The location of the hotel was excellent, a short walk or scooter ride from the unesco world heritage site of the rice fields. Our hosts were a bit absent, but it may be because they didn't speak too much english. The hotel needed a bit of TLC, and was a bit grubby but not too off-putting. It wasn't all bad though, the breakfast was good for one. There are awesome views of the rice fields and balinese volcanoes from the terrace. We had a really relaxing time here as most tourists just come for a day trip and the town gets quiet after sunset. Restaurants nearby close as early as 5pm because it's so quiet but there are 1 or 2 that stay open for dinner.

A great place for a settle down and refresh your trip with a spectacular rice terrace view all over. Restaurants, Warung with a view gourmet menu or buffet will be easily find and choose on your willing. Need long bench at some wide spaces instead of parking area at most. I believe it will be improve.

The room would be good when they would clean it. Nothing will be clean, even in the warung (restaurant) they clean nothing. It's only OK to go to there, if it's important for you to stay in the ricefields and to make a long walk there early in the morning. If the most important thing for you is cleanness, dont go to there. The price of a room is as much as a beautifull room anywhere in Bali. There is internet, but it is so slowly that you cannot use it.
