It was my first time at Villa Despina, but i cannot wait for the next holiday in the same place. It was a pleasure for me to meet the very kind, friendly staff and also, to live for 2 weeks in a cosy apartment with a spectacular sea view. Speaking of it, the sea was very clear, with a quiet, clean beach. Nearby, there is a shadowy garden where children can play while their parents enjoy a lot of cocktails and fresh drinks from the beach bar. I cannot wait to come again.

We only visited its beach club. Sandy beach. Comfortable sitting sections. Clean. Fast service. Positive team. I liked the food. You need to spend at least $22 on food and umbrella etc. to enjoy the beach. It has a little change room and a shower. A bit expensive.

We were very pleased when we arrived to Villa Despina, the location is much nicer than in the pictures. It is very clean, the garden and the beach are amazing, you have a lot of privacy, the owner and his parents were wonderful and very helpful. The beach bar staff was friendly and nice, we had a great time.

We enjojed our stay in this lovely place. Cozy villa with modern furniture and fully equipped kitchen, private beach with huge sunbeds and crystal water. The beach bar has a "library"for gin lovers. Free WiFi with very good signal. Family run business by trained, dedicated owners.

We were in late June 2013, two adults and two children. Wonderful peaceful place, nice semi private beach, beautiful garden, a lot of trees, shadows, flowers, nice children playground, private parking place. Rooms with beautiful sea view and terrace. We are booking for this August again. Looking forward for another holiday there.

Apart from being nicely renovated villa, with clean rooms and new furniture, electric keys and other tech mambo jumbos (which you don't need when on vacation), yard with nice beach, umbrellas and sun beds, bbq, olive tries etc, unfortunately there are also dirty sheets and smelly towels changed every 4 days, a person cleaning your room at 15h when you have lunch at the terrace, no wi-fi, bedrooms oriented 10m from regional road with car noise, abandoned surrounding area similar to the ghost city etc. But above all, the owner's son that manage the business named Anastasios, is rarely unsympathetic, lazy, not interested and non involved person, unorganized, without true willingness to help and inform you about anything, leaving an impression as if he is there only to take the money. It is not always in buildings and grass and electric windows, but also in warmth and feeling that you are welcome and feel relaxed. At the leaving, Anastasios didn't even say i hope all was good and hope I see you next year, which unfortunately will not happen. It is such a pity, in my opinion, that such accommodation will not last long if the owner continue to approach the business with no soul, dedication and joy...

It is around 2,5km away from "civilization" and if you dont have car, it is not so easy to make bigger shoping. You can take bike and make beautiful ride to Polichrono, which itself is boring "city" but offers markets and restorants.
There is only one restorant close to the villa with nice but poor menu.
It is almost impossible to get taxi and it costs 7 eur to take you to Polihrono.
Although there were three of us in studio, the owner offers only two sunbeds and one ambrela. For the price we paid (100 eur per day) it would be nice if he invested additional 30 eur to buy some extra sunbeds and ambrella for full comfort of guests. I spent ten days sharing my sunbed with my 5 years old son.
They have strickt rules and you are not allowed to talk on the balcony and around villa during so called siesta (14.30-17), which I respect but still ...

The beach and beach area are fantastic. It offers wide opportunities to spend your time on beach, on the sand, on the grass, to make barbeque, to sit in garden, to play with kids on the playground. We stayed in studio wich is quite small but very clean and it offers all you need. It is really only for couple and eventually with very small child who can sleep with you in bed. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpfull.
The water is beatifull, beach is so quiete and clean, it is really peace of paradise.
I am quiete sure that I will go there again and for sure I would recommend it to everyone, especialy if you go without kids.

This was our first time in Villa Despina. The place is very nice and quiet. It is not far away from the crowded Polichrono Beach and Supermarkets. It has a large area of grass and playground for children, barbecue as well as the private beach. The sea was very warm and is nice for the children. We found great people there between the guests. Regarding the price, my opinion is that this place is overpriced. If the hosts invests more in refreshing of the furniture of the studios, separating of some stones of the beach and better arrangement of parking space, this place could be perfect.
