The first hostel in Wadi Rum on the way from Petra where Petra's highlands share their winter rainwater to Wadi Rum for 50 km down to Humeima with it’s Nabataen pools adjusted by Roman aqueducts. ❂ Trekking Jordan Trail - bicycling - traveling? You'll find in Malakot Inn: Bedouin dinner, hot showers, free Wi-Fi and a choice of rooms, tents and open sky options for overnight in the desert before continuing your way. ❂ It's a tiny living quarter on ten doroms of wild land that let each of our guests to enjoy peace and quiet (with no generators' noise) desert and to find a modern life comfort and facilities in the middle of nowhere. This remote valley hidden in colored sands of Biblical Land of Edom has six thousands years of human history, three hundred sunny days a year and billion stars - we have no neighbors and light pollution in 3 km radius, make Arabic coffee for early birds watching sunrise, serve breakfasts and dinners any time that suits you and walk a tiny goat flock in the huge mountains - welcome to join, I have heard that people made their personal records here and got bigger number on their step-trackers than in Petra, can you believe that!? Jeep tours, camels and horses rides are available from the camp too.

Most friendly people I ever met. Great food, great hikings. I would definitly recommend this place! The jeep safari was awesome, the accomodation was good, good beds, toilet, shower. At night you can look at the stars(beds outsite).

if you want to live all the stereotypes of a night in the desert (luxurious tents with air conditioning, campfires with musicians and full of tourists clapping their hands), the Malakot Inn is not for you. on the other hand, if you wish to live a real authentic experience then go for it! Jafar and Julie welcomed us as friends or family member. they allowed us to live a very beautiful adventure on a human scale in the heart of the desert. Julie knows each plant, each typology of stone, and takes care of the goats (we accompanied her after sunrise to walk the flock). Jafar is a true desert man who cooks really well ... a real treat! the accommodation space is simple and functional, no useless luxury, just the essentials (a comfortable bed and a good down) to enjoy the experience. we can only advise you to share a unique moment with Jafar and Julie at the Malakot Inn Edith and François

We were sleeping in this lovely place, Jafar is the best venue and made our stay unique. You can see the stars and the moon and feel in the middle of nowhere. It has clean rooms, and bathrooms for showering. Dinner and food was very tasty. I recommend this place, this is my second time and I will return

Food, hospitality and surroundings amalgamate into a unique experience. If you judge your experiences by how the waiters are dressed, how soft and spotless the bed in the room are, then avoid. But don’t miss it if you want something to remember for the rest of your life.

It was amazing tour, the best experience in all our traver thru Israel and Jordan. You will never forget it. If you plan to come from Israel, Eilat-Aqaba border crossing, you can leave your car on a big free parking around the border crossing. Julia can help you get transfer taxy from the border to the desert, or to Petra first and next day to the desert for example.
