Castle on the beach in Kalpitiya area, where you can relax or sport in nature. Enjoy your stay in the middle of coconut plantations, watch peacocks, cuckoos and other birds daily visiting the garden, enjoy beach just 250m (6minutes) walk, watch stunning sunsets from the unique high sand dune (unique for Kalpitiya) or enjoy our home cousine. We organize dolhpin and whale watching trips from our beach and scuba diving to various dive sites in the area (November-May). Play beach volleyball or table tennis. You can stay in newly opened main building offering family suites and double room or you might prefer stand alone Plastic Bottle House (constructed with 6000 PET bottles) with two bedrooms for upto 6 persons, with bathroom and simple kitchen. You can enjoy your tea or lunch from our main spacious terace while overlooking 1 acre garden with bananas, papaya, coconut and plenty of other tropical trees.
Beautiful property in the palm garden! The staff are very attentive and friendly. Our children loved the pool with the slide and enjoyed playing with toys like Lego. The short, 3-minute walk to the beach begins with a green tunnel and then leads over a dune, making it a relaxing experience. In the mornings, we could watch the fishermen at work. Besides the two child-friendly household dogs, there were no stray dogs around.
We highly recommend the dolphin tour, which departs directly from the beach. The food is varied and delicious. Breakfast always included fresh fruit and juice, with options like toast and eggs, rice pudding, pancakes, and even cornflakes for the kids. Lunch and dinner were delicious and tailored to our needs. Our family room was beautifully furnished, spacious, with plenty of storage space, and very clean.
We would definitely come back!

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and we really did enjoyed it! The room is beautiful and as good as new. The owner and the cook did all they could to make our stay amazing. We only missed an ac, but there is a fan! The pool is nice and there is a waterslide so we had a lot of fun😊

I can't say enough good things about Dune Towers! The rooms have a sleek, natural design that makes you feel instantly relaxed, and the pool area is something straight out of a tropical paradise. There's a waterslide, a waterfall, and even a swim-up bar where you can sip on refreshing drinks. The beach is just a short 5-minute walk across a scenic sand dune, which is where the resort gets its name. Totally worth the little stroll!
One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the dolphin trip. Seeing dolphins jump out of the water, playfully swimming alongside our boat, was nothing short of magical. It's an experience I'll never forget.
We also took a mangrove tour that was fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The food? Absolutely delicious – every meal felt like a special treat.
It’s the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. Whether you're looking to chill by the pool, go on exciting tours, or explore the local area, Dune Towers has it all. I can't wait to come back!

Great place to relax and as a base to explore places nearby. After the swimming pool is done I will definitely visit again with my children and stay longer. The beach is around 200 meters far across the dune. Table tennis and beach volleyball field are available all the time. The staff is very helpful and any trip you desire, they will plan for you and give you advice what to do or not.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! The chef was involved in unhygienic activities, and the owner has hired untrained staff. Our stay was ruined by the chef's abusive behavior, flirting, and uncleanliness. The gate was closed at check-in, and the guard was rude. A fly in our food was the final straw. Unprofessional staff and poor management make this place not worth the money.

You mentioned the closed gate, which was caused by your late arrival during night, but we quickly opened the gate and gave you the room. Also, the guard shared with you his personal tooth paste, but you dropped it into sand next day. You brought dinner from other restaurant, so I am little confused about your meal complains, maybe the fly in that meal. Accommodation in a spacious room with a private bathroom and complimentary breakfast. Very friendly and accommodating staff, led by Thansseem, ready to fulfill any requests. Excellent cuisine with generous portions, including the best coconut pancakes we've ever had. Assistance with arranging excursions and other activities in the area. Airport transfer and island transportation provided by their own driver, Rikas. A peaceful and cozy place, suitable for both relaxation and trips to nearby (or more distant) interesting places.

We had a wonderful stay in the Dune Towers. It was the perfect place to arrive in Sri Lanka. We were given a really warm welcome and everything was taken care of during our stay. Among other things, the owner organized a tuk tuk driver for us who took us from place to place all day for a great price. The route to the quite remote accommodation is adventurous and there is no tourism in the immediate area, so it is a perfect place to get an authentic insight into the world of Sri Lanka away from tourism. We only had problems with the wifi in our room now and then. We can absolutely recommend the accommodation.

I visited you this place before and it used to be good but right now this hotel's staff are unprofessional and untrained. The chef's behavior was appalling, and the owner needs to take responsibility. We experienced a closed gate at check-in, rude staff, and a fly in our food. The chef's attitude was unacceptable.
