Crillon le Brave is a relaxed and informal refuge where you can enjoy all of the simple pleasures of Provence. Located about 25 miles northeast of Avignon, our 36-bedroom hotel - a member of Relais & Chateaux since 1995 - is perched on top of a tiny hill village surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The views from our rooms, terraces and gardens are stunning.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting. The entire hotel is a tiny old village that has been converted into a hotel, which made activities such as walking to a pool feel like a stroll through time. Location 4/5: The hotel is a village set on top of a hill, which affords

The setting is incredible and we were welcomed here by staff perfectly. We enjoyed both an amazing lunch and dinner at their restaurant. Their heated pool was very enjoyable on a sunny day overlooking Mt Ventoux. We had spa treatments in the couples room which felt like a

Our experience was two fold. The room and hotel staff were great. We were upgraded to a suite with a direct view of Ventoux. Beautiful. Staff were terrific, and concierge Julien was very helpful and a delight. The hotel side must be very upset with the restaurant side of the

This is a great hotel that we highly recommend. Sitting on a hilltop, it has 360 degree views of Mount Ventoux and the surrounding Provence countryside. It is not very far from Avignon, but it is a very peaceful setting. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant. We

Dear Madam, Sir, After over 30 years hard working to maintain standard from the past chairmen, the property has been sold. The New onwer is making a marvelous hôtel standard, unfortunataly, it’s long time to rebuilt a saoul of establishment when everyone existing is gone. It’s nice area and wonderfull hotel... Unfortunataly, people need to ne passionate to the catering industry and hospitality and dedicate to the establishments. It takes time. Be sure that it will come back at it use to be. Peacefull, quiet, with people who take care about theirs Guest. Kinds regards

The "Bell Guys" park the cars in a private lot. Their service was excellent and very prompt. We just called the front desk and the car was outside waiting for us. No worries what so ever and we had a brand new car that we had just picked up in Munich. This was indicative of the overall service level at this hotel. Just excellent!

Hello Jennifer, The best option is to take the TGV train to Avignon (the main TGV station, not the old train station in the city) and rent a car there. All of the major car rental companies have offices just in front of the train station. We'll look forward to welcoming you to Crillon le Brave !

Hi Caroline We hired a car for the weekend, which was pretty cheap for 4 days, so we had no need for a taxi! But the concierge at the Crillon is very helpful & I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to get a taxi, although not sure it would be that cheap!

Hello Jody, There are a wide range of activies in the local area, from walking and cycling routes straight from the hotel (along with free bikes to borrow), and for thoses super keen cyclists there is Mont Ventoux to attempt too! We are in a fantastic area for wine and local produce and we have a market local to us for everyday of the week. Our concierge is able to help you arrange whatever activites you may like - from kayaking to horse riding and most things in between! We have compiled our Top Ten that is available on our website. With kind regards, Lucy
