!! Kari, Maurice, Pam and the staff truly work hard to make you feel welcome. It is a few miles from San Ramon. The town of San Ramon has everything you might need. The farmers market is a must !! The attention to details of Vida Mountain is wonderful. The yoga Shalla, and the pool are beautiful. The food was amazing !! My mom and I visited Vida Mountain resort and Spa in February. We participated in the Evolve yoga retreat, put on by Mikaela Millington. Over and above the exceptional yoga, mediation and excursions... The service, food and sunsets we’re exceptional! We had the best vegetarian meals and fresh juices prepared for us daily. I left Vida Mountain completely restored! We will miss this beautiful place and people. Until next time :)

My partner and I attended a yoga retreat at the Vida Mountain Resort & Spa. We rented the Zen Cabin (the private suite) for one week and were blown away by its beauty. The private jacuzzi, the elegant view, and the stunning bathroom were a few of the many highlights from our stay. Not to mention the friendly and welcoming staff, the DELICIOUS food, and all of the wonderful amenities available on the resort including the massage and steam room. The breathtaking sunset views were something out of a dream. All in all, our trip was one in a lifetime and we certainly would love to visit again.
