#1 of 3 hotels in Kigomani
SeVi Boutique Hotel is situated on the NE part of the spice island of Zanzibar, directly opposite of the spectacular atoll of Mnemba, a fantastic diving and snorkeling area. With only 13 Bungalows and one Villa nestled amidst our lush tropical gardens, located directly on an isolated bay, you enjoy the exclusivity of your personal piece of paradise. Unwind with stunning views of the Indian Ocean that unfolds from turquoise to ocean-blue and the pristine white sand of the beach. A setting, not only to reconnect with loved ones but also with your inner self. When the tide is low (twice daily), a “reef walk” is an excellent way to explore the oceans treasures and admire the amazing corals revealed. Our staff will be happy to organize this for you. When tide is high, you can swim and snorkel right in front of the hotel. Take a dhow and enjoy crystal water snorkeling or join our in-house PADI center for a diving trip through one of the world’s most famous underwater reserves.

If you are looking for a beautiful boutique hotel in Zanzibar, with a friendly and personable staff, the Sevi is the place for you! We just got back from our three nights stay at the Sevi and have nothing but good things to say about it. From the beautiful landscaping, 3 pools, friendly staff and great food… The Sevi exceeded all of our expectations! The owner was there to greet us upon arrival, and he chatted with us every time we saw him to make sure our experience was enjoyable and unique. I would definitely stay here again in the future and I would recommend this place to both friends and family. Thank you

BEST HOTEL FOR YOUR ZANZIBAR GETAWAY! My fiancé and I traveled here and fell in love with SeVi Boutique Hotel. The best part - THE STAFF! George, Ashraf, Dainess, Oscar, Esther, Jackline, Abraham, and the many others who made our vacation a dream come true! + Always genuine, greeted with a smile and conversation about the trip + Always welcomed after excursions & trips + Best Customer Service 24/7 + Transport planning + Effortless day/night excursion planning + Special dining per your request + ALWAYS felt safe in & around SeVi + ALWAYS BOOK TAXIS THROUGH THEM - they were cheaper than any alternative + Spacious & Clean accommodations + Complimentary massages! + Beautifully kept grounds + BEST SAND BEACH IN ZANZIBAR - Sand was like cooking flour. Amazing white powder + Tons of hammocks/beach chairs to lie in + Super clean pools - there are many - with towels provided + Beach access! Also, raked clean from any seaweed from the night before :) **friendly cats to pet as well for animal lovers. Say hi to “Jambo” within the grounds :)) Dainess & Oscar at the front really went above & beyond! You must ask for them along with Ashraf. 🙏 Felt like a home away from home. CAN’T WAIT TO HOPEFULLY RETURN!

We stayed at SeVi for 7 nights and no words can describe how great this experience was! The place is super clean, the food is tasty and the staff members are lovely. The bungalows offer private spaces overlooking the beach with cosy plunge pool in each. George (the owner) and Dainess are nice and helpful. I forget to mention that they organised my wife and I a lovely surprise romantic dinner (the kitchen staff sang for us!) and decorated our room with honeymoon decorations. We absolutely love the place and must visit again.

From the moment we arrived (and we arrived early) it felt like home, albeit if your home is a lush tropical paradise perched on white sand beaches being lapped by the Indian Ocean. The initial wait for our room to be ready was eased by the attentive service and wholesome breakfast. All the staff were amazing and within a short space of time we truly felt we were amongst friends. Dainess in particular was a superstar helping us to solve any issues that cropped up during our stay. The whole resort has a relaxed easy going vibe and offers a real sanctuary away from the craziness of 2020. It’s true that the beach doesn’t necessarily offer proper swimming opportunities but the pools are a great alternative. Personally I spent hours shallow snorkeling amongst the corals and small reef fish and had a great time. If you are lucky you might just spot the odd Octopus or two. We booked through the hotel for the snorkeling trip to Mnemba Island which was great but the 18 strong pod of dolphins on the way back really made the week. The guys in the boat were great in getting us into the water so that the dolphins swam straight towards us and were careful not to hassle them. George and his wife have created a true little paradise and it’s certainly working judging by the occupancy rate and the other reviews. Hakuna Mattata
