We stay one night as group at this hotel, location very good. We got very big and comfort room, it clean and well organized. We enjoy stay at the room, breakfast was good. Hospitality was very good, smile team.
Located on the main street, it has a huge and bright lobby. The bedroom was big and clean with a simple interior design. It appeared new and more like a serviced apartment rather than a hotel. The bed and pillows were firm and comfortable. Breakfast was served on the ground foor and it was of good quality. Halong Bay is a place with so many small islands and it is worth to see. So why not stay here?
We traveled over 12 hours to stay one night in this hotel with Gate1. We had a 6am wake up, but unfortunately the walls are so thin that the family next door might just well have been in our room. We had to listen to their kids screaming and banging about until after 11pm while we tried to sleep. It was the perfect way to ruin what should have been the best and most relaxing part of the trip. The best part about our experience is that we only stayed one night.
Stayed here as part of our tour. The room was spacious and clean a little bit dark not enough light. Breakfast was basic both western and asian options. Nothing much to do around the area. There is a night market within a 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel.
Stayed one night for new years eve. The room was good and spacious. Look the same in the website. The staff were good especially the Front office manager was super good. Location is good too. Breakfast is basic but enough. Enjoyed the stay in this hotel.
Checkin service is fast & convenient. Room is clean but a little bit dark. Equipment is fine but old. Paid 200,000vnd for one more child staying with parents but when we asked for extra bed, they asked us to pay 550,000vnd more. It became to be much more expensive compared with other 4 star hotels in that area. Breakfast is a bonus point for this hotel. Parking area is at the back yard of the hotel, which is not convenient in the rain.
Hotel room was spacious and comfortable. Shower is in bathtub, not a problem except that you have to be a gymnast to get into the bathtub. Reception did not speak English so unable to obtain information on things to see or do in local area. Local area around hotel rather seedy. Breakfast has wide variety of food with eggs cooked to order. Only issue we had was that there was no bacon. Staff were very friendly and tried very hard to please.
Other than during the Vietnam war, I have always wanted to visit Vietnam. Earlier this month my wife and I did a whirlwind tour of the country in 6 days, which included the Halong Palace Hotel near Ha Long Bay. The area surrounding Ha Long Bay is growing rapidly and there are lots of new hotels and shops. The Halong Palace is a modern hotel and is a short drive from the famous bay. As we found anywhere we went in Vietnam, the hotel staff is polite and welcoming. Americans are treated as valued guests and we never had a negative experience with a Vietnamese. The hotel is bright and clean and is a high rise. Our room was just like staying in any nice hotel in the U.S. English is not widely spoken and you often have to point or make hand signals. We ate in the hotel for dinner and the buffet breakfast. Service is excellent, If you have a problem, a staff member is quick to try and assist. While there was a Bloody Mary on the menu, the hostess told me that the hotel did not have tomato juice and I should make another selection. They have wonderful Vietnamese beers and my wife and I always liked our meals. I love Pho and had it daily for dinner and breakfast. During breakfast, it is made before you and it is wonderful, fresh and hot. I often had seconds. I would happily stay at this hotel again. I would give it a 3 star rating.…
The place was clean and modern, the staff helpful, the breakfast was fine. Our room had a lower view of the bay. The pillows were hard so I asked for different pillows which were better but still did too high for my neck.
The Palace Hotel is a modern hotel with plenty of amenities. As a four star hotel in a new part of town, it is convenient to the boat tours, as well as a new night market and several restaurants. It is a few miles from the heart of town. Its restaurant served high quality dinners and breakfasts. The pool was attractive but on the cool side.
