We have just returned from a week at this campsite, although the weather wasn't the best; the heated pool, the wonderful bakery and great activities made it a very enjoyable week. The staff are all trying their absolute best to work with all of the CV19 restrictions and doing a great job of it. The site is a medium sized site and has great ensuite facilities for camping pitches, inflatables and trampolines for children and even a little farm. It is ideally located near to some amazing beaches and close enough to Saint Malo and Mont St Michel to make easy day trips. But what made this site truly wonderful was the staff, we had a mechanical issue with our car and the site manager Pierre was fantastic, without him I have no idea how we would have managed to solve it, he even offered to lend us his car, now that is great service. We would definitely go again and when its easier we will definitely try to!

My wife and I ,both Senior Citizens, have just returned from two weeks at Les Iles near Granville. We have stayed on many camping sites in Brittany and Normandy over the years and this was by far the best. We booked a three bedroom Premium "Cottage" to allow us plenty of room which we got. The "cottage" was fitted out to the highest standard .Accommodation is well spaced out and designed to avoid night noise from vehicles arriving late. .The pool is fine though a little cramped at peak hours. Dining in the restaurant is very good -though bar prices are a little high -for example €4 for a small bottle of Badoit water!! .But the Entertainment at night is Free and staff were great with the kids. .One other point which might assist guests-better Road Signage advertising Les iles location is needed. as the Site is off the beaten track. .But overall a lovely place. .A special Thank You to Laure , the girls at Reception and all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Frank..

We just camped at Les Iles for 12 days with a preschooler. It was an excellent place. The pitches are large and well organised, all have en suite bathrooms with fridge which is brilliant. We were very close to the entertainment and whilst you could hear it of an evening it was not intrusive. The whole campsite is well run and spotlessly clean. Reception cannot help enough always friendly. Restaurant is decent and better than I expected from a campsite. The pool is great but it is not large and got a little busy on the hot days. Not a problem with our child but might be something if you were adults without children or had very young children. Overall we loved it and would go back.

Lovely campsite. Everything is extremely clean and well maintained. Pitches are a generous size, on shingle rather than sand, and the private toilet and shower are brilliant! The restaurant is lovely as is the shop. There is a lot to do for the kids, pool, softplay, ping pong l, play area etc. Not really a problem for us but the local church has occasional manic bell ringing going on. But the walk into the local village is well worth it, if only to see the church up close !

We have just returned from our family (2 adults, 2 children aged 6 & 10) trip to Yelloh! Village Les Iles. We stayed on a premium camping pitch for 11 nights. Pitch: -the ground is not sand, more accurate to call it shingle. Please be warned, there are hidden very sharp stones - wish we had known before hand. We suffered several punctures to our footprint which went through to puncture the ground sheet - an expensive issue which could have been avoided had we known. It also meant that standing pooled rain water seeped through wetting our new mattresses and clothing - a bit annoying! Did try to raise this on departure but don't think she understood, she just smiled and shrugged her shoulders. - they advise taking longer pegs due to the type of ground, listen to that! And make sure they are strong pegs!! - we were lucky to have a larger than others pitch right on the edge of the site, near to the gate into the village. This resulted in our pitch being much quieter than the rest of the site and not so close to other campers. We would have disliked being on the other pitches as they were quite close together and loud. - the private facilities with the pitches (toilet, shower, sink, full sized under counter fridge, BBQ & covered outdoor seating) were pure luxury! Not sure I'll be able to share facilities ever again! The site in general: - lovely sized site, not too big! Great for younger families but I think teens may get fed up after a couple of days. - good pool facilities again for younger families. - bar & restaurant were ok however we didn't have any drinks and only 1 meal as was quite expensive. - the shop was small but had enough for emergency supplies. We would recommend the patisserie in the village as much nicer produce and slightly cheaper. Granville is only 10 mins down the road and has a huge supermarket (check opening days/times on google prior to heading out!). There is also a fuel station there. - we noted there didn't appear to be site rules in force, as usual not all holiday makers are respectful of others (in terms of noise, not supervising their children etc). We came across a lot of children who were swearing, hitting, being generally rude etc and I never saw any parents with them. Not the sites fault. Also, the main road to all sites/caravans went past all the pitches, making it dangerous for the children who wanted to play near by or ride their bikes. - the entertainment was as we'd expect. The animation team worked very hard! Not all of it was to our tastes but that was fine, we just avoided it at those times. I appreciate those pitches closer to the main site area with the stage may have been disturbed by the noise which did go on until quite late at night (10/11pm). -Laundry faculties (payable) as well as free use of iron and ironing board! Normandy: - great area with a lot of historical points of interest. The a D Day landing beaches were all within 1-1.5 hours and a must see a long with the museums. We went to the newest 'D Day Experience' which we all enjoyed. The reception can give you a discount voucher for this. - Pointe du hoc amazing historical place - Mont - Saint - Michael. Another must see! Amazing but very very busy!! Again within an hours drive. - there is also a zoo approximately 20 minutes down the road which was a great family day out, animals appeared to be well cared for. - there was a great mini golf 5/10 minutes away which was very reasonably priced and a lot of fun! Overall a great campsite and would recommend, just take note of the above points :-)
