Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time. From check in to check out Polina was really helpful and served with a smile. Rooms are decent sized with a balcony. Rooms are cleverly designed and bathrooms just about the right size. It’s the location that’s great. Just by the beach and much quieter and serene than neighbouring villages. We stayed towards the end of season and hence didn’t experience any noise mentioned in other reviews. It was really quiet and enjoyable. My son enjoyed their breakfast. Staff at restaurant are very friendly. Cleaning staff work hard to keep the premises clean from guests carrying sand on their feet from the sea. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed. In my view it offered really good value. Pefkohori is the nearest big town and is a 12 minute drive. There are local supermarkets and restaurants in the area. Restaurant food during dinner and lunch is also good and good value.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it’s a lovely modern hotel steps away from the beautiful beach with lagoon like sea. The hotel is fairly new so it is immaculate, comfy beds, and bath robes and good AC. You also get complimentary beach towels which is great to save bringing your own. The reception staff, the restaurant staff and the beach guy are all so hard working and friendly and were always very attentive. Breakfast was amazing and you could choose to sit down next to the beach listening to the waves. The hotel is in the centre of Polychrono, so all of the lovely tavernas are on the door step. If you want to venture further along the coast you can find lovely places within about 20 minutes drive either side. We loved traditional Afitos and also the beautiful beaches in Paliouri and posidi. My boyfriend took me here for my 40th and it’s one of the best holidays I’ve ever had! Thank you to everyone at the sea level, everything was perfect! Hope to see you next year 🙏

We spent 14 days at the Sea Level Hotel and are amazed! The hotel is located in the middle of the small town of Polychrono directly on the crystal clear sea. In the immediate area are many good restaurants and bars as well as supermarkets or souvenir stores.
The rooms are very modern, clean and equipped with a pretty good AC. We had half board and therefore got a four-course menu every evening. Especially the delicious desserts should be mentioned, which were created with great attention to detail and left nothing to be desired (luckily there is also a small gym in the hotel ;-)). Also the fantastic drinks at the hotel bar we can only recommend! What made our stay at Sea Level Hotel especially unforgettable was the extremely friendly, helpful and professional team! Terri, who is in responsible for the beach, makes a lot of effort and is immediately on the spot when a sunbed needs to be moved or an umbrella needs to be installed. The waiters at the morning and evening meals are also very attentive and fulfill every wish. Especially to mention is Kostas, who provided every day for good mood with his positive personality.
We can highly recommend the Sea Level Hotel and hope to return soon to this baeutiful place to this wonderfull people!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The guests receive a key for the parking place which is very important for the location. They welcome you with Prosecco. There is a beach boy who arranges seating, and towels, and food/drink orders at the beach. He was great. But you should reserve your spot the shore early to pick a nice place. The rooms were very comfortable. Even tough, it is considered as an adults only hotel, they can not do it at the beach because it is open to public. The breakfast was nice except the instant coffees from the machine. I don't understand how a nice hotel serves that coffee at breakfast, even tough they serve great coffee during the day. The manager lady of the breakfast was the nicest and the most polite lady I have ever seen.

My best friends surprised me with a bachelorette trip to Polychrono and this hotel. Everything was arranged to perfection. The rooms were amazing! The stuff arranged for a buffet with sweets, fruits and prosecco in each room upon arrival and during our 3-day stay there they took really great care of us. We barely left the hotel to go elsewhere. Great restaurant with good food and good service right by the beach, a sufficient pool and sunbeds on the beach right in front of the hotel. I got a trip I’ll never forget and I’ll sure come back for holidays again. THANK YOU!

Stay in Late August/Early September 2024
Room: We stayed in Room 206, a Superior room with a side sea view. The room was spacious, essentially a standard room with an additional sofa bed. However, the side sea view was hardly worth mentioning. Storage space in the wardrobe and bathroom was very limited. One particularly annoying aspect was the safe's location at the bottom of the wardrobe, requiring us to kneel every time we needed to use it, which was very inconvenient. Complimentary fruit, coffee, tea, and one bottle of water were provided, but refills were not included. The fridge worked well, but the freezer compartment was broken. The small terrace was pleasant. Overall, everything was clean, well-maintained, and in good condition. The cleaning staff did an excellent job.
Breakfast: The breakfast was outstanding. There was a wide selection, including freshly squeezed orange juice, and the quality was excellent, except for the coffee from the machine. The lady overseeing breakfast did an excellent job—everything was replenished immediately, and she was very attentive. The rest of the breakfast staff was also efficient, clearing tables quickly and keeping them clean.
Restaurant & Bar: No complaints here. The food quality was high, with a range of international dishes and local Greek specialties. Prices were reasonable, and the service was impeccable. The bar was well-stocked and capable of making any desired cocktail.
Beach: The hotel's private beach was admittedly small and often crowded, but it was very well managed by Terry, who attended to every request promptly, politely, and efficiently. He even brought drinks and snacks to the beach.
Service: Maria from the booking department was incredibly helpful when we considered extending our stay. The reception staff organized taxis and arranged our return trip, making everything smooth and convenient.
Conclusion: The hotel has several strong points—particularly the friendly staff, the excellent location, and the overall quality of its offerings. However, noise and odors from the surrounding area were noticeable drawbacks. Additionally, the loud music from the hotel's own bar was disruptive. Overall, I would rate the hotel 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Just back from a week away with my husband staying in this fab hotel. The location is amazing, literally right on the sea front. We ate our breakfast every morning just steps away from the sea. We had half board at the hotel & the food at breakfast & every night was delicious. An absolute abundance of food & choices at breakfast & a four course dinner, with local fresh ingredients & a choice of main meal in the evening. By the end of our week away we were practically waddling to the beach! But oh so worth the diet now we’re back at home. The hotel was very clean & modern & even though our hotel room was on the small side with not much storage space, it was clean & comfortable & perfectly adequate for our stay. The bed & the pillows were particularly comfortable. But what makes this four star hotel feel like a five star experience, is undoubtedly the staff. They were all so friendly, kind, welcoming & helpful. You really felt that they genuinely wanted to help you to enjoy your stay to the maximum. An amazing crew & they most definitely made our stay all the more memorable. A massive thank you to all involved & I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a five star feeling, luxury, relaxing holiday.

It’s an adult only hotel, but don’t think you’ll get a nice sleep and rest in your stay. Cleaning crew start working on rooms at 7:30, talking to each other loudly, singing, laughing and cleaning the other rooms very loudly. So you’ll wake up at 8am. Don’t think you’ll rest in your holiday staying in this hotel. Furniture in the rooms are new but maintenance is really poor, I’ve seen rust and mold in bathroom, added the photos. The thermostat of AC unit in the room didn’t work, so when you turn up the AC at night, you’ll wake up freezing because it won’t stop cooling. Told the staff about it, blamed me not to know how to use an AC unit. We reserved a standart room, later we thought it would be nice to upgrade to a sea view room and contacted the hotel for an upgrade, and told them we were willing to pay extra for an upgrade. They sent a message that we would get a free upgrade, told them we appreciated it. And when we checked in they said that we can’t get a sea vlew room and it was a misunderstanding. They would try to arrange it next day, but of course they didn’t. We offered to pay extra but they said they were full. Not even an apology! Standart rooms have a balcony close to a prison yard, you can see the sky from a narrow gap between the buildings. There’s not enough sunlight in the room even at noon such that you have to turn on the lights even during the daytime. I believe the photos for the standart room are altered, the room never gets that light. if you think about staying in the standart room think twice because it definitely doesn’t deserve it’s price. The hotel is next to the beach but prevailing wind in Greece is from north, so the sea is always wavy. If I go to Chalkidiki again, I’d choose southern side of Kassandra, in which the waves are much cooler and hotels that have better price/quality ratio. In conclusion I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again if it was for free of charge

This hotel is the best thing in Polychrono. The private beach and the hospitality and kindness of the staff especially make this a six star experience, but it is not possible to give 6 stars unfortunately.
Terry at the beach is the great, he is always kind and will do his best so you have a nice experience, you should give that guy a big bonus. Beach is great, beds are new and there is always a spot for the guests. People from the outside of the hotel can get a bed if the hotel is not filled if they order food and drinks for 15 EUR.
Breakfast was great, good diversity and people serving the breakfast were excellent. Amfora restaurant has excellent food, in my opinion it is the best in Polychrono.
Reception personnel was great too as well. Rooms were cleaned on regular basis, everything is new.
Two recommendations I would give are:
If you are returning late by car, park somewhere else than the private parking. You will be driving through the crowds, restaurants and there was an elderly Greek person that was knocking on my window. We decided not to use the instructions given by the hotel staff but parked at the public parking that was 4min by foot to the hotel. It is faster and less stressful than driving through the crowd.
You may want to avoid the ground floor that is looking over the street, as the street is quite busy in the evening. 3rd floor, rooms looking over the pool or with sea view are the best.

Are the sunbeds still free on private beach for guests of hotel?
Hi. I haven’t stay on double room but I think they are ok. I strongly suggest superior or premium room.
No, you don’t have to wear mask on the beach!
The swimming pool are small 50-60sqm and the the area for sunbeds are small (for 5-6 sunbeds ) But the hotel is on the beach and in private area offers sunbeds and towels free of charge for the customers, and the sea are very nice, and the service are excellent.
