This B&B makes you realise that, these days, a good B&B is far superior to staying in a hotel. Mike and Suzie, the owners, are totally charming, and it is very evident that they have put their heart and soul into this wonderful set of buildings. All sorts of little extra touches make your stay special. If you are lucky... More

I have stayed here 3 times now and am a bit loathe to post a review as I don't want others to know about it! Stayed in the seaside room once and the 4 poster twice. Staying again soon. I love the decor, it is ideally suited to the farmhouse with its old beams etc. The rooms are comfortable and... More

We stayed here just for one night .. What a treat, so relaxing and quiet. The house is steep in history but has lots of charm and is very comfortable. The breakfast was perfect ..with lovely fresh fruit and a cooked option too. Would have loved to have stayed longer as we felt very at home with Suzie and Mike.

We stayed in the Seaside Room in the annexe for 1 night on this weekend 12/09/15 and had a fantastic time. Mike and Suzie are warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us, they even catered for my dietary needs and the breakfast was LUSH!! There are not enough words to describe the house and grounds they are simply... More

Just returned from a two-night stay and would highly recommend. Homely, comfortable and a warm welcome from Susie & Mike. Breakfast excellent on all fronts: my husband can vouch for the cooked breakfast and I particularly appreciated the fruit compotes and yogurt, as I prefer a healthier option. Lots of attention to detail - a PROPER hairdryer and - bliss... More

I stayed here for three nights with four friends for a wedding in Ditchling, sharing the barn annexe (Seaside and Sunflower rooms). It was a really delightful experience which began even before we arrived during a lovely email correspondence with our host Susie. She was very accommodating to our needs, including special breakfast requests for a vegan in our party... More

We stayed here for one night while walking the South Downs Way. My research was a bit lacking here as I had got so excited about the reviews I forgot to check exactly where it was, so be warned that it is about 3 miles from Jack and Jill Windmills, which is a bit of a trek after 17 miles... More

We stayed her with a group of friends as was visiting hickstead showground. The hosts susie and Mike were fab and made you very welcome. The rooms were delightful and quirky and the beds were very comfortable . ...and the bathrooms had a throw back to the 70 's feel....but all added to the charm! The breakfasts were amazing with... We were delighted to experience Susie and Mikes hospitality recently. I could happily have spent weeks pottering about their beautiful house and garden! Our family stayed in the Hydrangea and Four Poster Rooms, both delightful. The attention to detail, in every aspect of this house and standard of service offered, is amazing. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Lovely hosts, with... More

We recently stayed over the weekend and were very well looked after. The house is beautiful, the room we stayed in was extremely spacious with really comfortable four poster bed, windows on three walls looking over the amazing garden and countryside and a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was also fantastic!
