Situated on one of beautiful island in Mekong River, Cai Be Town, Tien Giang Province, Mekong Ecolodge stand beside Cai Be floating Market and inside fruit gardens which emphasize the beautiful but seldom visit rural area on the side of Mekong River. With 80 per cent Vietnamese live in the countryside, visitor to Vietnam are rarely given opportunity to peek beneath the veil of this age-old-culture. It is our goal to set a benchmark in ecotourism here that can be replicated throughout the region. In order to do this, we need to continue to show our guests how most Vietnamese actually live, far removed from tourist hot pots which dot the country. Beautiful natural surroundings notwithstanding, it's not surroundings nor the brick and mortar of villages which make up communities. It's the people. In Mekong Ecolodge, it is important to us that you feel welcomed and included. We do this by offering the true Mekong Vietnamese hospitality. This is necessary if we wish to learn as much from you as we hope you learn from us.

This is a unique lodge to stay in the Mekong Delta. A very strong team of 4 women, a beautiful wel maintained garden. They offer everything from breakfast to dinner, cooking classes, tour in Mekong delta with very good guides at a reasonable price. They help you sorting out transportation from Ho Chi Min - Saigon. Hue and Than are well trained super hosts with a lot of experience and a not to be beaten smile and friendliness. You can communicate easy with them on WhatsApp

My wife and I had a 3 - day stay here some days ago. I must say, it is a truly wonderful vacation. Everything is perfect, the landscape, the environment, the staff and the resort owner (Ms. Hue). By our last day we had been taken to the ferry by Ms. Hue and her man, it is bit surprising memory, haha. I would recommend you all to come and try this (the resort), to taste the local dishes, the hospitality and more… Surely will come back. Thanks for everything set for us. Long and wife (15 – 17 April, 2021).

This was the perfect place to stay after am exhausting but wonderful trip around Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Our son came up from HCMC to join as and said he would recommend it to all his friends living there as a great break away from the city. Pool, massages drinks always available and choice to eat under cover or on the veranda. The trips out were well priced and just long enough

We staff very friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The food was delicious and well priced for the portion sizes. The rooms were clean, with aircon and mosquito net for comfort. The bathrooms were also clean and a nice touch to shower outdoors (still private). The only downside is the tours offered are quite expensive so I’d recommend finding tours in the main centre. Which was a quarter of the price. Overall though we had a great time and felt relaxed during our stay. Thank you!

We had two nights at the Mekong Ecolodge homestay. The lodge is situated on a small island near Cai Be. The rooms are lovely with a bath and toilet outside. Beware that you are close to nature in all aspects, so you should consider to take the fruits in the room outside. The food is good and we also had a small cooking lesson. One day we were on a biking tour in the area and it was very interesting and we had lunch at a local family.

We stayed at Mekong Ecolodge overnight during a 2-day Mekong Delta trip we booked in HCM. Good bits Amazing staff, they could not do more for us and Tuay, who spoke the best English was superb and really helpful. Food was really good, I read on a comment here that food is expensive - it really isn't. The staff were really good and even checked when we couldn't finish all our food - the portions were great and we were just full! The little bungalows are very cute and really nicely decorated on arrival. Outdoor shower was exciting with good heat and water pressure. Other points; Yes, you're in the jungle. So there might be some noise and some bugs around, but it's part of the experience and certainly not the fault of the hotel - you are by no means slumming it. The rooms are also very reasonable on Booking.com so if you are paying a lot, check with your agent and do your research. All in all a great experience, especially when we were considering 'just another day' on the beach. This was memorable and highly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Ecolodge is well situated on an island in the Mekong delta. Although it's labelled as Home Stay, there are 11 separate bungalows with each its own terrace and clean facilities. Central dining and breakfast organised like a hotel, cooking class included. But then came the night : if you sleep light and you hoped to have great rest at the country side, think again ! All around there's karaoke, dogs and frogs, and when they go finally to sleep around 5am, ducks and cocks and workers take over the ever present noise. Personally I needed a full day of recovery, a pity during holiday.

Had a great time, especially the kids. fishing at the lodge itself and Cycling around the island. The lodge is situated near the ferry crossing and very well maintained. We have travelled across Asia and many such lodges quickly fall into disrepair with the tropical climate. However, Mekong Eco Lodge is clearly well run with excellent cleanliness and a wonderful fertile garden. The host Ms Yen was very attentive and forgiving of the kids rowdiness. The breakfasts were very good (we had the local options) and for other meals ate at the village. There's not much to do after dark but early nights after Saigon was a good change. Was pleasantly surprised to see fireflies in the lodge itself as understand fireflies are quite rare in the Mekong nowadays. Overall recommended and would visit again perhaps with larger group

We went there during the long weekend holidays. we really appreciated the team effort in the service. The rooms were simple but nevertheless still very nice and comfortable. Definitely will recommend it . the only minor point would be that even if our host for the Mekong tour was very friendly, it would be nice to see something different than the same tour than anyone is doing as well, with a more Eco-friendly approach . But it was still very nice
